Imagine being at the train station and seeing an army coming at you, all members wearing beautiful kilts. It's too bad that NYC is so far away from me.
What a fantastic experience! Although I am and was on the other side of the country, the energy made me feel that I was there with you. Thank you for bring us all along with you.
This looks like such a great experience. It really makes me want to dive more into the group and the culture. I hope to see more in the future, and perhaps even attend some day.
This is incredible!! I really need to go see this in person sometime! Really cool to see the Scottish heritage being shown in the US at such a grand scale! Pretty neat to see people in Great Kilts too!!
This is a great video. Really shows why celebrating and showing our heritage is so important to us. Meeting people you have never met and by the time you leave they are all part of the family and it's like you've known them for years.
When Rocky is talking with Kyle it is I who walked up and said "I am wearing one!" USAF PV (was wearing my Wallace PV for the Ceilidh the night before).
Sorry I could not be there but it looks like you had a blast; I hope to join with you sometime. Working on getting my friends with kilts to wear them more often. Slaine
@Ronald McRae Wear it Ronald! Treat it respectfully and respect the clan its associated with, and if you feel it necessary, contact the clan Chief and ask permission. Most will enthusiastically say yes!
+USAKiltsOfficial *Thanks for the behind-the-scenes at New York City (NY, USA) Tartan Day.* Had I the finances and the lead time, I'd order a five-yard, 29"Wx35"Hx23"L, in Kilts & Culture; a Piper Dress/Hunting Sporran for 29"W; a Tweed Vest, 38" Short, with lapels and Tweed back in GT Lovat Green, with matching Piper Hose, M(9-11); a Wool Necktie in Ancient Green; a Real Stag Horn Kilt Pin; a Pebble-Grain Kilt Belt, S(28-38), and Highland Serpent Buckle with one each Bottle Holder, Small Belt Pouch and Large Belt Pouch.
Great show
Kudos to your media team for putting together such a high quality video. Very professional.
The Loose Threads videos are quickly becoming my favorites. They go beyond celebrating the Kilt Culture to building a Kilt Community.
Best episode yet.
This video is exceptional! Your production crew is doing a great job!

I was totally going and got piled on with life schedules. Looks like you all had a ball; see you Saturday for the Anniversary!
The bests parts of the video, in my opinion: Ally the Piper ❤❤❤❤❤, the pizza and the scotland flags (and the faces 😂)
Exceptional! Sorry we couldn't attend but will see you all next year!
I’m glad y’all had such an amazing time. I knew y’all talked about how tall Kirk, but, WOW, he’s really tall.
Looks fantastic, would love to come to NYC for a Tartan Day in future 👍

A great event, participate in Tartan Day 24 if you can.

Top tip from a Scot on pronunciation.
Arbroath is Ar-broW-th, and Carnegie is Car-NAYg-ie. Can be tricky sometimes 😊
Is that Tartan at 14:17 a universal? If so I see it in my future. Six kilts is never enough.
That's the MacLachlan Modern tartan (it's a clan tartan, not a universal)
@@USAKiltsOfficial Ah, too bad. I really like that!
@Ronald McRae Wear it Ronald! Treat it respectfully and respect the clan its associated with, and if you feel it necessary, contact the clan Chief and ask permission. Most will enthusiastically say yes!
Lord Rocky your son has grown since the picture on the c&c web site.
How come I never see the Burns Clan represented in NYS? As a Burns I would love to see more.
That looks like a lot of fun. Do you guys get together and do that every year?
This was the first year we went!

Sweet! Plan for it now B.C.!
Owen from Dublin can you do this clan
My Scottish ancestors say #$%$# if you don't like us!
Arr broth ??? Arr broth. ??? Are yall serious , yet another Eric special
Great parade!, looks like you only wear kilts when it is beneficial to your business, I noticed.
Rick, you don't wear them when you are traveling that far. You want it to still look good for the event. Remember the Kilts & Culture motto.
