- We have been living FULL TIME in our RV for over ONE YEAR! Looking back there are A LOT of things we would do differently. Here are just a few things we WISH WE KNEW BEFORE selling it all for a life on the road with KIDS! Stick around until the end so you don't make the same MISTAKES we did!
Great couple with good information to pass along. I struggled with how often she interrupted him. He couldn’t finish a sentence without her cutting him off and finishing his thought.

This is my first video on their channel. They seem like a connected and cute couple but oh my goodness yes she talks over and finishes all his sentences. I understand knowing what your significant other is going to bring forth and your brain jumping ahead but let them say it and then add supporting or confirming content to their segment. Don’t take over every segment. I was actually surprised with how cool he was with it. But like I said at the beginning they seem like a connected and cute couple. I did appreciate their insights to full time on the road living.
I sprinted to the comment section to see if anyone else noticed. Holy guacamole that would drive me crazy.

Love this video! My wife and I are considering going full time Rv’ing. Our kids are not so much about it. The are 17 and 15 this year. So we’re gonna wait until the younger one turns 18 ! I think. Our home is almost paid for. We have the equity to sell and buy everything for cash and that’s how we are going to get started

I have 4 kids and a dog and we have been trying to plan the full time thing for 2 years now. We have a travel trailer that was what we could afford at the time and done trips every few months to weekenders. We are trying to save to get a Class A and pay down debt. So we can be debt free on the road. I found a job remote to go along with my self employment so now my husband needs to find one. I think our plan is working out so far. I susbscribed and will be catching up, crossing fingers soon.

I definitely agree with you on one part. Everyone wants to start out small. I can't drive anything big or I can't tow anything big. If you don't have enough room to be comfortable your trip is over. Like you said, I costs a lot of money to get out of your mistake into the rig you really needed and wanted to begin with. Secondly, does she ever let you finish a statement? Maybe she should just dok all the videos in the future.

My husband wants to do a year of traveling in a camper. We have 2 kids under 3 so as much as I would love to travel and bond as a family I’m having such a hard time getting on board with leaving our safe cozy home with all the hot water, baths and accommodations we need. I need all the advice I can get on the pros and cons with little children on the road.
Find your WHY behind doing it. Spend time talking with your partner and make sure you are both on the same page before stepping in. You have to know your WHY & who your teammates are otherwise, it’s never going to feel good!

Great video with some great points. My wife and I are thinking of selling our home in the next two years and getting an RV. We are thinking Class C but I think 5th wheel would be best. Did you have and experience driving a Class C or 5th wheel prior?
@@jamiewhittimore8390 we really had no experience before making the leap! Lived in a class C for a month before transitioning to fifth wheel. We lived in the fifth wheel for TWO solid years, enjoyed so much of it! Currently exploring the hawaiin islands but if and when the travel itch dies down a little bit, we def would go back to a fifth wheel set up or something of the sorts! Goodluck to you and your fam on your adventures!

I'm sorry but the conversation is basically over if #1 on your list is fuel for your vehicle as if you didn't know or consider that you'd have to buy it and possibly lots of it if you're towing something heavy. Now you just put yourselves on a level that isn't even normal so whatever you say is not going to be worth listening to.

I have a question. Do you think you could navigate this lifestyle with a job that requires good Internet connectivity?
Of course! There’s plenty of solid options for good internet on the road these days! We use Starlink and also have a Pepwave cellular router. It can get difficult in heavily wooded areas with poor cell service, but strong internet is definitely possible to have out here

So whats the number roughly 20k a year for all of these expenses. I ask because i am wanting to do this and with me knowing the number i can make it happen for myself
@@ZerefSaiyan The number just depends on you….. what kind of rig you get, are you purchasing cash or making payments on a loan? Will you get a class C or a fifth wheel and then would need to consider a truck/truck payment. How you will camp….. work camping, boondocking, thousand trails, or high end resorts……
You decide how much or how little this lifestyle will cost you! Just like living in a house or an apartment, you just find what works for you and what you can afford!
What do you guys do for a living on the road? Not sure how to go about making money while on the road.
We do travel nursing, content creation, graphic design, work camping and health coaching! So many options out there to take anything mobile!

We share our *personal* financial picture on our Instagram subscription if you want our family’s personal financial details! But again, it looks different for everyone!

How much did you spend per month on propane in the winter in missouri? We are looking to spend a year in alaska. And are skeptical of being able to survive a winter in a camer up there.

Travel nursing was the main gig when we first started. Now it’s a combination of travel nursing, content creation, and work camping!
What do you guys do for steady income? Lotto winners or work from home jobs?
We do an ebb and flow of travel nursing, work camping, and content creating…. Always choosing time & experiences over money and choose opportunities based on sacrifice of time vs benefit!
So we take contract or seasonal jobs based on job market, weather, and what gives us the most freedom!

@@amberreinke2924 we are still learning to be in front of the camera! When we filmed this, I was so grateful for her interrupting me because I had no idea what I was even going to say anyways. And her talking over me was all of her nerves taking over trying to get through the video 😅😅😅 we’re both working on getting better together & we strive to do that with each new video we make! It’s all about telling our story but storytelling can be more challenging than it sounds!

We didn’t have a clear concept, we hadn’t thought about what we would say and felt the pressure of it all! We’ve gotten better & hope to continue improving & improving! Grateful for you either way!
