For old Duke users , the only difference in engine ice is it's phosphate free and non toxic. Your bike will still heat up during peak summers in traffic
Couple of improper procedures in the video. 1. I don't see any reason for flushing the system with air. That just introduces air pockets in the cooling system making it more in efficient. 2. For a proper flush the whole system should be filled with distilled/demineralised water, engine ran for 2 minutes then system emptied followed by replacing it with fresh coolent. If you don't flush the full system then you end up just change most of the coolent and flushing with full premix coolent is pretty wasteful.

Also while flushing, the mechanic closed the cap on the top right side(the place through which he was pouring the coolant). As far as i know, that should be kept open when u start the engine, so that any trapped air inside is let out. It should be closed only after revving the bike a few times at idle and ensuring that there arent any bubbles coming out.
How much did ice cool cost you? I heard that they void warranty is something happens to engine..or your coolant pump. I have seen many reviews it does make engine cool.. And Bro that is not the procedure to to drain coolant from radiator.. You need to use like 5liters of distilled water and crank the engine to make sure you remove all the old coolant..and again pour some amount of distilled water and again flush it down until it come out clear. I am surprised to see they do this in KTM service Centre.. What did the service guy say about warranty ? Normally the radiator turn on at 13min after start.. What time does it turn on now?

The one KTM uses is just piss, Motul Inugel Expert. Get Motocool or Engine Ice(like in this video). and if anyone want to do MOD, install 2 fans, it will be a blast.

i had high temperature and coolant overfloe issue then i hbe went to servece centre they chnged the pump and oil seal nd top upped the coolnt. and after few months now the radiator and reserver coolant box is totaly empty why ???? plz plz reply
i am using engine ice too 🙋, but i used 10 bottles of distilled water to flush the radiator😜, and ran the bike till the radiator fan kicks in and than flushed the distilled water out, and yes did release the pressure from the radiator from the left side of the radiator nut😛 at the end, and i still feel the bike is running warm, i am thinking of doing it again.🤔 haha.. i dont know what procedure that service guy did, i hope the bike is well.😮
changing the coolant only will not do a big change related to thermal dynamics, but upgrading the fan will definitely help. Although the oem fan is good at reversing air when stopped or at low speed.
@@jawad0sharif it's a temperature thing not miles. You can turn the bike on and wait for the fan to come on. ~10-15 min of idling. Or ride 1 mile in traffic. Or ride 50 miles on the highway and the fan never comes on
This is not complete flush. Old coolant will be there near engine head and without distilled water flush it wont be removed. Fan should turn on and distilled water will flush it. This is just easy work.

Bro i have changed engine ice coolant in my 2017 duke 390 service centre guy used oly 1 lit water one time to flush the radiator and then he poured engine ice but i saw some old coolant inside the radiator will this cause problem or can i leave it as it is
Anand it will not cause that much problem.But mixing is not recommended.Next time tell them to flush the whole system with distilled water 3-4 times until the draining water become clear(no sign of remnant of previous coolant).then pour the new coolant. thanks. please subscribe to my channel.

Rashpinder singh 1st of all: New bike. definitely it ll produce much more heat than a tuned bike. 2nd: if its running in 1st or 2nd gear for the long time - its quite obvious. 3rd : Its KTM. its heating issue is still not solved. Improved a lot by changing the coolant. 4th: Fuel Injector is not an issue I guess. Because its programmed pump. what is changed is just a nozle. 5th: That particular early petrol empting issue which was mentioned here - could be improper fuel meter indication.

Is it true, that although coolants like ice cool/engine ice drastically cool the radiators they are not recommended for the 390 as they have small particles that get stuck in the INTERNALS of the radiator fins, IS THIS REALLY TRUE?
That mechanic really needs to learn his job. He has no idea how to do coolant flush. God knows how these people get jobs. he is only introducing air into the radiator when there should be no air haha that was really funny.he should either flush it continuosly with distilled water or with new coolant untill the old coolant is removed. Find a new mechanic before u end up spoiling ur bike.

in ur case u can buy Duke 250/200
more easier to handle in traffic.

A piece of advice, at 750km change your engine oil to a mineral based oil, till the first service, you'll notice a HUGE cut in the vibes...
you should always cool down your engine before you drain your coolant
