- Great record from the Duprees, was my all time favorite by them until I heard the b-side listening to Hy Lit (A Hy Lit forgotten hit) called "Love Eyes", still this one is an all-time classic! Im 70. Will never be again
We did
@@guidosusi9756 best music.
Totally agree! We had the best years of everything, the outdoors and playing outside with friends. In those days you could find good friends, going to the movies was cheap and a slice of pizza with a drink was 10 cents.
I'm 72 and I agree...we had the best music!
I'm 79 and I still love the music.
Just turned 70 and loved hearing this again!! Brought back so many memories!!😊❤
Loved them in 1963....love them today.
One of my favorite songs of all time. Written in 1952 by Lew Douglas and LeRoy Rodde.
Still great after all this years❤
Oh by the way my daughter is the age of you kids she's 72. Just think I was around when these songs came out. I did the dance the Bop in the '50s and I did the twist in the 60s. I still like rock and roll I have Alexa play it. I watch the news. And watch good movies lots of them old movies. And of course I do my UA-cam everyday keeps my mind active I walk with a walker outside to my patio Garden my daughter and her husband live in the same apartment building but in different apartment. Love to read books.
Everything the Duprees recorded was great. I could listen to their recordings all day long.
There will never be music like this ever again in this lifetime
Wonderful stuff here! Great song!
They don't write music like this anymore. Glad to have lived thru this
era of quality music and harmony.
Such beautiful young men. One of my favorite groups for over 50 years. ❤❤❤
The music And the harmony is terrific.. my late wife loved the group and the music.
A great talented group of men.
Thank you for this video.
Yes, we had the best music, from about 1950 through about 1990. Forty years of greatness.
They don't make them any better than this song or the fabulous Duprees for that matter their music will last forever until the end of time Michael Asaro photojournalist from Waterbury Connecticut😊❤
Great hit from a great group. Such wonderful harmony. Keep them coming!
This is what you get when music is part of elementary and secondary education. We all had an interest in it when we were young and it was a major part of our life. We learned how to sing, play instruments and made GOOD music a part of our lives that carries through to today.
just great music and era that was the best with great memories
Ive loved them for over 50 years. The originals were great and most of the recent ones have been great too. 💋💋💋
The best music!! ❤
So great ..Watch this all the time. Nice cars, nice radio, beautiful music, beautiful country. All American..WTF HAPPENED ?
Open borders destroys America
Great question ⁉️. I wish we could go back to those times! ☺️
Growing up, I was born 1947 and we had the greatest music of all high school of my grandparents house, and my grandfather would listen to the Ames Brothers the ink spots. Victim moon is to watch Lawrence Welk. I still do today on Saturday nights, and Sunday nights grew up with Patty page All the big band music and a lot of times when I watch Lawrence Welk I sing along like people at Kay Kaiser Kate Smith. I grew up with the with the singing Cowboys like Gene Autry Roy Rogers the big band sounds Harry James Benny Goodman that was all the rock ‘n’ roll hits all the beautiful groups like the Duprees The rays back, then there was harmonized groups each generation as their own music music is great for the soul. It can calm you the groups that was at they were on the show brings back a lot of memories folks, the Chantelle, and maybe take care folks.
What happened...the 60's started a downhill slide and it hasn't stopped.
My heart sings 🤩

As the decades go by the new punks who never heard these classics get lost for the newer crap out there, I no longer pay that organization any mind

Beautiful voice the best

This is when men dressed and acted like men! Great group. Hubby and I love listening to them. Brings back great memories!
This is what God intended music to be! 🌟⭐️✨🌙🎇💫
I saw these guys live a hundred years ago. They were singing in a bar on the Black Horse Pike in New Jersey on the way to Atlantic City. They were young. They were energy and sound magical. The Niteclub/Bar atmosphere hinted at dangerous. Wish I could remember name of the Club.
Saw that show too. Richie was singing lead then
And they know how to dress
Had you like them xxx❤❤xxx
Thais Great, where is Why Don’t You Believe Me
Tommy the greatest!,
The Duprees will never sound as good as when Richie Rosato sang lead….can’ understand why he left such a great legacy…
well I think I beat you all age I'll be 90 in May2024. I think my family is taking me to the Queen Mary they have an elevator. Yes I remember all these songs. I think I'm the oldest UA-camr I do this every day I have a three favorites that I watch every day and make comments my daughter hook me up to this or I can just talk I don't have to type I'm not that Swift anymore LOL but my mind is I only have one girlfriend left to her passed away I miss them. My daughter and her husband live in an apartment above me.😍😍
I just turned 85, listen to all 50s, a few early 60s often. bob g
saw them at The Claridge in Atlantic City with a different lead singer...
This performance equates for me personally, absolute perfection.
OK, but not the same without Richie
So great. Although bith groupscwere great, What a shame though that you took down the ones from earlier P 2:00 BS shiws with Richie in the lead.
What's up with that ? Not right
He'll eventually upload them
I am 83,still a magical song,and a great harmony group.
