I saw them open for In This Moment and I stg when they played Alkaline I had to pick my jaw up off the floor, just the most ethereal experience. I was so upset they were only openers. Glad they are getting more traction so they can tour more!
What I love about Sleep Token is that you can approach each new song without any preconceptions about what you will hear. It always sounds like them because of Vessel's distinctive voice...but you never quite know what they're going to do. The more open minded you are the more you'll love them. Also their drummer is a MONSTER.
A buddy tried to get me into ST a year ago and I don't recall why, but the vox didn't really connect. After I heard The Summoning last week, ST has been on repeat and I've cruised through their library. Every song sounds different and unpredictable. And the drummer... he is special.
Fr what I love is every song is different. They don’t have just a distinct style cause each song is different. Some are more metal, some are more chill, each one is different and has its own thing going about it.
This is why I love watching really good music reaction videos, especially Sleep Token. It's like a window into the first time you heard a song you fucking love. You get to relive it, seeing someone love exactly what you've loved for days, weeks, months, years. It's a particular kind of joy.
Sleep Token is one of the most creative bands I have ever come across. You can feel what Vessel sings about deep in your heart and their drummer is BADDD. He is so talented. They are my all time favorite band 🖤

I'd never heard of Sleep Token until Will Ramos did a one take cover of their song Hypnosis. I'd never heard Will sing so I was blown away by his voice. The song is so...hypnotic lol. I highly recommend you react to that next! So then I checked out the original version. I wasn't super into it but it's not my usual favorite genre so it wasn't shocking. But listening to Will sing it was just different and I liked it lol I can't explain more than it was the fact that I hadn't heard Will sing before and his singing voice is gorgeous.
This band is for me really proof that the optics and the sound can be completely different and still fit together incredibly well. I expected something completely different and was positively shocked when I heard the songs.

I've been into ST for years, heard all of their albums and it's amazing to see their progression and development! They used to be quite an underground, niche band before, but with the release of their new single The Summoning, which has 3 million listens on Spotify in just a few weeks, they had a massive boom and I'm so proud of them! ❤You should definitely check out The Summoning, it's a good introduction into everything this band can do - the genre mixing, amazing vocals both soft and harsh, and a little twist at the end.
Been a sleep token fan for the past 3 years and I highly reccomend listening to some of their older stuff before progressing to the new releases. Higher, The Offering and Hypnosis are some of the main ones that stand out. Keep doing what you're doing bro 🤘

Seen them a few months ago not knowing what to expect from them and all i can say the live performance was magnetic i couldnt look away it was entrancing and lulling you into another world then bammm! With the heavy and i was floored . Ive been going to concerts for 30+ yrs so i dont impress easily. It was kinda like watching a hybrid def tones +Tool + typo and a tad bit of Ghost. To each their own but I find it to be really boring. Sound like typical mainstream for the most part but their cross over to other genres really was a terrible idea.
I saw them live with nothing more and in this moment back in October I had never heard of them, they fucking blew me away they are so amazing they have a great live show and Vessel’s voice is orgasmic. Went for nothing more, left with 80 dollars of sleep token merch.
Im a hardcore deathcore guy. BUT Vessels voice and the synth (and overall sound) just brings a smile to my face every song and the more i listen the more i dont want to stop. Their lyric content is not forced or irrelevant like a lot of pop or rap songs you know, it hits with the listener even if the listener sees it out of context compared to the actually meaning but it still contents with people
I am glad you listened to this band! this is the kinda music you could smack your grandmother happily to. (whatever that means) I just get hyped so easily with this band! their newer releases are bangers too (grandma can confirm) I recommend The Offering.

These guys are gonna blow up this year. I can feel it. And based on their most recent 3 singles, their new album is going to be amazing. Their last album was already one of my favorite releases of 2021 and I wouldn't be surprised if the new album is one of my favorites of 2023.

Love the fact you haven't gone straight in on the newest stuff, which is mega so far. But the album this is from is a great listen. Even the instrumental version. The lead singer also is great live was lucky enough to see them as a support act before.

i have been listening to this band for the past week and words cannot explain how much peace their sound brings me. From the instruments to the vocals. Everything is literally perfect. The range the vocalist has ( dont know his name) is just ridiculous.
And thus, another Sleep Token fan is born. I happened to find them last year and have been obsessed ever since. I am glad they are finally getting the recognition they deserve. I would suggest a song, but all of the are great and vary in styles. some other favorites of mine are The Love You Want, Sugar, The Summoning and Atlantic

Bro sleep token is very under rated & definitely one of the best bands right now they incorporate many different types of music in the songs so you don't really know how it gonna go but all you know when listening to the band is that they got there own unique sound. But you & Sarah definitely gotta do blood sport or telomeres
You nailed it with Type O Negative, but I would add in equal elements of The Cure, Nine Inch Nails, and maybe some Sisters of Mercy and it creates quite a beautiful and impressive musical monster here. Great reaction man!
I found them last year and have been totally obsessed with their music ever since. You should definitely check Hypnosis, The offering and Atlantic next. The singer of Lorna Shore, Will Ramos has also made a cover from Hypnosis (he does also cleans on that...😍)
Saw Sleep Token live at Bloodstock Festival in 2022 and they're amazing, Vessel is hypnotic on the stage and the level of detail in both live & recorded tracks is second to none. Would definitely recommend The Summoning, Blood Sport (especially from The Room Below) & Chokehold but so many of their earlier tracks are immense too!

Hypnosis cover by will ramos. I didn’t exactly like the sleep token version. But will ramos’s cover made me start listening to their newer songs and now im here for it.
Seen them live last week - supported by Northlane who were very hard to follow as they were very intense and catchy sounding. So i recommend giving them a listen. Sleep token were good at what they do but the songs were very similar sounding.

Absolute masterpiece of music! This was the first song I heard from them and it got me addicted. They made it to my number 3 artist last year within about 6 months. The Offering was my most played song and favorite of theirs so far. The Love You Want is another good one that is a bit slower. The new songs that have been coming out seem quality and the live videos I have watched also seem really good. You have to check out the Hypnosis drum playthrough after you see a few more songs. They are such a good band and deserve all the attention.

They used to be quite an underground, niche band before, but with the release of their new single The Summoning, which has 3 million listens on Spotify in just a few weeks, they had a massive boom and I'm so proud of them! ❤You should definitely check out The Summoning, it's a good introduction into everything this band can do - the genre mixing, amazing vocals both soft and harsh, and a little twist at the end.
I saw them last night in Glasgow, and easily they have been one of the best bands I've ever seen live. I reckon they're going to get big FAST now.

Been a sleep token fan for the past 3 years and I highly reccomend listening to some of their older stuff before progressing to the new releases. Higher, The Offering and Hypnosis are some of the main ones that stand out. Keep doing what you're doing bro 🤘

Seen them a few months ago not knowing what to expect from them and all i can say the live performance was magnetic i couldnt look away it was entrancing and lulling you into another world then bammm! With the heavy and i was floored . Ive been going to concerts for 30+ yrs so i dont impress easily. It was kinda like watching a hybrid def tones +Tool + typo and a tad bit of Ghost. Alex youre right these guys will be big.

Im a hardcore deathcore guy. BUT Vessels voice and the synth (and overall sound) just brings a smile to my face every song and the more i listen the more i dont want to stop. Their lyric content is not forced or irrelevant like a lot of pop or rap songs you know, it hits with the listener even if the listener sees it out of context compared to the actually meaning but it still contents with people

These guys are gonna blow up this year. I can feel it. And based on their most recent 3 singles, their new album is going to be amazing. Their last album was already one of my favorite releases of 2021 and I wouldn't be surprised if the new album is one of my favorites of 2023.

Love the fact you haven't gone straight in on the newest stuff, which is mega so far. But the album this is from is a great listen. Even the instrumental version. The lead singer also is great live was lucky enough to see them as a support act before.

i have been listening to this band for the past week and words cannot explain how much peace their sound brings me. From the instruments to the vocals. Everything is literally perfect. The range the vocalist has ( dont know his name) is just ridiculous.
And thus, another Sleep Token fan is born. I happened to find them last year and have been obsessed ever since. I am glad they are finally getting the recognition they deserve. I would suggest a song, but all of the are great and vary in styles. some other favorites of mine are The Love You Want, Sugar, The Summoning and Atlantic

It's a little hard to enjoy the music of you can't make sense of it. That's like trying to read a book in a different language but you only know how to interpret English. I mean hey if u like it good on u every band needs fans. Bro sleep token is very under rated & definitely one of the best bands right now they incorporate many different types of music in the songs so you don't really know how it gonna go but all you know when listening to the band is that they got there own unique sound. But you & Sarah definitely gotta do blood sport or telomeres
You nailed it with Type O Negative, but I would add in equal elements of The Cure, Nine Inch Nails, and maybe some Sisters of Mercy and it creates quite a beautiful and impressive musical monster here. Great reaction man!
I found them last year and have been totally obsessed with their music ever since. You should definitely check Hypnosis, The offering and Atlantic next. The singer of Lorna Shore, Will Ramos has also made a cover from Hypnosis (he does also cleans on that...😍)

Saw Sleep Token live at Bloodstock Festival in 2022 and they're amazing, Vessel is hypnotic on the stage and the level of detail in both live & recorded tracks is second to none. Would definitely recommend The Summoning, Blood Sport (especially from The Room Below) & Chokehold but so many of their earlier tracks are immense too!

Sugar, Fall For Me, the Billie Eilish cover, the list really goes on. I love that they have such an extensive back catalouge for me to binge, but I wish I had heard about them sooner!
Sleep Token is gonna be your new binge band. Guaranteed. If I had to recommend a next song to listen to, it’d be Hypnosis, The Summoning or The Offering (I like their heavier stuff) but honestly you can’t go wrong with anything of theirs.
Hypnosis cover by will ramos. I didn’t exactly like the sleep token version. But will ramos’s cover made me start listening to their newer songs and now im here for it.
Seen them live last week - supported by Northlane who were very hard to follow as they were very intense and catchy sounding. So i recommend giving them a listen. Sleep token were good at what they do but the songs were very similar sounding.

It kinda sucks that you can't point to one exceptional part of this band because they all are soo damn fantastic ;) Drummer is the beast, but so is guitar and jesus christ this vocal!! All beautiful.
This was the first song I heard from them and it got me addicted. They made it to my number 3 artist last year within about 6 months. The Offering was my most played song and favorite of theirs so far. The Love You Want is another good one that is a bit slower.
The new songs that have been coming out seem quality and the live videos I have watched also seem really good.
You have to check out the Hypnosis drum playthrough after you see a few more songs. They are such a good band and deserve all the attention.
The way I would describe them is like a movie trailer. ALL of their music sounds highly produced and like it should be in a movie trailer.
