    I use this method only when the traffic is busy. In a quiet traffic, I prefer to use the traditional (90 degree) method, because it gives me more time to do reverse maneuver which I enjoy. Thanks again for your video on the traditional method; I learn much, especially the reference points.

    Hey man, i'm curious.. when you manoeuvre at a 45 degrees away from the bay, how much allowance do you have to give to prevent your car's bonnet from swinging towards the object in front of you when you reverse full lock shortly after? For example, the red van. From the video, the front view seems like it was so close and it might actually hit the object Infront of you when you reverse full lock to the left. Do you have any tips to help me overcome this fear of hitting cars infront when I reverse in full lock at a 45 degree method?
    Thank you so much and happy 2019!

    I hate this "if you're not in the bay drive forward" the test centre that I did my test didn't have any bays in front so I was unable to drive forward and reverse back and I ended up failing my test at the beginning because of this. I'm looking for a video that teaches you how to reverse bay park in a one lay road that has no bays in front and it seems to be impossible to find.

    • @worlddriving
      @worlddriving  3 роки тому

      You shouldn't drive into the bays in front but just pull forward enough to then readjust your car back in :)

    • @OfficialTashika
      @OfficialTashika 3 роки тому +1

      @@worlddriving my instructor has been teaching me to drive forward and reverse back to fix it when I mess up. He didn’t put any effort into teaching me how to do it correctly first time and he knows the test centre didn’t have any bays in front. It’s clear he wanted me to fail from the start, I’m not using him anymore. I bought my own car recently so I’ll just practise myself. Some instructors are honestly dickhead and all they want is your money.
      I also realised that they teach the 90 degree method because it’s so much harder than the 45 degree method and pupils have a harder time learning it and a less change of passing. The 90 method isn’t practical no one does it in real life. I practised reversing into a bay in my own car last night, there were cars parked on both side so I was worried but I did the 45 degree method and parked first time with no problem. So fuck what these instructors teach it’s al bullshit, I’m doing what’s best for me from now on.

    If even there’s cars coming she said it’s just better to wait for them to go then I can set off. She Said I should signal if a car was infront of me parked as well - in case they were going to move off and so on ?what are your thoughts on this ?

    if i try to park on the right side, i try to align my right side view mirror with the 2nd line of the spot i'm trying to park in when i turn the steering wheel all the way left to get a 45 degree angle. but this ref pt doesn't seem to work. i reverse way outside of the spot i want to get in. maybe i try aligning the middle of my front right passenger window in this case, with the 2nd line the spot i want to park in to get a 45 degree angle. By turning the steering wheel all the way to the left. Then when i'm at a 45 degree angle. I turn my steering wheel all the way to the right and reverse into the spot. let's see if this method works.
