Morning fish early August (part 1)

Got invited to fish a fun lake with some friends. This is a unique lake with amazing structure and cover both shallow and deep. The fish has a huge bass population but the size is small in general. It's a fun lake to fish because they will eat and there's plenty of fish to target but you still have to figue out what they want and patern them on a given day. This time they wanted loud top water first thing but wouldn't eat a frog at all, all day. What they really wanted was a swim jig with a craw trailer. It didn't take me long to dial them in and I caught a pile of fish with my Weapons of bass destruction swimjig and Zman goat trailer. The trailer took a beating and I had to change it sides but the Zman baits are legit and this thing has now caught 100 fish, been on 2 different lures and keeps catching fish! The durability saves lots of time and money.
