one of my favorite older films. I'm from Philly so the setting feels familiar. great story line. Cage and Modine are excellent in this film. the soundtrack is my favorite movie soundtrack. so moody, atmospheric.many rhythmic parts. great for drummers. suggestions: get familiar with Gabriel's Security album. watch the movie Birdy, then listen to the sound track with headphones or good sound system with lights off and no interruptions. this soundtrack should be quite impressionable
I saw the movie probably thirty years ago. Seem like it was kind of arty, but it features one of Nicolas Cage's earliest performances. And Peter's music works well in it.
Its all reused mTrial. No So. Mainly Daniel Lanois did it. Peter has almost nothing to do. Its a very good record. Bit that box is toi much. Themovie is ok. But not very good. Not the best of Alan Parker. Peter is dissapointing me more and more. Sell sell sell. Very poor album I/O. 😮😮😮
Dressing the Wound - my favorite track from the album

This came out long before So, so it won't have any recycled material from So on it
He used much material from 4 on the album.
One photo of Gabriel looks similar to Neil Tennant from the Pet Shop Boys.
The movie is fantastic - half the soundtrack elements are reworkings of songs from 'Melt' or Security.
