Been into chillies and spicy food for many years, but don't do the super duper hots... Respect to Sam for having the courage to give it a go! You mates of him (possibly) teasing him - go ahead and try one or a reaper yourself ;) Have to admit, it was funny though :D
Totally agree with Felix Lux here. I learned that growing chillies for consumption is reasonable only say below 200 000 or so.. I am very fine with small chillies, jalapenos or habaneros. i still might end up growing some super hot here and there for botanical purpose :D or to give away to friends. Stay spicy guys.
Props to Sam. If you were born with those regular old sensitive capsaicin receptors, like most of us, the agony brought on by superhots is almost panic inducing. Brings grown men to their knees (and hands)..
Hello ^^ Doing push up help to decrease the pain(any move body weight to be precise) The oil of the chilli coat the mounth and stick all around, to stop that ; you needa thing to absorb oil and replace it(like bread and condensed milk) great day :)
There was another chilli before this....but unfortunately, the footage got corrupted, so straight from the Piri Piri to this one. The one that I lost the footage for was the Yaki Blue Fawn (about the heat of a really hot habanero)
This is my favorite, I'm from America (state of Maine) I've been growing my dragons breath for 2 yrs now(I had 12 tiny ones but my kittens dug them all up and cleaning house I found one left. Replanted it and it produced finally. It started in North Carolina USA. And made its way all the way up in Maine USA (The reaper is very nice we use it in honey and jams) very nice spice with the sweetness . (The sweetness kills some of the burn but keeps the heat if you know what I mean). But I finally had my first sample of my plant. It's just like the video, the pepper is insanely hot. But it's a creeper. It's instantly hot then it just keeps building and building. I love it, I will never eat a whole one though I feel that's dangerous. I will say though I'm 35yrs old my daughter is 13 and we shared pieces of it (she's like her dad 😉) and she was a champion. It does burn like a mofo (we drank sugar water instead of milk) the originally Scoville unit is measured in sprays of sugar water (hence the crazy number like 2.4million) milk works but drinking it will upset the stomach and make you puke. If you use milk swish it around don't swallow it
Sam is a good friend I know some of those peppers have to be painful I love it when you get a panel of tasters I love the facial expressions great video
Poor Sam 😂 I feel bad for laughing.. he is in pain and chugging down the milk and Charlie barely shows any reaction, just mentions that his mouth is on fire. Like André, my husband gets hiccups as well from the extremely hot chillies.
I appreciate that the fruits are somewhat small! I strive to breed an extra small fruited super hot, so one fruit will be a manageable bolus of heat...
Guess I'm not going to grow those. :) I have a saying that I think applies here. "Life is always more fun when it happens to someone else." I had tears in my eyes for some reason.
Maybe different to everyone but for me when I eat hot wings I have to sign a waiver for, fresh celery really cools it down when I start to lose it. Ten times better than milk or ice cream.
Seems to me that Sam not only got the largest piece, but one that had more capsaicin glands or pith, the hottest part of a chilli, attached to it compared with the other guys. Can't be certain, of course -- just going by the look. And people handle the heat of chillies differently. In any case, I'm sure it was hot as *bleep*.
Didn't realise they were called dragons breath because they are from Wales 😂 I am also from Wales and into my chillies and spicy food so I'm definitely going to have to eat one for my channel 👍
i found the best thing for something spicy is Mio the drink flavoring actually really helps if you just make a drink and hold it in your mouth. if you have anything really spicy like in this video it will come back but the relief is Real
CC, this is my personal experience over several years. The only thing that I have found to relieve the heat from capsicum is hot water, coffee hot or hotter. I have been pepper sprayed by kind police officers, long story. I have found washing my hands or rinsing my mouth or face with the hottest water I can take. Peace Luke T
I've been floored by eating raw peppers less intense than this one. Struck down in fetal position, crying and praying for the hurt to end. Andre & Charlie kept their cool, but Sam really displayed the agony of messing with superhots.
I have not tried the dragons breath yet but I have tried most of the others, but Im so gen x brainwashed to walk it off that i don't do anything but wait the pain out. lol
thats funny... Andre's used to it, poor sam just got baptized. Watching this, one thing that might be neat to add to your videos is a timer tracking how long the burning sensation lasts. obviously thats a subjective measure... Andre wouldve counted at like 2 min. Sam's brother probably around 4. Sam at around 10 min.
I'm one that denies the existence of Dragons Breath. If I recall, the Welsh farmers chili was a misshapen/unripe 7pot or something. It was bogus to lure customers to an event
HELLO... I have grown Dragons Breath this year.. or was sold as one anyway... but mine are about the same size as a reaper or seven pot with I also have.. are DBreath supposed to be this small..??
hey chilichump i have a question, i have 3 fermentations just over 2 weeks these are my first. in the beginning they would overflow a bit, now im having to add brine every other day. can you explain
Hey Chris. I would need more information. I am assuming you used an airlock. And the bottom of the airlock was touching the surface of the brine. With the pressure created by the CO2, it would push the liquid up through the airlock. Better place to contact me would be via my website (or other social media) www.chillichump.com/contact .
Hi Christian, I actually sell sauce now from my store (www.chillichump.com/shop)! But for a small number of bottles, eBay is your best choice: for larger bottles - ebay.to/2UbvvKf3 or the smaller sized ones - ebay.to/38vdJWL143
Fresh peppers are so much worse than even the very hottest sauces. They might not be technically as hot but it just hurts way more, least to me it does!
if it helps anyone, on the odd occasion i eat something hotter than expected i just keep telling myself in 15 minuets this will be a memory, then count it down, ive broken a few bones over the years and at the time its the most painful thing ever, im sure anyone that done the same can agree over time you forget how bad it was, chillis are no different, now do i want to eat a dragons breath or have my arm broken?
There are some Capsicum Chinense varieties that are far less spicy than this one, that should be manageable. But breeding out the heat...I'm not sure anyone has really considered doing that. Normally it is about increasing the heat
Breeding out the heat is something i want to do because you along with other people say they taste good but the heat overwhelms the flavor. I know it's possible but i don't know how to do it. Do you know how i would do that? If not, do you know anyone who does?
Hi meneer you nearly killed Sam lol. I recently got some super hot sauces, Trinidad Scorpion, Naga Viper, 7 pot, and Ghost, very hot but the flavors are so different from the normal stuff we generally find here. Habanero is hottest you normally find. Love how some of the super hot chillies creep up on you.
2 years after the fact, but, for anyone wanting to get into the super hots, milk isn't going to help you. It's just going to make you feel sick. Then you'll blame the chili for it. If you don't know if you can handle the burn, maybe try a cooler chili. I dove in and take it from me, you don't want to do that.
@@ChilliChump, is something from UA-cam. Last Sunday I didn't get any notification when your live started or even due to start, so I missed like half of it.

Dragons breath is a myth. Not even available anywhere. This looks to be a 7Pot infinity?
Do you ever try condesed milk to stop the rush from the chillies ?
Great day ;)
ice cubes provide immediate relief, but AS SOON as its gone, so is the heat back FULL strength (and worse)
Looking at Sam's piece, it looked to have more of the placenta than the others'. That's brutal. 😂
We said Sir! 💯🏆
Andre cannot be from this planet. Incredible how he seems to shake it off
Him praying to the chili gods made my morning. Thanks Sam!!! 🌶🔥🤣
You should video them the next morning, that's when they really get me. 😂

I was like, "No Sam, don't chug the milk!"
If it's any comfort to Sam, any chilli he tries from now on will be less hot...
That's a great way to look at it!
Next time on ChilliChump... Pepper X!
Wow!! Thats a bit of a step up from what he has tried already.

Legend you three! Especially if you had already seen Chilli Chumps video of the Dragons Breath!!
I had to watch it again looking forward to more of these videos 😂
You killed the poor lad 😹
That chilli is like have Satan himself take a dump in your mouth and somehow Andre just sits there chilled as anything. 😮

This was amazing!! i can relate to the pain walk from spicy food
Drink a mixture of water and sugar to get rid of spice. It’s a trick a waitress in Peru taught me. Works great.
Andre has the iron tongue! Poor Sam!
Wow! Charlie is completely unfazed!

This pepper gave Johnny Scoville some surprise. A guy who eats reapers like apples. I cannot imagine the heat of this thing.

I have the dragons breath Moruga and stinger can you tell the difference if there is any?
I question whether the dragon's breath is truly s new variety....or just something else that has been renamed.

You would need to experiment with cross breeding, with various peppers. I have a video showing the process: ua-cam.com/video/58PJTo_5JNs/v-deo.html
Habanadas is a heatless Habanero
thehippyseedcompany.com/product/habanada-habanero/
Where can you get a legit Dragon's breath seeds or a plant?
Hi good luck
Well at least he will be able to tolerate less hot peppers in the future
Can't find the live stream of you eating the dragon's breath
It should have come up as a card in the beginning of this video. But here is a direct link ua-cam.com/video/XKuBGz4oYR4/v-deo.html

The poor spider! You smushed it! ☹️..Y?
Seed my reaper in 2 week and it's sprouted, seed my chocolate bhulat and dragon breath a few days after that, nothing yet.

Milk doesn't help very well. The best thing I have found is to take a tablespoon of sugar and grind it against your tongue and roof of your mouth.
