@@shalansharma443 putting it on hold for a while, the key point would be that they are just the same as a regular Sherman and chi ha but with rockets, there really aren't a whole lot of other differences except that the hachi is terrible at turning. And with 5.2, lots of things will be changing and all these stats will also be outdated.
Selected twin HMGs on the LVT because of the plane meta, but once I realized that their more suited for infantry I was able to drop 20-25 kills per spawn
Tried out the dual machine guns for the first time today, dind't see anything fun in the LVT when they first released the pacific. Went 120/4 in my first game.
i dont think the hmg version needs a nerf considering that their is usually half the enemy team using assault class and just 1 assualt player can take you out if they really wanna nerf it they need to nerf assault class as well
Totally agree, on top of that; especially playing as the japanese where you have just 1 or 2 tanks and the usa atleast has 4x more, playing a lvt with aa you can kill a tank but its very very hard using ap rounds. Lots of duck and cover and luck needs to be on your side. The aa version is not good against planes neither, a reasonable pilot can easily take you out.
I think the hmg build makes the amphibious tanks occupy the role of the LAV from previous battlefields, so its is not OP, but definitely strong, imagine it being added in a normandie map against tigers. It would get 2 shot by the turret
I had a game yesterday on Iwo Jima, conquest iirc. Or it was breakthrough one of the two. This is about the LVT and well, I love the 37mm cannon, it is very easy to lead shots with it on enemy airplanes, especially when they fly in a straight line at you or over you. Might've downed the same player three times. I do like that it can go fast on land and has a decent speed on the water. As always, it is a joy to watch these videos.
bit weird seeing the Ka-mi with the floats attached driving on land, realistically those would come off when they made land as it restricted movement on land
I went straight for the HMG variants as soon as I leveled them up and I love it. Getting accused of hacking sooo often because of the ability to shred people as soon as you spot them.
If you rush to the A point on Iwo Jima while defending and hop on a 6-pounder you can annihilate entire squads because it two-shots landing vehicles. I got an octakill with it last night.
I have a different built for the ka-mi. Engine upgrade, 37mm cannon and ap shells, and still get the flamethrower for close infantry great against tanks and infantry at all ranges though no defense against planes but the corsairs are usually much less aggressive than zeros anyway
The bar is to scale with the size of the soldier, so if you look at the green bar and if it is around 2 of those soldiers wide, that means you can get a one hit kill if you land your shot there.
Kind of like when the launch AA tanks were good against infantry, I’m sure these variants will get a nerf. Knowing dice they’ll be adjusted to near uselessness like those tanks too.
I love AA 50 cal conversion, quick kill infantry + plane killer. But it has weakness for auto armor piercing, quick overheat and 1 hit per bullet for enemy tank
Good and informative series. I honestly think that the AA specialization is a bit useless at the moment, cause you loose you main turret the coaxial mg and and the third equipment slot for the capability to be more effective against plains. But for plains a lot of assault guys run around with the Fliegerfaust and one hit deals more then any AA turret or tank in the game at the moment. So why bother... If they balance the Fliegerfaust to much it may be viable build but at the moment I don't think so. And I honestly think that dice should have given us multiple slots for different tank setups. Because all build differ so much more then for the German and British tanks and plains which you just could build up to your own preferences.
It's far from useless. I held the defending team at bay at A in the second sector on Iwo Jima with it, getting around 50 kills on infantry before we secured the sector. Pretty much the rest of the team was trying to get into B, it was just me at A.

But for the overall tactical use at the moment where the fliegerfaust is so strong and every assault can carry it, it is tactically of more use to go anti tank with amphibious tanks because that is a thread that is still in the game. And I think on both pacific maps there are 3 possible tanks at each starting point and two flags that each gives an extra tank of the controlling side, or so. So there can be a lot of hostile tanks and tank killer can still be the best setup in this
I have pretty much focused my amphibious tanks as anti infantry killers. Ka Mi with 120mm derp and flamethrower is hilarious! LVT I went 75mm Howitzer because I find the Japanese cluster together a lot and big blast radius equals multi kills.
I dont think it needs a nerf being how powerful assualt players are and planes are, it really matters on the players situations awareness with their squad I use the aa build to flank and if it gets nerfed dice will over do it and make it a POS
I am not a big fan of DICE's nerf tactics, I think a mild nerf is sufficient. Right now I just feel dirty using it. Going 80-1 or what not with minimal effort is kind of a definition of op imo.

I wouldnt mind it haveing a armor reduction being as its amphibious it needs to be light anyway and say like the boys at rifle which was used (in limited numbers) in the pacific theatre against Japanese tanks do a little more damage as long with the planes 20mm long range cannons do damage as well I could see this as a accurate nerf imo but id like to hear your thoughts as well

hi, i have a question i once faced againt an LVT that fire a canon first and mg later like its in a single firing mode (no need to change weapon) so every click will shot canon followed by mg, than if u click + hold, it will be canon and mg continued until another click what was that build? thanks in advance
What cannon is best for tanks? At rounds or at cannon? are the rounds more of a balance between infantry and tank is the cannon solely for tanks and nothing else? What is a good build for infantry that can hold its own against tanks?
I'm not sure about the need of a nerf. As you say it's VERY effective against infantry, but I don't know if you've only selected choice clips, but I've found the AA build to be the epitome of a 'glass cannon'. I first chose the build wanting to see how it would do against aircraft compared with the other forms of AA in the game. I found it to be quite horrible against planes when taken on its own. The same can be said for taking on other armor. Basically this build is great against planes and tanks when you have lots of support in their destruction. One-on-one you will lose every fight with another tank, unless they are completely oblivious (even if you get the jump on them). This thing is amazing at laying waste to infantry, but again, it's quite easily destroyed by one assaulter.
So the AAMGs have the same damage model as the Vickers and british vehicle mounted VGO? (58-34) That's insane. Or at least the old Vickers/VGO. Pretty sure the stationary and roof mounted MGs lost quite a lot of their minimum damage in the last patch in return for better accuracy and muzzle velocity. The Japanese HMG also seems to be pretty garbage compared with the HMG34. Still, can't wait to test them out. PS: does the RoF upgrade work on the AA variant? I'm worried to pick it in case dice forgot to make it apply to the MG build.

Tyler Franco Hard to aim right, but can oneshot anything from across the map if you have the aim. And the best part, its completely silent, so no prewarning before impact.

You only get the specialized version (the one you've made yourself) if you spawn it from the menu, NOT if you take it from the carrier when you spawn into the game. If you take it from the carrier when inside the game, it's just a standard version.
These have lighter armors but in order to deal the maximum damage, the angle has to be more acute. I should have been more clear, there is a hidden material modifier that basically says light tanks have weaker armor and takes more damage even if they have the same angle multiplier.
No nerf needed. It sucks if you have to throw 1 million bullets against a soldier to hurt him a bit on the thumb. There's still the option to kill this vehicle with a main battletank, the bombers, a djihad jeep, tnt..... That's what I liked in Battlefield 1943, the tanks and the planes weren't pussies like in BF3 and BF4.
@@AzuraProductions In my opinion the tanks are ok how they are now. The planes could be stronger against other planes. If you are a beginner in flying you have nearly no chance to shoot down an enemy plane, because you cannot follow them and they can repair it all the time. So you don't make points to upgrade your plane. If you are not in the better team with better pilots, it is senseless to take off.
Now DICE needs to nerf? This is were UA-cam goobers wreck the game. This whole balancing act shit needs to stop. So it's okay for you to rack up kills , destroy planes & just wreck the heck out of the enemy. But if anyone else ranks up there tank and discovers this it's not okay! ROTFLMAO

Yesterday I went 80-1 with them. As long as you can avoid a head on fight witha tank you should be good
Yeah last night I went 144-0 with my he dual hmg. their greatest weakness is enemy armor and stationary cannons.. planes can do a lot of damage too.

Try to flank the flank if you have the opportunity, it does some really good damage on the rear.

Can't get the planes out the sky with the AA for nothing, the flakpanzer is dangerous but this..... ehhhh. Melts infantry though.

I don't understand this mentality either of extreme hate towards opinion. How is calling for a nerf making it ok for me and not ok for others. How does it have to do with who discovers what? If something is op and it gets nerfed, I don't get to use it either. 🤷

The game just started picking up steam in the last two months with new content. UA-camRS just squash any excitement that can move the game forward and let some players enjoy it. It also seems that my opinion as battlefield player doesn't matter to you.
What do you mean your opinion doesn't matter, you never stated your opinion on the game, you just said I can't use the word nerf. Why not, nerf is not a binary term, never did I call to make it completely useless. I'd be furious if they did. What I want is fun gameplay for everyone and nothing broken that would actually cause the new players to just say.. bf5 sucks why is this one guy who never drove a tank before get this specialization for the first time and casually go 80-1 (happened to like 4 of the people who I play with who never use tanks) and they all agreed that it is op.
