Usually when its an 'AA' vehicle
It's actually Anti-Infantry
"Flakpanzer" approves this.
And AT tank with armor piercing rounds which makes it the Anti everything tank
The Russians used their AA as anti infantry as well.
It's the same for the LVT, I usually just use the AA guns on them to clear multiple squads easily in an objective
Team repair should be on every week challenge, then supports would do the job.
The repair tool is so bad in bfv
Or just have it grant quite a bit of XP
They should add the repairtorch in assault and change it for the TNT as a nerf to assault and inprove teamplay
I sometimes forget its even a thing. Engineer class should come back in the next bf

LVT 50CAL does the same, had a match with 103K 2D, just really need to hide from enemy tanks
LVT is a wonder weapon in this map for US to push up until the cave (run like hell and change position if you see Type 5 gun XD)

Nah. They're changing the ttk again and now there's a bug that sometimes when you die you just stay on the ground and can't skip revive or redeploy and you are forced to leave the match and you lose all the points, just like the invisible players and so on. They just can't fix the game lol
@Michael Parissi It happened to me 4 or 5 times, it uncommon but when it happens it's kinda annoying

i was using a half track thing, you know the tank destroyer. While i was shooting at the tanks this asshat of a teammate went into the drivers seat and rammed it into an enemy tank.
I discovered this with the LVT version when i went 60-0 on Iwo Jima. Only way to stop it is if a zero lands two large bombs and instakills you.
This thing is so OP it's beyond absurd. Like I was laughing the entire time destroying people. Although they might keep it this way as you're completely useless against Tanks. Also this thing is so hard to get angles on people as it sits so high.
Noone ever stole my vehicle, they could have had plenty of times. Players are pretty decent in my experience.
I don't use vehicles much. I do recall in BF4, hopping out for 1 second to repair and someone steals the tank right away.
im still traumatized from bf4 so i leave my squad when i repair so no one spawns on me and takes my tank lol

Bit OP against infantry for sure but it does nothing against armor. It’s also a massive target and easy to get max damage angle shots on. It should be toned down slightly but I hope they don’t make it useless. It’s really great when you and a buddy run one and a Sherman or Type 97 for an anti tank and anti infantry combo.
It does some good damage against armor. As long as u have the anti tank rounds

and you can destroy tanks with it it’s a lot harder to do but it’s possible I have done it you just have to be smart on how you engage them

When Al Sundan released, I had both tracks disabled on my Churchill so they both negated eachother
Personally o prefer the flame torch tank gun (with Armor Pierce) combo. Versatile. Except against Aircraft. The flamethrower is good against armor too.
And I never get out of armor anymore, unless no one is around. I've just had my stuff stolen too much. Either reviving, repairing, or building supply stations.
I've had people (PS4) using the AA on both LVT style tanks mess with me and kill me. But when I do it, it doesn't work.
And I absolutely hate that field repair for the Sherman. I love my tank skirts, and my big gun. But that field repair really messes it up.
I can honestly say that since switching to PC 2 weeks ago, players are a whole lot more team-oriented and and generally thoughtful of others with revivals, ammo resupplying and squad focused... even with no comms.
There not bad either of the two. Just sucks when you climb up the rocks you get a bullseye on you like size Rhode island. You can't see anything till you flatten out. The double guns do some damage I'll give you that.
In almost every bf game I've played I used mobile AA aginst infantry primarily
The AA tanks in bf3 were pretty trash against infantry.
I love those tanks. Its actually slightly better then the greyhound since you can get 1. The AP rounds, 2. The AA, 3. The faster turret turn speed, AND on top of all that, they both have a 10% rate of fire increase.
The hmg’s are really good for anyone who hasn’t upgraded these tanks yet. They melt infantry and for some odd reason, if you get behind a tank they do 70-80 dmg before overheat with the ap upgrade. The howitzers and 75mm upgraded guns are really underwhelming, you’ll lose to any Sherman/type 97 If you don’t have the jump on them and they don’t have the armour to tank hits. I upgraded it on the American amphibious tank, haven’t used it yet. I don’t get too many opportunities to score vehicles, lots of people wait for them but I only get them when they happen to be available. I get tanks more than airplanes tho. I’m really enjoying the flamethrower on the Sherman, helps the enemy not get too close to the tank :) I’d recommend people help be gunners on tanks because it’s a good way to help you level up on the tank you’re using without having to wait to get one yourself.

I love using the AP shells on those to harass tanks, I believe they do one damage per bullet so it will take a while but the Tanks never expect it
If BFV released with this kind of content we would not be complaining. Glad to see the devs revive and polish this game. Good on em!
Crap, party is over. Most fun I’ve had since the Gas Tank in BF1. Sure to get a nerf now that players like Art are posting videos of it.

The second i used the lvt 50cal AA Variant, my jaw dropped to the floor. I rarely saw tankers with the build seeing that they are mainly engaging armor but yeah fun while it lasted. :'(

i can’t believe he gave the tank back. i never get out. even to repair resupply stations. teammates always feel my tank and then suck.
I’ve been using the American Duel 50 cal variant of this for a week and it’s lethal against ground troops and aircraft, and it sounds absolutely epic....Easily the best sounding weapon in Battlefield history.
Its good to have a good squadmate who is not camping and only care for himself. If he camps and contributes a lot for the team is okay, if he just camp and die all the time then fk them. This type of squadmate is very rare and having them is like a gold.

Havent leveled up the kami yet but the lvt is badass with those twin 50 cals. 3 shot kills on infantry laser beam. And the biggest advantage is no one is using them
I believe I read an article that said this amphibious tank like vehicle was reserved for by the Japanese for the anticipated 1945 operation downfall invasion of Japan
that makes sense. was wondering why a few players using those tanks were 1 framing me as i thought they were just using their secondary.
The thing about that tank is that it does in 2 shots if the Sherman is using that Armor Piercing shell.
I personally have been using this for weeks and it's my favorite. I think the twin 50's on the American side is a tad better. But both easily put up 50-60 kills per game. Love the option. I do usually get a buddy to tag along for cover heals
Experienced battlefield players are the best. They know not to just sit at the back of the map sniping and to actually try get the flags or taking them back. Knowing different strategies and of course teamwork
In my opinion nothing is broken. I prefer fast TTK for me dying and for me killing I like it fast

that's just great, while Ka-Mi tank is doing some kamikaze (for a tank), tanks on our side is probably still camping in our base, so it's still infantry's job to destroy the damn thing

If there is anything can be called a drawback on KAMI, that might be the depression angle of its weapon is literally zero, and it has no front gunner. Everything else about this armored vehicle is GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. I feel like both AAs in pacific maps are extremely good against infantry.

After an year of avoiding Assaults, this is one Tank (and LVT) you can push and payback in style. But the big question for you - Is this OP?
Have you tried in the planes the propeller that lets you go an extra 200 meters up?
I fear the ttk "bullet sponge mode plus" even more... snipers are larfin there heads off they efectivley get a buff

I prefer the LVT myself because my buddy’s can use a flamethrower and lmg that look forward, as well as me being able to use the 2 50 Cal. Hmgs

I badly don’t want Dice to change the TTK. I’m sick of the flux and flow of this game. I’d love for it to just naturally progress.
I think they should just buff the accuracy of the plane 20mm to reduce the splash damage
Also, there are always people building anti-tank piles everywhere in the map even it will block the way of allied tanks’ retreating routes. I am not gonna call these guys idiots but I definitely can’t be happy with that.

Planes are "OP" aswell so I dont mind flieger right now, expect on normal maps.

This tank has AT capabilities, cus remember it still has the AP rounds, but you have to pump the rounds on the back of a tank, good thing it's fast isn't it?

Did you feel like tanks in BFV have sacrificed their mobility (compared with tanks in BF4), but did not get any buff?
The AP shells do ALOT of damage to tanks if u get to shoot rear.
I just hate that people with this insane skill in tanks and planes always end up on enemy teams and nobody, absolutely NOBODY, helps you destroy them with panzerfausts or flingerfausts, people are just snipping birds or whatever and half of the team is outside the objective areas and we lose all objectives. Seriously, most people playing this kind of games have zero skill or tactical mentality.

It seems like you play a lot of Battlefield V! I wish I could but I just haven't found a weapon or play style that I can get into. I also tried playing Battlefield 4 but there's something about it that isn't fun for me. I used to think that I was a Battlefield fan because I loved Bad Company 2, which I understand now that I'm not a Battlefield fan, just BC2. Just something I wanted to write because I was feeling sad.

Ok so, two-hit with a machine gun. This is what the MG 42 could be like if it were balanced by “Bullet Type” haha. Imagine a 2 hit MG 42...omg haha
I wouldn’t mind a hardcore mode with that balance. It would be more like a Hell Let Loose balance. Sneaking around. Whole squad mowed down by an MG42.... at the same time, if you sneak up with an SMG, you could clear an entire bunker by yourself. Both play styles can be rewarding.
I’d like to see a map other than pacific storm that actually gives a use to the ka mi.

honestly I'm wondering why not everyone is affected by those 100+ pingers joining servers. Some people keep on trashing everyone and some people instantly go from easily top fragging the server by some distance, to not being able to get a hit pouring whole mags in absolutely clueless players with dead on perfect crosshair placement. Can only watch recordings and be amazed. Fiber, dsl, always low and stable ping.. doesnt matter, instantly cant do anything
Spawning one of these within the first half of the game is a horrible idea, the US can have up to 6 tanks

Went with the duel .50s on the LVT and went 124-2 on Iwo Jima breakthrough. Afterwards a salty enemy went out of his way to bitch on and off for the next twelve hours with three different accounts. Gotta love Xbox XD

Yes! I was planning to include them but I had already started editing and had all the clips.
I wanted to include them as top plays but I feel as if people wouldn't enjoy them that much. AA v infantry is frowned upon xD

It’s a death machine. My best was with the American LVT. 146 kills and 11 deaths. But your just about useless against enemy Tanks.

But I just looked and you can add incendiary launcher for your second slot taking away smoke wonder if I can still affect tanks good I don’t tend to use smoke anyway only for my infantry around my tank

I use same setup on the American side and get hate mail. I respond to them that infantry should die quick bc it’s two 50. cal machine guns. I think max damage should be extended to 100 meters.
I went 38-0 in one game and 49-15 in an other using the LVT variant, that pretty good for my level of skill (complete garbage and this game most of the time)
