Yeah Rugby League began in England and isn’t just played in Australia, the NRL is just their league (it’s the most popular of the domestic leagues though) - there’s also a Rugby League World Cup
@@KrustyVlogsit’s still pretty big in the north of England mainly where it started, we have the Super League. Really popular in the Pacific Islands too. Sports Explained did a really good video called Rugby Explained for American Football Fans - he explains Union and League really well, the history of them and the shared history with American football. Really recommend that one, probably the best out there
Russell Crowe is a New Zealand born , AUSTRALIAN actor , who owns the Sydney Rabbitohs team. If ya be quiet and listen very carefully fellas, Russel very easily explains the rules. Oh and by the way Rugby League is different from Rugby Union( Rugby ). Rugby League is played in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Ireland , Fiji, Samoa..
Though, he doesn't mention the 40/20 kicking rule. In general play, if a kicker is behind their 40 "yard" line and can kick it so the ball bounces out past the opponent's 20 "yard" line, they keep the ball. (i hope that explanation makes sense)
@@petethundabox5067 I said the same thing after watching the promo. They forgot 40/20 and I think line drop out. Half way restart if you kick the ball in full but anyways it’s a good promo though.

Russell Crowe is a film actor. He's played multiple roles in movies, but one of his iconic roles was playing the Roman General 'Lucius Maximus' in the Cinematic movie GLADIATOR. It would be an ideal movie for you guys to react to. As for Rugby Union, I am a big Rugby Union fan, but at the same time.... Rugby League is exciting too.
Lot of Australians love sport in general and as kids we play multiple sports. So we usually appreciate the fact it takes different skills and physical attributes to play different sports.
Russel Crowe....you guys ever watched the movie "Gladiator"? That is him - BTW, Rugby League is not just played in Australia, its played in New Zealand, Great Britain, France, PNG, The Islands of the Pacific, and several other countries as well. You guys even play it in the USA. Just do a search. In regards to game play, one thing you will notice is the action is virtually non-stop the entire 80 minutes. Its does not let up, there are no time outs, no change of teams for offense or defense, its the same players going at each other in attack and defense the entire game with only 4 players in reserve on the bench...If you do not go you will miss out on a great event that will open your eyes to something brand new and exciting. I would rather say I was there than to say, I didn't go...
One drawback of the Las Vegas ground is that's it's somewhat narrower than a normal league ground. That will make it a lot harder for the attackers to break through the defence. ☹ That might keep the scores low. Kicking the ball over the defenders will be important. (The ground is also shorter which will make it easier to gain distance)
@@davidfox3475 NFL fields are 160 feet wide which is about 49 metres. The whole stadium field is only 67 metres wide. Our standard fields alone are 68 metres wide. I've read that they'll try to widen the field to over 60 metres. Also that to 10 metre lines will be remarked down to 9.45 metres apart. Let's see what happens. 🙂
I don't follow any of these teams, but if I were going, I'd go see the Brisbane Broncos and support them. Exciting and talented. Good luck lads thanks for the reaction

As an Australian who lives and breathes NRL, you should be going for the Broncos all though i am a Penrith Panther fan, the best team in Vegas is the Broncos. Btw the Lebron of the NRL is Nathan Cleary search him up
Russell Crowe look up the movie Gladiator There are 2 games on 100 metres is 110 yards so the field is longer and wider than NFL fields not Mexico it was Sydney .You will feel the hits . League is played in England where it started in 1895 after breaking away from Union ,also played in New Zealand , Tonga Samoa Fiji and it is the National game of Papua New Guinea and also France ,they also have a competition in Canada .
I think the one thing that will surprise you is that when they say no helmets, no pads etc that we mean it and the sound you hear when they hit each other, its like two titans coming together. Especially the big boys!
will be worth going to and for everyone in the USA to experience our rugby live i'm a massive rabbitoh fan us australians hope you all enjoy our rugby league
One thing not mentioned about knock ons. If you drop the ball and goes forward, as long as it doesn't touch the ground, it's not a knock on. Pretty much if the ball goes forward after hitting a part of your body from the waist down, not a knock on. Waist up, knock on. But their is a way around that. If all that happens and the ball hits the ground for a knock on, but if it bounces off an opposing player, you can pick the ball back up and keep going and that also restarts the 6 tackles.
Brothers yous will love it. I can guarantee.. rules in place or not . Watch for the first run off the kick off . Someones runnin off the back fence and the opposite team will be looking to put on a fuckn huuuge hit. Enjoy fellas! Jealous af 🔥🤙🏽
The Nrl and RL in general, has probably gone up another level since the boom in Pasifika Participation. They've brought an element of excitement to the Nrl, and you'll most likely see a Pasifika on the end of those brutal tackles 90% of the time.
The Lebrons and Currys of the NRL have retired (Greg Inglis, Jonathan Thurston, Billy Slater). We're in a stage in the league where we have the Wembys and Chets trying to make a name for themselves. A particular player with a lot of eyes on them is Reese Walsh, the fullback (number 1) for the Brisbane Broncos. He's a popular player due to his explosive speed and agility but there's also our own Pat Maholms - Nathan Cleary the number 7 playmaker for the Penrith Panthers who's just won a 3peat and aiming for his 4th with lesser chances this season as a few key players have signed elsewhere. So this season will be one for him to cement his legacy as a GOAT in the sport.
@KrustyVlogs yeah bro I'll put it like this for you cause I'm a pretty big NBA guy and I think it'll make it a little easier for you guys to understand as well lol Lebron - a pure athlete speed, power, size and straight dominant and powerful can cover every position you gotta go with Greg Inglis, straight up beast on the field. Watch this guy if you wanna see defenders get ragdolled lol A.I - small but lethal collecting ankles and fitting through the smallest gaps and explosive first step then you gotta go with Shaun Johnson. Watch this guy for straight up footwork and speed. Curry - sharp shooter and a mastermind playmaker always on the move and trying to find weaknesses in the defense then you got to go with Jonathan Thurston (he's more of a playmaker and assists line breaks and tries and also the GOAT goal kicker but his highlights aren't as exciting tbh) 3 different playstyles and 3 of the best in their respective approaches to the game. I hope this helps 🙏 stay blessed boys
Rugby League is not just Australian. We are just the most dominant country. It's played in Europe and the South Pacific one of the teams in the Australian competition is the New Zealand warriors, and the competition is full of Tongans, Fijians, New Zealanders, New Guinean's and English. Russell Crowe he is best known for the Gladiator movie were he won the Academy award for best actor. He wasn't just a paid actor in this promo or just a League fan. He loves the South Sydney Rabbitos that much he owns them and took them from a struggling club to a consistent final proforma. He played Zeus in the last Thor movie.
Have a look at a NRL Farewell tribute to Greg Inglis an Aussie legend and you can see one of our greats. NRL is played between nations in our region like New Zealand, Fiji, Somoa, PNG, Tongs and England.
Got my bets on for this game,half-time full-time for each teams, vice versa and also tryscorers anytime multis + trys for each game 3 or more for Brisbane Bronco's eah half.
The similarities between NRL and NFL NRL 6 tackles equals NFL 4 downs Offense is about gaining momentum. In NRL the clock doesn't stop EVER between tackles/downs.
2 games on the same day one after the other. Brisbane was in the grand final last year that’s the NRL version of the Super Bowl. All 4 teams are in the top 8 best teams in the comp so it should be fast and an exiting 2 games. Guaranteed big hits and aggression.
All the way from Papua New Guinea. Mate, good video boys. Loved it. And if you guys do go, watch my boy in the number 1 jersey that plays for the Brisbane Broncos. His name is Reece "The Lighning" Walsh. That kid is a freak! He's the Steph Curry in Rugby League. They'll be playing second game. Sydney Roosters Vs Brisbane Broncos.
Boys, rugby league is not just played in Australia, there’s around 70 countries that play this great game, including your own very national American league, including your own international team, know as the Tomahawks!
@@KrustyVlogs They play IN the NRL, it's Australia's domestic comp with a Kiwi team in the comp. The other main comp is the English Super League. So it's just called Rugby League not Rugby & NRL is only referred to when talking about the national comp

Head clashes are common. Yes, it is illegal to purposefully target the head, but it happens all the time. Getting stitched up and getting back on the field to play again is pretty common. Blood is common in nrl.
Russell crowe owns a part of the Rabbitos as well as being a pretty big name as an actor. Look him up. The 4 teams playing are pretty good with the Broncos and The Rabbitos having some great players. You can't beat the roosters for a crowd pleasing game. League is a fast pace game, big hits, at times punches thrown and great rivalry. Please go to the game and enjoy it as much as we Aussies do.

Each of you should support as the following: Top left: Manly Sea Eagles, Top right: Brisbane Broncos, Bottom left: South Sydney Rabbitohs, Bottom right: Sydney Roosters
Rugby League is not just in Australia. There is a World Cup with teams from Lebanon, New Zealand, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, UK etc. It is so popular in Papua New Guinea, it is not uncommon for children to be named after NRL players.
All 4 teams have their superstars, but I think the game to watch will be the Sydney Roosters vs Brisbane Broncos. The Bronco's were the Runner's Up in the 2023 Grand Final and lost to the Penrith Panthers. The Roosters are stacked full of superstars, look out for James Tedesco, Joseph Manu, Joseph Sua'alii and Sam Walker to light things up. Then on the Bronco's side look out for the speedster Reece Walsh, Kotoni Staggs and the try scoring Selwyn Cobbo and the powerful Payne Haas. If you guys can get there . . . . GET THERE you won't regret it. I do hope the American fans will really get behind the game and the atmosphere because I know the Aussie (Australia) and Kiwi (New Zealand) fans definitely will, and yes boys there will definitely be some big hits on the ticket.
Out of the teams that are playing, the most successful team in the last 10 years would be the Sydney Roosters as they have won 3 premierships (our equivalent to the super bowl) in 2013, 2018 & 2019. Souths is the only other team out of this group that won at least one in 2014. I'm a roosters supporter and cant wait to watch the game on tv here in Australia
If you go in to this game thinking you are going to see big hits every play the ball you will be disappointed but you still will see some amazing things done on the field …. Just don’t expect to much….
If you guys want to watch a really, really good game of NRL go watch last years (2023) grand final between the Penrith Panthers and the Brisbane Broncos! This has gone down as the Best rugby league grand final EVER!
The Lakers of rugby league. If you're talking most iconic then these four teams are probably the most iconic. But the most iconic of all is the Rabbitohs
@@KrustyVlogs Broncos are the most popular team and for a long time the only team from the NRL's second biggest city. Roosters are a team with a long history(they have the most overall wins, not premierships just game wins) Roosters think they are better than even else because the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney(their home territory) is very posh, Rabbitohs are the oldest team that is still in competition(they and roosters both came in 1908) Rabbitohs have the most premierships overall and some of the most loyal fans. Panthers are the best team at the moment, they have won 3 premierships in a row which hasn't happened since the 80s they also have the best player in the comp, Nathan Cleary who is a half-back kind of like a quarter-back. Storm have been the most successful team over the last 20 years. Those are probably the five glamour teams of the comp.

I played rugby league for over 15years and watching that got me hyped!
Sheesh what team
League is played in 68 countries around the world including USA, The 2 professional leagues are in Australia and New Zealand NRL and Super League in UK.
Interesting I’m gonna search it up
Thanks guys for checking out the promotion
Thank you for watching
Yeah Rugby League began in England and isn’t just played in Australia, the NRL is just their league (it’s the most popular of the domestic leagues though) - there’s also a Rugby League World Cup
It’s crazy ti hear it began in England but really took off in Australia
@@KrustyVlogsit’s still pretty big in the north of England mainly where it started, we have the Super League. Really popular in the Pacific Islands too.
Sports Explained did a really good video called Rugby Explained for American Football Fans - he explains Union and League really well, the history of them and the shared history with American football. Really recommend that one, probably the best out there
Let’s Goooo! Imagine the talent from the USA playing rugby league 😮 that’s going to be scary man!
Yeah I can’t wait to see it hapoen
Russell Crowe is a New Zealand born , AUSTRALIAN actor , who owns the Sydney Rabbitohs team. If ya be quiet and listen very carefully fellas, Russel very easily explains the rules. Oh and by the way Rugby League is different from Rugby Union( Rugby ). Rugby League is played in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Ireland , Fiji, Samoa..
Yesss he sure did and I understood them completely
Rusty owns 25% and part owner of Souths.
You forgot Tonga and PNG :)
Best way to explain Rugby league is like grid iron on steriods
Sheesh excited to see steroid molecules collide
Sports Explained did a really good video called Rugby Explained for American Football Fans - he explains Union and League really well, the history of them and the shared history with American football. Really recommend that one, probably the best out there
Well I’ll see what we can do
Russell Crowe is a film actor.
Oooo well I’m glad you are not a hater because a lot of people always choose one
Yeah I watched the gladiator the other day
The NRL grand final get around 80,000 people.
Am average nfl game but let’s make this bigger
@@KrustyVlogs 80,000 is not too bad when you consider Australia only has around 7 - 8% ( 28mil) of the population of the U.S
That’s only because the stadiums max out at that. Most every grand final is a sellout
@@KrustyVlogsyes but our population is far less than the USA 😂 Also our stadiums are only designed to hold so much
We were at the airport when the broncos team were checking in to go to LA. My son was star struck and took heaps of blurry photos 😂
GO BRONCOS!
Ohhh that must’ve been such an amazing experience for him, glad he got to see them! Can’t wait to see what the broncos do
what is good about the game is when your not supporting the NFL you can support the NRL, when 1 finishes the other starts and vice versa
One drawback of the Las Vegas ground is that's it's somewhat narrower than a normal league ground.
That will make it a lot harder for the attackers to break through the defence. ☹
That might keep the scores low.
Kicking the ball over the defenders will be important. (The ground is also shorter which will make it easier to gain distance)
It should be interesting to see the dynamic of the teams especially playing indoors
It’s only 1.25 meters narrower if they retain the nfl lines, some UK super league fields have worse dimensions especially with small in zones. 👍
I don’t either but I’m excited to find a team to root for
@@KrustyVlogscheck out the manly sea eagles. they’re in the opening game and have so many fast, good players. also the brisbane broncos in the next game
@@KrustyVlogsBrisbane Broncos are a very fast team and super exciting to watch. .
Each of you guys need to go for 4 different teams playing in Vegas
Hahah I think we are planning on that
The late famous "croc hunter" steve irwin was a HUGE Brisbane Broncos fan, and actually played a couple of seasons in a minor sunshine coast local rugby league comp at fullback
As an Australian who lives and breathes NRL, you should be going for the Broncos all though i am a Penrith Panther fan, the best team in Vegas is the Broncos. Btw the Lebron of the NRL is Nathan Cleary search him up
Bet I’ll search him up and I’m glad I get to see some championship ballers
Russell Crowe known for his movie roles in movies like gladiator, Thor love n thunder (as Zeus) & and whole lot more
Yeah I have watched gladiator
Russell Crowe look up the movie Gladiator There are 2 games on 100 metres is 110 yards so the field is longer and wider than NFL fields not Mexico it was Sydney .You will feel the hits . League is played in England where it started in 1895 after breaking away from Union ,also played in New Zealand , Tonga Samoa Fiji and it is the National game of Papua New Guinea and also France ,they also have a competition in Canada .
Yess I found out who he is and I feel dumb!
I think the one thing that will surprise you is that when they say no helmets, no pads etc that we mean it and the sound you hear when they hit each other, its like two titans coming together. Especially the big boys!
Hahah it’s like giants colliding
Russell Crowe owns the Rabbitohs and is also a movie veteran in some of the best movies like gladiator
I wonder if he will be there
100% he will
Russell Crowe act in Gladiator , American Gangster with Denzel Washington
will be worth going to and for everyone in the USA to experience our rugby live i'm a massive rabbitoh fan us australians hope you all enjoy our rugby league
Well maybe I’ll be there
If you are too young to know Russel Crowe from h8s lead role in Gladiator, you may know his as Zeus in Thor:love and thunder
Yess yess I have seen him I just didn’t know him by his real name
Gonna be a great way to get started
Cheers for the love of our game 🤙
Much love!
Russell Crowe is the main actor in "Gladiator" one of the best movies in the World in 2000..🔥🔥🔥

Yes thank you!

The Nrl and RL in general, has probably gone up another level since the boom in Pasifika Participation. They've brought an element of excitement to the Nrl, and you'll most likely see a Pasifika on the end of those brutal tackles 90% of the time.
This league has a lot of expectations can’t wait to see some good form tackles
UP DA WAHS !
Sheesh
I gotta watch some of these goats
@KrustyVlogs yeah bro I'll put it like this for you cause I'm a pretty big NBA guy and I think it'll make it a little easier for you guys to understand as well lol
Lebron - a pure athlete speed, power, size and straight dominant and powerful can cover every position you gotta go with Greg Inglis, straight up beast on the field. Watch this guy if you wanna see defenders get ragdolled lol
A.I - small but lethal collecting ankles and fitting through the smallest gaps and explosive first step then you gotta go with Shaun Johnson. Watch this guy for straight up footwork and speed.
Curry - sharp shooter and a mastermind playmaker always on the move and trying to find weaknesses in the defense then you got to go with Jonathan Thurston (he's more of a playmaker and assists line breaks and tries and also the GOAT goal kicker but his highlights aren't as exciting tbh)
3 different playstyles and 3 of the best in their respective approaches to the game.
It’s crazy that it started in a whole other country
Have a look at a NRL Farewell tribute to Greg Inglis an Aussie legend and you can see one of our greats.
NRL is played between nations in our region like New Zealand, Fiji, Somoa, PNG, Tongs and England.
Sooo I guess it’s almost worldwide
He is THE Maximus Decimus Meridius.
Loved the cat content.
Storm fan
One day I hope I can see them play
Got my bets on for this game,half-time full-time for each teams, vice versa and also tryscorers anytime multis + trys for each game 3 or more for Brisbane Bronco's eah half.
Sheesh I might have to follow
The similarities between NRL and NFL
NRL 6 tackles equals NFL 4 downs
Offense is about gaining momentum. In NRL the clock doesn't stop EVER between tackles/downs.
Oooo so it’s non stop competition
Rugby League is played in Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands and in Europe.
Soo it’s all around
Historically it was founded in England and diverged from Rugby Union, as did NFL.
I like the Brisbane Broncos, but that's because im bias and from Brisbane.
2 games on the same day one after the other. Brisbane was in the grand final last year that’s the NRL version of the Super Bowl. All 4 teams are in the top 8 best teams in the comp so it should be fast and an exiting 2 games. Guaranteed big hits and aggression.
Guaranteed is making this game even more exciting
Enjoy! Aussie Aussie Aussie! I've been a Dragons supporter all my life.
Aussie Aussie Aussie! I hope we can hear that chant
He was born in New Zealand :) Was Russel Crow
Well that’s aWesome
You need to go, experiencing elite rugby league live is such an eye-opener.
Sheesh I want to vlog it!
What number ?
Jersey No.1 for the Brisbane Broncos
There is no first down marker to get another 6 tackles though, it's 5 tackles to work it up field then a kick if you haven't scored.
Interesting it should be a good matchup
It’s safe to root for the broncos and Rabbitohs 💯
I'll be rooting for bulldogs this year
Are they good ?
You cant go wrong with the Brisbane Broncos. Definately the Lakers of the NRL
@@KrustyVlogs not as good as the Panthers given we beat the Broncos in last year's grand final and beat the Rabbitohs in the 2021 grand final
Don't say ROOT in Australia it means something completely different
Our fields are about 8 meters wider than the field that we are playing this game in Vagas
Sheesh that’s a big field
Boys, rugby league is not just played in Australia, there’s around 70 countries that play this great game, including your own very national American league, including your own international team, know as the Tomahawks!
Well there’s only one country that does play the NRL though
@@KrustyVlogs actually that's wrong cause the nrl is also played in the New Zealand with their team the Warriors
@@KrustyVlogs They play IN the NRL, it's Australia's domestic comp with a Kiwi team in the comp. The other main comp is the English Super League. So it's just called Rugby League not Rugby & NRL is only referred to when talking about the national comp
@@KrustyVlogs And in the NRL Papua New Guinea have a team in the minor division.
Matt peterson aka sideshow bob played for the usa many years ago
These 4 teams are very good they have expertise players on each side so you will be thrilled at what these players can do.Thats coming from a die hard PARRAMATTA EELS fan.
I can’t wait to see them work
@KrustyVlogs they will put on a great game for yas, full of hard hits, spectacular tries and awesome speed and power.
Rugby league is played in Australia, United kingdom, France, Papua New guinea, and many South Pacific nations.
I wanna go watch
Head clashes are common. Yes, it is illegal to purposefully target the head, but it happens all the time. Getting stitched up and getting back on the field to play again is pretty common. Blood is common in nrl.
Gotta be a man
One other rule is you must retreat 10 metres after every tackle except for 2 players called markers
Interesting I’ll have to keep that in mind, I’m sure there’s many more
Russell crowe owns a part of the Rabbitos as well as being a pretty big name as an actor.
I can’t wait to see this fast paced game
Australia are the greatest rugby league team in history second would be the kiwis!

Went to the nrl grand final in Sydney 2023. No park stadium here.
83 thousand.
Panthers v broncos
Was at the 1999 grand final were there was 116 thousand.
Your stadium holds what? 65k.
See you there if you can leave you screens.
Sheesh must be one of a kind
Leauge is also big in the UK and New Zealand, and it's the national game of Papua New Guinea.
Thinking about reacting to the game that was played in uk
It’s not 6 tries to make a tackle it’s that you have 6 tackles to score a try / touchdown (rather than just going 10 yards say)
Yeah I understand 100%
Each of you should support as the following:
Top left: Manly Sea Eagles, Top right: Brisbane Broncos, Bottom left: South Sydney Rabbitohs, Bottom right: Sydney Roosters
Hahah ohhh let me screenshot and send it to them
@@KrustyVlogs haha did you guys end up supporting the teams I mentioned above!
Rugby League is not just in Australia. There is a World Cup with teams from Lebanon, New Zealand, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, UK etc. It is so popular in Papua New Guinea, it is not uncommon for children to be named after NRL players.
Well I’m learning something new everyday
They also play in England, France and Ireland. Jamaica was in the recent Rugby League World Cup.
Red White and Blue Go Roosters - Very addictive game to watch you will enjoy,
I can’t wait
Russell Crowe is the Gladiator man
I seen it
They will be amazed that the game doesnt stop for 80 minutes, with out wearing a tank
Haha it should be fun to watch
Rabbitohs are one of the oldest and also have the most premierships. Probably the most respected team in RL aswell from other team supporters.
It’d be great for you to go to this game. Would love to hear what you think of the game itself!
I’ll be filming the game in 2 parts soo enjoy
Brisbane bro's. Queenslander!!
From an Aussie!!

@@KrustyVlogs Go the Broncos!!
Dammmm seems like they gonna be electric on American soil
If you go in to this game thinking you are going to see big hits every play the ball you will be disappointed but you still will see some amazing things done on the field …. Just don’t expect to much….
I’m going in expecting to see some athletes be athletes

Well may the best win right
The Lakers of rugby league. If you're talking most iconic then these four teams are probably the most iconic. But the most iconic of all is the Rabbitohs
Oooo but what about last years champs
