Heyo!! I don't know if the creator would give a different answer or if I'm thinking about the right thing, but maybe you're thinking about the frame rate. This animation is made on a low frame rate -- if you pause a UA-cam video and then press the comma , or period . key, you go back or forward one frame at a time, and you can count how many frames a drawing is held for. Many of the drawings are held for three frames each. (One of the exceptions is the character with a knife: she only has two frames per drawing! That's more common in Western animation, and anime more commonly has three or more frames per drawing. You can also mix things up! It's common enough that a single scene may have drawings held for one, two, or three frames. The knife character has some 3s mixed in, the cat character with the blue hand design covering half their face has some 4s, and I wouldn't be surprised if the other characters have some variety too.) Also! There's a lot of exaggerated bouncing of movements: characters moving forward before bouncing backward or their fur bounces a lot.
