    I was a military telegraphist but never became a 'ham' however, I do like the look of this key and wondered about the tension compared with the older keys in the 70's. One I hated was where a huge block of metal with a morse key was attached to our legs in the back of a land-rover using old valve HF transmitters.

    Key and video both exquisite worksmanship. There's something incredibly restful in watching that key slowly come together to that music.

      @@kellyklaask7su990 Using magnets is also a very good idea. I saw the video you demonstrated how they work. Keeping the second magnet hidden under the surface definetely looks more classy. Thumbs up!

    "20 hours of work" My first thought was, OMG, how much are you charging for these?! But the price isn't bad at all. Clearly a labor of love.

      or add GFCI to your circuit and have exterior gang boxes with covers

      Early on that's what I used but now I use red Loc-Tite.
