  • I’m continuing the exciting unboxing of two incredible CW keys straight from Italy. In my debut episode, I unboxed the Begali Spark key, and today, I’ll continue with the HST Mark III single lever key with a switch for sideswiper (Cootie) mode.
This key is a true testament to Italian engineering at its finest and is the epitome of sleek, stylish, and fast, reminding me of an Italian sports car.
In this video, I'll demonstrate the key in action, showcasing its incredible performance at both 20 and 25 wpm. You'll get a first-hand look at just how smooth and precise this key truly is as I attach it to my iPad using the Morse-it app.
I have more exciting content planned for future videos, including tips and tutorials, morse code apps, and gear reviews. So, stay tuned for more fantastic content from my channel!

Nice video once again. You have a unique style that I really like. I think the pacing of your videos allows the viewer more time to take in the fine visual details of the items you are reviewing. Very enjoyable. Well done!

Thank you, Lyndon. You've made my day with your comment. I make a great effort to produce these videos to both educate and entertain. I'm glad my efforts are being noticed. I'm currently putting together the final touches on a morse code practice video that is a little experimental in how it is presented. Cheers and 73, my friend!

Bravissimo for this compelling presentation. I am now seriously thinking of ordering a Bengali HST Mark III even though I already own a perfectly good paddle. The machine is impressive. If Bengali hasn’t compensated you for this very persuasive video, perhaps they should consider it. I’m looking forward to learning more about your practice setup with Morse-It.

I was on the fence for a long time. I'm glad I finally ordered it because it's a beautiful key and a joy to use. TU ES 73!

Thanks for the comment. I'm a newbie to the sideswiper function and am having difficulties getting used to it. I won't be able to do a good sideswiper video until a lot more practice! Sideswiping is harder than it looks. 😊

That looks like a nice piece of equipment. I noticed that the paper on the right said "Tasti Telegrafici " on it. Respectfully, I don't think that I will be eating one of these anytime soon.

So, you just connect your key to your iPad without any adapter? Did you just plug it into the audio jack?

Thanks for the nice video. Very well done. I don’t like the app since it displays the code in a visual sense which is counterproductive as we all know. Perhaps one can turn it off?

Hi. Could you make a video about the app translating your morse code in the tablet, and learning morse online?
    What's the name of it?
    Thanks for the video.

Hello. Thank you so much for stopping by to comment. The app is called Morse-it. I made a video about it here:
      ua-cam.com/video/YWVld0Kekw8/v-deo.html
Morse-it is a very versatile app and is my favorite app to learn morse code. Hope this helps!🤗

Hi. Thank you very much for the nice comment. I use the Morse-it app on the video. It's an IOS app that works on iPad or iPhone. I actually made a video specifically about the app here: ua-cam.com/video/YWVld0Kekw8/v-deo.html

@@themarconian it is possible to connect your key to the tablet and Control your keying? Thats my reason for the question. And does it goes up to 40-45 wpm? Mny tks, 73 de OE5POP

    • @themarconian
      @themarconian  Рік тому +1

I connected my iPad with an Apple Lightning to a USB Camera adapter to the VBand adapter, which connects to a key. The Morse-it app settings allow you to go 100 wpm! It is accurate and I can control the keying with the Begali HST at 25-30 wpm, so it should work at 40-45 wpm if you can go that fast! That's an awe-inspiring speed! I just can't confirm how well it works at those faster speeds because I'm not at that skill level to check accuracy for myself. Bravo to you if you are that fast! I hope this helps!
