I've actually got a Aria pro ii sb-1000 Cliff Burton Bass that is supposed to arrive at my house in a few days. Newsted also played the same bass in the Garage Days pics. I got the same exact bass about to be delivered to my doorstep, so I know how this guy feels about Newsted as well as Cliff Burton.
Jason is THE reason I started playing. It was less that his playing style was captivating to me and more his intensity and passion for playing. The best cheerleader Metallica ever had. Thank you Jason, for everything.
I hate commentators who always write "underrated", "there will be no more like him". There have been and will be talents before. Jason is well appreciated by his fans and experts who undoubtedly recognize his talent

Because of his bass solos I got me bass, I am been playin now for almost 2 years, bass and music is the thing I enjoy the most, now I learned Blackened and over 100 songs, so get yourself bass, practice and you can enjoy the ride in playin music my friend 😀🤘

Вроде бы какая-то ерунда банальная -- "даунстрок", но в те дремучие годы, когда Хетфилд учился играть на гитаре, это было маленьким откровением, эта была "фишка" треша! )) Это сейчас, на том же Ютубе, можно чему хочешь научиться... А сорок лет назад, кто бы научил лабать металл круто? Они ИЗОБРЕЛИ целый жанр в музыке.

Not surprisingly, Lars and James have decided to have another employee, like Trujillo, to take more of a leading role. That was what the gang came down to: James and Lars. Anyway, the only irreplaceable in Metallica is James, and I think that's indisputable.
Well, uummm ..he isn't playing THAT difficult parts, just some random riffs from their songs. I dont say i can play them like he does, but thats nowhere close to any great bass solos by others. But the drugs he took that day must have been really good! 😁
