Nice video, but you missed my favorites. The Barnes Museum (the largest collection of impressionist art in the world), the Magic Garden (a crazy outdoor mosaic museum on South Street), Love Park (home of the iconic statue), the Philadelphia Art Museum and Rittenhouse Square.
As a Philadelphian permit me to make a few more suggestions when visiting Center City (what we Philly people call "Senner Siddy"): 1. Our huge and opulent city hall - the biggest municipal building in the western hemisphere - it took 30 years to build and was for a year or two the tallest habitable building in the world. You can book a tour and go up the clock tower for great views; 2. Chinatown with it's iconic entrance arch. Great place to have lunch and browse interesting shops; 3. Two original 18th Century homes with authentic furniture that are open to the public as museums are the Powel House and the Physick House; 3. the National Museum of American Jewish History - it has nothing to do with religion but an interesting interactive place that tells the story of Jewish people in America.
Mistake #1 Philadelphia does not have a “downtown.” It has Center City. And that is divided into two more or less different parts, Market East and Market West. That said, I think this presented a good selection of sites to visit but Philly could support another video about its museums. Those on the Parkway, The Museum of Art, the Rodin, Barnes, Franklin Institute and other museums like the Mutter and Museum of the Revolutionary War. Another quirky place never mention is the 30th Street (Now Gray) Train Station. It has statutes, Frescos and general grandeur in its great hall and alcoves off it. It really brings home how much Philadelphia is a big city which has remained important through the 20th century.
