I am convinced now Mark is a time traveler who is pulling deleted scenes from all the old movies he has starred in and reviewing them for us. (Kudos, Mark! That editing was perfect :) )
At 8 min 55 sec I thought he was saying "robutt" but now that you point it out it was "robit". I did a quick search and robit is the name of a company manufacturing ground drilling equipment and this line was delivered standing right next to a mysterious ground drilling cone! Perhaps it is we who didn't pick up on a subtle clue for some sub plot that didn't survive the post edit snips?
1:18 I'm from New Orleans and worked in the French Quarter; those fishbowls are considered sucker tourist drinks. I'm sure more than one has been slipped a roofie via those things (keep your drink covered, folks!)
This bit,the breaking into your apartment, for me was very much like the cheesy MST3K bits in between movie breaks, the Mike Nelson era with Tom Servo and Crow in the "hyper warp escape pods". I approve!
I love that Mark's "hiding the action"-bit actually showed more action than the actual film did :D Also, that "of course I kept waving" bit at the end really cracked me up. Such solid jokes! :D
Mark has a really good point about lighting. Many artists who are new to the business or on a tight budget struggle to light scenes. It's not a problem that would affect something like Game of Thrones.
Not sure if it was part of the movie and Mark was just matching the scene, but the consistency of that jarring slanted camera angle during the confrontation scene in the Mayor's office worked brilliantly! Even the way he cut the action of the Mayor hitting the man with the butt of his gun made it look like Mark was on the receiving end. And of course the periodic zoom-in of the woman's face "reacting" to Mark was just perfect comedic timing. I love it when editing skills and comedy combine.
Mark channeling his inner John McClane' fighting off the vampires was a sight to behold! of course it was off camera! like everything in real life! yippee ki yay!
I just want to say, I love how you go from being all classy and sophisticated into John McClane from Die Hard when those mutant vampires attack. Your getup is hilarious!
Mark dude. You are god damn hilarious. I've been watching your videos for years now. I know it's such a cliche when people are like, omg you're so underrated you should have a billion subs. But, the thing is, your stuff is so unique. And you're so damn funny. It's not fair you don't have a billion subs my guy. I'm sure you're a fun dude to have as a friend. Keep em coming
I've been a fan of this channel for years, the content and self inserts that this guy (Mark) does is getting so much better and I think his form of comedy is top notch. Don't mind it if one day he becomes an actual actor in films.
Hope you stay safe from another mutant vampire attack, Mark. You never know when they'll strike next. And even if they do attack again, even though it may happen offscreen, I know for sure you will definitely will be the one to keep them at bay. Also, you've definitely improved on the effects of your skits. I like it that you're able to have the other actors move now.
I want to see the coat pieces with pipecleaners fight against last week's forehead monsters! Another amazing episode love the grenade fight in your studio
"...well you thought wrong!... Arrgh!" I played that part over and over, that noise you make when the grenades go off is the funniest thing i've ever heard.
I love how the resolution to the movie is to simply enter a different part of the cone, which they knew was there, but just didn't go into for some reason.
Fun Fact; Apparently, the premise of this movie was so similar to Robert Heinlein's seminal novel 'The Puppet Masters', that Heinlein tried to sue the production until they settle out of court. Just thought I'd share that. =)
This is now a very old video, but I had to stop by and say the "mutant zombies with space lasers" sequence is amazing! The effects are really convincing, plus great performance!!!
I wanna see more of that kind of skit. Possum Reviews usually has a "story" and other characters going with the review portion, and I love that this time you did too, kind of.
Don't worry about him crawling in there, it was just a McDonald's Playplace, although the odds of him contracting a parasite is still much greater than average.
Happy surprise to be in time for this premier..Mark you just keep getting more handsome and charismatic, as well as perfecting the art of putting yourself in the movie..thanks for being so awesome!
Checked earlier this morning for an upload, was disappointed to not see one, just finished work, got a pizza, rolled a fat one and here we are 😂😂😂👍🏾great timing Mark😊
I've only been watching your videos for a few months but your editing to put yourself into the scenes is better than ever. Love the black and white video of you when you're reviewing black and white movies too! #givehimthedoubleaxehandlechop😂
Fun fact: Hampton Fancher, who later co-wrote the screenplay for Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049, makes an uncredited appearance as a zombie in this movie.
The part where we don't see the vampires break in is pure genius!!!
I am convinced now Mark is a time traveler who is pulling deleted scenes from all the old movies he has starred in and reviewing them for us. (Kudos, Mark! That editing was perfect :) )
I approve of Mark's abilities against Space Mutant Vampires. You can't be soft with those type of Vampires, otherwise they'll walk all over you.
Hiding The Action was effing hilariously awesome! - "This time I've got weapons." Pop Pop pop pop . I'm dying!
The space lasers were particularly impressive.
@@variaphoraYes😂
I almost fell out of my chair laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Agreed. 3 mutant thumbs ups. 👍
So good. And the skit at the end. Always leads to unexpected places 😂
A robit. Not a robot. A robit. That's how you know it's serious
that scene came up just as i was reading this comment :)))))
Robit cop too: furniture of the law.
I’m always surprised when it’s pronounced robit. I wonder when it shifted to robot.

Tolkien's "The Robit"
I dunno about you guys, but I was on the edge of my seat when Mark got attacked... Glad he made it out on.
Mark’s encounter with the Vampires had more action than the movie! Of course, most it it happened off screen. 😂
Also offscreen in the film.
That was the best part of this movie 😂..
Discount Dan's "Box Of Grenades" is the perfect gift for any holiday!
now only 99,99 at the one and onlyTesco car lane autopark and gunshop! *broken jingle🛂*
Ah, I see, another man of culture.
That off screen bit was so good, damn! Also nice touch how the studio stayed destroyed throughout the rest of the vid!
The epic home invasion scene by the zombies was *chef's kiss* .
Mark pulls up with the suit in black and white:
"Bout to be a classic"
1:18 I'm from New Orleans and worked in the French Quarter; those fishbowls are considered sucker tourist drinks. I'm sure more than one has been slipped a roofie via those things (keep your drink covered, folks!)
My god, the off-screen action against the vampires was absolutely hilarious. Brilliant work, Mark.
Mark, your creativity is the highlight of every video you make. Your editing skills are increasing!
Mark is SOOO creative and talented. Just look how he puts himself into the movies. That takes a lot of ingenuity and talent. You rock Mark
"Well, you thought wrong!" *bomb*
GOLD!!😂
(this whole segment was so good!)
I was going to rave about the zombie fight you did Mark, but everyone beat me too it! Well done!
This is the ,most technically sophisticated and comedically layered episode of WMWM yet. Awesome job Mark!
Ed Wood despite his many flaws can never be called a boring filmmaker, his movies at least delivered many laughs
Speaking of Ed Wood, in this film we have Joanna Lee of Plan 9 fame (Tanna).
Glen Or Glenda has some very boring moments.
....this isn't an Ed Wood film....
What does Ed Wood have to do with this episode?
@@richosborne1971absolutely nothing, but it's still true.

The Canadian accent really came out when he says "I'm sorry!" 😂
And he said washroom not bathroom
Mark... Vampire Hunter! 🧛 Had me rolling on the floor as always. Too bad we had to wait another 27 year to actually see brains being eaten.
What about "Fiend Without A Face?"
Mark has a really good point about lighting. Many artists who are new to the business or on a tight budget struggle to light scenes.
It's not a problem that would affect something like Game of Thrones.
Makes me appreciate Spock's Brain even more. Best classic Star Trek episode ever made.
What is brain?!?
The vampire zombie attack was awesome!
Is it possible to do a triple thumbs up?
Wait, what? I didn't see that.
Brilliant Mark, These just get better by the episode. The skits are totally killer! Many thanks.
The edits with you spliced into the movies are the best part of these reviews
“They go back to the stupid cone again because why not?”😂

Brain Eater is my favorite song by Hall & Oates.

Spiral slides are the best. If you are going fast enough, centrifugal forces will make the vomit go over the edge.

8:34 John Maclean from Die Hard makes an appearance.
