Thank you for not putting obnoxious music in the background or obscuring the screen with captions and annotations. So pure, so calm. Wonderful to watch!
five thumbs up for this!!! i absolutely vehemently hate background music
This reminds me that I need to discipline myself to sit down and make the same form over and over, and be willing to destroy everything I make, in order to get true control of the clay. It's a very common exercise for potters learning in the Asian cultures and that's why once they reach that journeyman to Master status, they're so amazing and intuitive when they make things!
The amount of solutions this man has to my pottery problems is truly astounding! The measuring tools and damp box alone will save me so much headache. Much appreciated!
I saw that, the cooler! great idea for a damp box.

貴重な動画ありがとうございます。
I enjoyed watching your process. Your cups are elegant. Thank you for sharing.
Your take on "guinomi" sake cup is amazing, looks very nice
Beautiful and enchanting! Your work looks a sacred ritual, silent and devoted. Real pleasure to watch! I like the shapes and glazes for these cups. Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful work, beautiful hands. Thanks for sharing!
Nice to see a lefty throwing. Great pieces.
Astonishing amount of work and care.
Stunning glaze finishes!
Mastery of gesture and material, superb design. Perfect work that reconciles with the human. Thank you
Watching that perfectly centered cup while everything spinning around it looks off… amazing
形が素晴らしくてエレガントと思います。
私たちがそれほど遠くなかったら この美しい作品を手に入れたいです
Respect for the craftsmanship and attention to detail.
These are skillfully made with great care. I love the look and everything that goes into it. Very inspiring. Probably one of my favorite potters
What a beautiful video. Such lovely workmanship. Masterful.
Just finished going through your website, and i especially love your wood and lacquer. its really amazing too se work that is so simple and true to itself, thanks for sharing what you do!
beautiful work, love watching your work process mate
truly inspiring
Simply beautiful! I would very proudly own some of those pieces, if I could.
So much work goes into these whiskey cups, it’d better be REALLY GREAT whiskey that goes into the cup! They are absolutely gorgeous, by the way.
Really amazing video. I have never seen this process .Thnaks
Excellent craftsmanship.
Beautiful craft!
Everything this guy does is so calculated and I love it
Wow 🌸 Beautiful to watch ,so peaceful and uplifting 🌎🌸
Insane amount of labor. I wish you had descriptions of materials and methods. Very inspiring.
Amazing! love your videos--Idaho, US
Beautiful and inspiring!
Thank you for this unique view. The close-ups of the softly shimmering gold inner glaze are especially breathtaking. A Scots Gaelic toast to your good health: Slàinte Mhath!
Awsome! Very beautiful! Cheers from Slovenia!
Shino but, you like the same whiskey I like! Your work is beautiful and thoughtful!!!
..u make this the most peaceful serene thing to watch in a chaotic world today..the I'm sure it's probably very noisy in the shop...🤗
patience and attention ..... perfect job
Love videos like this such respect for all artists 👍
I learned a lesson! Thank you
🌓 Absolutely stunning work sir.🦋
15:43 nearly had a heart attack oof
just as the cup was turned right side up I thought the inside of it had some sort of fancy dark blue purple wave pattern to it.
That's a lot of whiskey! My only critique is that, personally, I would want the inside of the cup to be pure white so I can enjoy the color of the whiskey as well. Would be cool to see your take on the Scottish Glencairn glass.
Lovely to watch.thank you
magnifique! j'aime la texture!
It's perfect! Congratulations !!!
Great work. Unusual to see the wheel working clockwise!
Looks like a Shimpo. Lovely little wheels which are reversible. Some of my students are Japanese and appreciate being able to throw in the direction they are used to.
@@jonfisher9214 I have one & I love it! I didn’t know Japanese potters worked on a wheel rotating clockwise
I’m looking forward to seeing you on The Ceramic School- Continental Congress, I hope you show how you made the texture on the bowl in your advertisement for this event.
Más que la pieza, admiro el carácter del maestro ¡sencillamente magistral!
These are stunning!!
15:43 a dramatic moment haha
Beautiful, amazing!!!
So good!
I just don't fully understand all the processes here - Anyone have any recommendations on books or videos please!?!
Thanks for very inspirational video - work. Amazing.
Just amazing !!!
That's such a big cup for whiskey
You doing a great job. Hello from Ukraine
A tu salud, maestro!!
Perfection ❤️
Why did you remove water from the top of glaze? Was the glaze to thin? Beautiful work! I'm gonna try....but my Whiskey cup is not going to lok as great as yours!
You can learn from this video. Superb technique along with understanding of material . Form follows function x dedication and creativity.
Wow,he has strong looking hands
Those hands and arms 😍
those are some beauties
Wah those are beautiful
Gorgeous! Maravilloso!
VERY GOOD ! LOVE IT
I want to get some of these products. I love them!!!
If you can buy it from a Japanese website? What concers do you have will stop you from ordering?
.although fun/educational to watch, this inspires me to go in the opposite direction, i.e. make a whisky cup in an instant !
I'd very much like to know if it was slip you used first on the unfired (greenware) or something else? Also, I understand the sanding and scouring of the black glaze was for matte look and feel, and possibly to showcase the crackle, but in the video the sheen between the crackles look golden, was this the after treatement or the underglaze?
Are you not using stilts bc of high temperature?
Beautiful work!
Thanks for sharing 🙏❤️
Patience is a good thing when creating lasting beauty.👍👍
Super awesome!
My God, that's such painstaking, meticulous hard work. You must have the patience of the Buddha.
Wonderful!
those look so damn gorgeous.
That's a lot of work.
it's pretty beautiful.
so, where could i buy the whisky cup ?
Wonderfull!!!
Love that it is asmr.
Beautiful work! What is the weight of clay ball you start with?
Gorgeous!
Would love to purchase one.
Beautiful
すきました. おめでとう
@SHINOBU HASHIMOTO after the cups have been fired I see you rubbing/burnishing them with a rotary tool and by hand. Can you explain what you are using and what the purpose of that step is? I imagine it is to take some of the gloss of the items but would love to know what you are doing.
Beautiful! Is that all under-glaze? is the clay still fresh before he glazes the outside? At some point he seems to gently reshaping one of them just after the outer blue glaze is done...
I know, right? I can't figure out if it was underglaze or slip (and that's why he removed a lot of water) on the greenware. Also I'm uncertain what he did besides sand and scour the outer glaze to get what looks like a golden sheen between the crackles in the black glaze? I wish there had been a little info.
Also seems labourious to remove the clay dots instead of using stilts, what's that about?
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Bravo!!
Bravo!
Amazing!!!
beautiful
👏👏👏thank you
Love your work, wish we had a better view of trimming
Ah... as soon as I wrote it the video progressed to a better view. perfect!
These cups were supposed to be sold out.
The next launch will be in early 2022.
Is it possible to pre order?
@@elanjacobs1 If you can buy it from a Japanese website? What concerns do you have that will stop you from ordering?
