- In this video I finally get around to working on the F100's rusty floor pans. I have had the floorpans in my shop now for over 6 months prepared and ready for this day. I try show the process so that anyone whether they have a shop or not can do this relatively easy repair and one that affects a lot of older vehicles. We even get an on camera cameo from Gus Gus my shop cat. My next video will dive into the rusted out front cab mounts and then taking off the 2.5 inch body lift. All in an attempt to even out the body lines and give this truck 50 more years of life. Thanks for watching.

Thank God I found your video
Not the right way to do this at all this is like putting a bandaid on the floors wtf
More of a how not to. Will definitely rust out quickly.
grind your weld area first before welding. Clean metal welds way way better.
Use Eastwood clamps to hold the pans in place to weld.
Can i just ask if you screwed it in how did you attach the cab support mount?? did you weld or screw that as well? also overlapping like that will encourage moisture to sit in there and not get away unlike welding it flush
I welded the cab mounts, or at least the parts that I replaced of each of them. Basically just the bottom of each were rusted to I kept the original parts attached to the cab. Thanks for watching.
Gus’s is looking for mice
Agreed! Thanks for watching!!

Not sure yet. Just depends how much work I put into it. Should be getting most of it done this month. New video addressing cab mounts and body lift next. Thanks for watching.
