I am so glad I watched this video! I didn't realize that you could put your cup on the scale and measure out the exact amount needed for the calories that you wanted to consume amazing! I'm loving my digital scale every day! So anyway, I wanted to take out certain portions of the recipes like jalapeno because I can't stomach that is there a way I could take that out of a recipe and not have it in at all?
You can do this 2 ways. First, you can just skip the ingredient - calorie will auto-adjust. To do this, you can press the up button on the scale (Triangle pointed up), or touch the next ingredient block in the build screen. Secondly, you can edit the recipe to remove the jalapeno. To delete an ingredient all together, just choose the ingredient block and touch the trashcan button on the top right corner. Hope that's clear. If not, write back!

Yes. Perfect Blend PRO (or 2.0) scale will work with Perfect Bake app. All you have to do is create an account on your Perfect Blend app. Both apps are free.

Yes it is the same scale for all three Apps. All you need to do is to download Perfect Blend and log into your account, or create an account if you haven't already. Once you log in through the App your scale will work with Perfect Drink, Perfect Bake, and Perfect Blend. Unfortunately we are not able to make suggestions if you are missing an ingredient, but if you edit a copy of the existing recipe and swap out the ingredient you do have Perfect Blend will track the nutritional value of your new recipe.

I have the vitamix pro 750. I’m trying to use the 48 ounce stainless steel container and I don’t see that listed. So then I wanted to use my 32 ounce container I also don’t see that listed. How do I get one of those to work on the scale?
Hello Debbie, You will need to select a new blender and container and then you should be all set. You need to find your profile settings to select a new blender. If you are using Perfect Blend on a phone find the "more" button in the bottom nav bar next to "shopping list" (if you are using a tablet look for the "profile" button in the bottom Nav Bar. Once you select "more" your first option should say "profile". Select 'profile" and you will see four icons at the top of your screen. Select "settings" at the far right, and then press the "Select Blender" button in the middle of the screen. From there you can Select the 750 PRO blender. Press "select" at the bottom of the screen. You will then be promoted to choose your container and the 48oz is available there. Sorry we do not currently have support for the 32oz container. Hope that helps. Thanks!!

Hey Shirley there is no way to print off your shopping list from the app, but it will sync across your devices. All you need is to have the app on both your tablet and smartphone and be logged into your account on both. Once you are logged in any changes made on one device will sync across to the other. So if you make a shopping list on your iPad for example that shopping list will sync across to your iPhone which you can use for your trip to the store. Then as you shop and check off items from your list and add them to your pantry that will sync back across to your iPad. Thanks

Hi Lisa! Perfect Bake comes with the Perfect Bake App and 3 bowls. Perfect Blend comes w/ the Perfect Blend App and 1 or 2 to-go smoothie cups depending on the model (2.0 vs. PRO). Having said that, once you purchase one or the other, you can use the scale with all 3 apps (Perfect Drink, Perfect Bake and Perfect Blend). All you have to do is make an account. Hey Missy, I doubt you are doing anything wrong. The Perfect Blend App has been through quite a few changes since this video was released. It has a whole new look and feel after our partnership with Vitamix. Now when you tap the servings button in the lower left hand corner, instead of sliders to adjust servings and serving size now you tap on the field you want to change and enter in the number of servings or calories you are looking for. Also "serving size" has been renamed "volume per serving (fl. oz). Now when you tap the servings button, you should see the number of servings, the volume (in fl. oz) per serving, and the calories of an individual serving. Please try it again, and make note of the amounts of each ingredient in the default recipe, then tap the servings button and change the volume per serving amount. Then go back to the recipe build screen and see if the amounts of each ingredient has changed. Hope we were able to help, and please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
@@Makeitperfectly Yeah I'm having the same trouble as Missy. Even though I successfully change the serving size and fl oz size, the amounts of each ingredient still remain the same. And since it's fully saved per how you want it, if you're not paying attention to what the ingredient amounts were before, you'd never know that the recipe was not paired down at all.
Hey @@olivtrees8749 it seems you are running into the scaling problem that has come into play with the automatic blender jar detection from the Ascent series of Vitamix blenders. Vitamix has a specific volume needed for optimal blending for every container and every recipe which is set as the default recipe size and number of servings. So if you change your number of servings or serving size and then place the blender jar on the scale, it will detect the jar and return to the default. Now once the App has recognized the container you are using you can then change the number of servings and that amount will hold (just ignore the warning if it tells you it's too small). Another option is to buy the 20 fl oz blender jar they sell and you will be able to scale the recipe down further. Now as to the serving size changing as you adjust your servings, that is due to the minimum volume limit Vitamix has put on each container. So no matter how many servings you want to make it will automatically change the serving size to fit the minimum and maximum blend volumes for the specified container, unless of course if your changes fit within the blend volume window. Hi Joe. They are the same. One is private labeled by Vitamix. They are the same scale and they both use the Vitamix Perfect Blend app.
