Athkotor I’m sure Goransson took some influence from other works and Gonna Fly Now may very well have been one of the inspirations but his score is entirely something new, blending the music of spaghetti westerns, the John Williams Star Wars scores, as well as his own style reminiscent of his work on Black Panther. I pretty much never comment on UA-cam but I could not sit idly by without defending the definitive originality of his music.
Athkotor You do know that Ludwig Goransson did the music for the Creed movies, right? And that those movies had a very Rocky-esque soundtrack? So of course his other works have a bit of Rocky in them. I mean, you can even hear some of his Black Panther stuff in the Mandalorian.

The initial structure of the theme is already exceptionally 80's. Arranging the piece with these synths definitely takes it to the next level.
