My pleasure. I have noticed it is harder to find the drain hose on Amazon. My link shows out of stock now. You will have to search it out. You will want the one that fits All FH, FR, FS, FT & FX Engine Models. OEM #510440902. a.co/d/0CpA67Y
Glad it helped. I have seen videos about them but not what was required to install one. The drain plug was a pain to remove because of the limited space. Lining up the drain hose took a couple of times to get it right but it screwed in easily. Tightening it up was the same issue-limited space. Find a small wrench that fits b4 you start and it will save you time. I had to go back a couple of times to find the right size one that worked. Appreciate the feedback. Let me know how it goes for you! Thanks for watching also.
Good to know. I just bought a new 24 52" IKON from Lowe's 2 weeks ago. First new Zero Turn I've bought. I have a 50" Cub RZT I bought used at Tractor Supply. I'm still using it for now. Yours looks like new yet. Thanks for the tips.
I did not. When looking it up, it is not recommended to put teflon tape on engines. While teflon tape is a popular sealant for plumbing and other applications, it's not designed to withstand the high temperatures and pressures involved in an engine's oil system. The Kawasaki drain hose fitting has an o-ring on it to seal it. I am sure the Drainzit does as well. It did not leak after I put it on but after my next mow-I will let you know. Thanks for watching. I bought my Kawasaki Drain hose in the winter--it was on sale-and just put it on now. Just make sure the fittings are still in good shape.
10W-40. I am in Texas. 30W is about up to 100 degrees and it’s gets hotter than that in August so I went with the 10W-40. There is a grading chart in the Ariens manual. That’s how I made my choice. Thanks for watching.
Another great info coverage. Thank you again.

Honored to be of help!! Any questions, reach out and I can share my experience if applicable. Have a great day!!!
Good job! There is not a lot of room to work where that plug is located. That should make things easier on the next oil change.
That is my hope. Hopefully easier and cleaner from now on.
Did you wrap the threads with Teflon tape before installing? I’ve had my drainzit for 2 years and haven’t put it on yet. Haha

I saw you put Mobil oil what grade?

I took my side panel off and made it much easier to thread the drain hose on.. also I apply some anti seize to the threads
The drain hose will be so much better than that plastic drain plug. I appreciate you watching!!
