  • Here's how I beat Whiteclad Noble in Black Myth Wukong without taking damage.
This is a hard fight to no damage tbh. The boss input reads what you do, so if you try to do anything fancy they'll likely counter it and hit you. Forget stance skills or charged heavies if you're going for no damage as they'll get you hit for sure. A good example is if in phase 1 you try and do a jumping heavy, they'll often dart away upon the heavy press or start doing a swipe attack that can't be stopped before the jumping heavy animation is over. It's annoying. The safest way is to simply go with light attacks in phase 1, and jumping heavy in phase 2.
Another example is sprinting light attacks. These will always trigger a counter, so when you sprint in, just one light attack is all you can afford if you don't want to get it.
In phase 2 the boss heals constantly once under 50% health. This is a real pain in the ass. You have to play aggressive, or save up immobilize to use it twice in his last 50% of health - that's what I chose to do as playing aggressive is a little harder to get through without taking damage.
Because of that, skills should be spec'd into stamina, dodging, and the martial arts tree for getting more damage out of light attacks, and more damage from immobilization. That's about it.
Oh yeah, why did I keep chugging down the gourd? Cause my finger kept bumping L1. I have tremors in my hands, so fighting a boss with tremors tends to get buttons pressed that you don't want pressed. Such is life.
