new to your channel and subbed. Love the bus your parents found. Looking forward to following your journey. We daily vlog, and love these day to day life videos.
That was certainly a really huge negative in regards to the van. It’s really sad to see that you’ve wasted money on anything so recovering and being able to bounce back by using all of the things is super important.
Yes, finding something with low mileage with something he definitely wanted however, also to know that they had taken care of it the way that they had was probably really helpful in his decision of wanting to even see it

And l had a marvelous solo adventure. Now l know what it's all about driving down Route 66 from start to finish....awesome good. l'm excited with you on your parent's new vehicle.....awesome
Definitely was a little bummed out but more so stressed out than anything. I’m going to do a follow up video as to what happened. Just trying to get the van home because that was an act of Congress all by itself
I had one of those for my first responder job and sometimes the parking brake test to be on for the door to open depending on what model you have. So tell your dad to try putting it in Park and then throw out the parking brake and see if that works we had issues the same with our bus. It’s to make sure that the bus doesn’t get knocked into gear while people are getting on and off.😊
SO Glad that your dad has been blessed with this Sweet Ride, after taking such a hard punch in the chin with the first van. People are always quoting "When God closes a door, He opens a window"...or, in this case, a LOTTA nice windows attached to a pretty nice chassis. Actually, when I'd first started noticing Schoolies and VanLifers online, I used to sit outside my mother's senior highrise and think how perfect their building's shuttle bus would be to make over for vanlife. Now I get to see it as you update us on your dad's....COOL! Wishing you all the best! 😊😊😊
Look at all of those windows as you were showing the drive I could just think oh my goodness I could imagine some of the places that you’ve showed us out all of those windows.
Yes, that’s one of the first things that I noticed that my mom would love. She likes a lot of good natural light now I do feel like there’s a lot of windows though lol but I think that they’ll figure it out and it’ll be beautiful.
@@BunnyPlaysHere it’s not a biggie if it does have to be registered commercial, ours is cause it was originally registered as a commercial vehicle for cruise America and honestly I don’t think we’re paying that much more for the insurance if at all.
My heart just broke for your parents when I saw that your dad was stranded on the side of the road and had to leave his van in Arkansas. You said that it was home how did it get there? Are you going to be sharing that? Also, I am very excited to see that they have found some thing that will be, wonderful for them. God works in wonderful ways.
I will be sharing all of that very soon. I wanted to make sure to give everyone a heads up as to the service that we used in order to do that because I knew there would be some questions.
The news about the old van stinks so bad, Dad did an amazing job with the build out on that one. But now I'm so excited to see what he does with the new shuttle. Let the fun begin!!
I’m very excited to see all the choices that he makes with this one because it does have more space. The fuel economy won’t be quite as good, but it will allow them to have more space in their rig to be able to enjoy.
Omagosh I’m so happy for your dad! I’m happy for your mom too but your dad because of the huge disappointment he experienced. 40 thousand miles! Woohoo!!! 😆
Welcome to the channel!!! I always try to just find the positives in life and share the realities of what is happening around but still finding the joys.... I am glad you are here to join the adventures!!
I cannot wait to share more information about what he ends up doing so that everyone can see the potential of something like this. It’s super sad what happened with the van but positive thinking really puts you in a better mindset.
Bunny im so happy for your dad i know he was soo unhappy when he had van problems . Glad y'all found a happy happy solution . There are so many possiblilities to a shuttle build ,let the imagination begin . Have a great day😎
There are so many awesome opportunities. I’m very excited to see what him and my mom decide and what choices that they make for their space. I know they’re going to be using this for vacationing mostly so it doesn’t have to be super elaborate but at the same time, they want it to have the comforts that they need.
Wow!!!! I haven't watched yet but I literally have been shopping for these on marketplace and am afraid to pull the trigger. So happy to watch you adventure into this.
After seeing this one, it made me really excited about the amount of space that it has, but also the beautiful views that are available through these big windows
Good for your dad! I have a 2012 Chevy Express 4500 6.0 shuttle that runs on gas. I LOVE it. I've had no issues with it but any mechanic can work on it. So much room, 7' interior height. Since it's just me and my dog I opted for a twin daybed that doubles as my couch which freed up room for an actual bathroom! Opposite the bathroom is my garage/storage area. I've got a miniature but full kitchen and a vintage gentleman's armoire that holds clothing, more storage and a dropdown desk/office.. That cabinet above the driver? A ton of storage in there! Mine has an escape hatch in the ceiling that I can pop open and place a box fan in and with the emergency windows open and a USB fan in each there's plenty of ventilation. On rainy days it's great because even though you're stuck inside, there's room to comfortably sit, move around, and enjoy the down time. I'm so, so excited for your folks! They're going to love it!
I know the feeling of losing a van you have grown so much pazaz with!! But it looks like Dad has found a great project to build and I am so excited to see the progress!! Mainly because I've been looking at vans and a few shuttle buses myself!!And to see how he does it will be fun!! Congratulations Dad & Mom on those future adventures to come!! Thanks for sharing this wonderful news!!❤
I am so excited for your dad (&mom)!! &me.. LOL As I plan for a future rig, a shuttle bus is the way I want to go. I am so psyched to see this! I do feel bad that your dad had just finished the van, that's a bummer. But on to bigger and better!!

Congratulations Bunny's Dad. Please take us along on your rehab project. Maybe you can repurpose some of the original builds in your dodge. Plus you can redo the design that you did earlier if you found something you had wanted to change. Also a little more light and space. Yea for you!
He definitely plans on using as many things from the previous build as possible, and I will be giving an update at some point in the future. We will see how he’s doing in there.
Well, it took me a month to get home from Quartzsite due to numerous mechanical issues. I had put $1000 into it to try and prevent this. So after new tires, batteries etc three weeks out, a semi started to jack knife in high winds while passing me ruing my transmission. Limbed it back over the next few weeks back to storage where it died. I bought a new used van and every three days something major breaks down. So I have been stranded somewhere since the first week of April. I have yet to see the bright side. Still trying. Hopefully after Aug 3 I can get it fixed enough to not be in a parking lot and can begin again. Miracles do happen, right?! Glad to see you are in a much better position!! Sorry bout your Dad’s van, good thing is this shuttle doesn’t have high mileage and will be awesome for this type of travel once things get set up again. Looking forward to seeing the transformation. This will be definitely up your Dad’s way 👍

I have been thinking about a shuttle bus. I have a friend I camp with a lot that has a small schoolie. Love all the room. So exciting! Have a blessed day.
That’s a great question for the size of this rig. No, you do not have to have a special license to drive it. It’s just under the amount for needing to do so the mileage on this is going to be great. Overall the fuel economy is not as good as the van however.
Everything he is able to take out he is going to and the nice thing about all of the exterior items such as his solar and cameras and things like that they can all be removed and used on this unit

I have a friend that says Man plans and God laughs.
Wait I must have missed it, when did you get a tiny van
I have always had a tiny van. My van is an NV200. my dad had the 2006 Dodge sprinter and that’s the one that died so he has replaced it with the shuttle bus. I travel and want fuel economy so I have a smaller van to do that for the time being.
