I became a fan of aurora when she released exist for love. I'd never seen a song express so well how I feel about love, and I dedicated it to my boyfriend at the time, who also came to like aurora's music. He broke up with me three months ago, and seeing potion for love be released gave me such a bittersweet feeling. Again, aurora expressed exactly how I feel in the position I find myself in now. I feel so blessed to hear this beautiful song and cry along, and to feel so understood. I've never seen someone sing about human emotions and tell stories in such a beautiful and poetic manner.

this song is wonderful, it's perfect, it's just simple and beautiful, it's perfect because of that, because of its pastel tone. It's those songs that I'm afraid to dedicate, because of the fear of being betrayed and having wasted a song like this, but I really hope to find that person, I want to dedicate this to someone, I want to feel that pastel love for someone
I understand you completely! Even without exactly dedicating it to someone else, this song does remind me of someone I was pretty head up heels for. I remember sending this song to him and him getting a little sad and surprised that the meaning of the song was so sad, so "goodbye-ish". Which is funny, as not a month later, he was indeed saying goodbye. It's a bittersweet memory, but it's kind of befitting this song. Thankfully, I can fully appreciate it without the hurt that that memory brings.

I have that same feeling... It's hard to put aside our concerns, even when they don't appear to be necessary. I thought to my heart one love song was meant to a person whom I shared my days for long years. Nowadays it's hard to hear, exactly because all our journey was wasted by frivolous acts.

By the time this performance came out, I was crawling around my house, sad and lonely as I've never been. I was in a relationship that I cherished, but I was left neglected.
I remember finding this video and listening to it like Aurora herself was describing my feelings, my story with my partner... I remember watching it over and over, crying and feeling the physical pain of a broken heart.
“Forgetting why we fell in love hurts me the most” and “when I see you again as a stranger or a friend, would you give me a kiss from the past” were the lines from this beautiful song that helped me realize that I had to end it, and so I did.

Her live performances capture something truly unique, a particular indescribable sincerity and essence that doesn’t come across in typical studio recordings. I’m a big fan of hers but I exclusively listen to her live performances for this reason. What a wonderful artist!

I know this is out of context but I just want you to know how appreciative I am of you. I am one of the thousands of people who stayed up really late just to see your virtual concert. It was very moving and it made me think of things a little differently. I felt like I was a part of something bigger. I feel that sky is a very good community full of lots of understanding and kind people that if given the chance would want to make a difference in the world. Whenever I listen to her music it stirs something inside me to keep fighting and to keep going, to go outside, feel the wind again, listen to the birds singing, to want to feel alive.
I feel like in this day and age I’ve forgotten what it’s like to just live and experience every day instead of just surviving. I’ve struggled on and off with my mental health for the past few years but, every time I hear AURORA’s music it makes me feel at home, it helps quiet my mind.
Music really is such a special gift to have and it can’t be an easy career to have but I am so grateful for everyone working to create magic for us, the world needs more artists like you ❤
