Yeah, I haven't messed around with posing it much. But it's super difficult just to get it to stand up on it's own. And can't get the head to stay on firmly...
I prefer this to its RG counterpart. It is no where near as detailed, but it is far less flimsy. The waist on the RG struggles with the weight of the backpack.
The RG is not much more detailed. They have the exact same surface details, the only difference is the RG has a little bit more part separation on limbs.
I have this one and it's one of the best HG. I'm still looking forward the RG. The Rebawoo comes with a lot of parts and the effects from the Sinanju. I'm really in love with Char's and Full Frontal's models.
I'm looking at the rifle camera and it reminds me of how rifles in real life have an optic with no magnification and a secondary magnifier that sits behind the main optic to give the user magnification if desired. If you don't want magnification then all you have to do is flip it out of the way
To the people planning to buy RG I AM WARNING YOU BETTER GO FOR THIS IF YOU WANT A HOLDING UP WELL SINANJU XD and also you could go with the sinanju stein that thing is GOOD AF
yeah, i agree..this is really nice HG, if you have patience to putting up that stickers-slowly, precision and perfectly, it will be great in the result. The gimmick is nice also. I even still thinking until now, if i want to buy the RG version or not, because overall i already satisfied for my HG sinanju... :) RG sinanju still is not my top priority gunpla to get until now...by the way, that's just my opinion hahaha... and happy building!
Six years, that brings us back to _Gundam 00_, doesn't it? I guess the articulation is comparable to some kits, but not the 00. It does have some awesome accessories, though. But the question in my mind: Can it be built three times faster than other kits? I'm looking forward to seeing what the RG can do.
Well, the 00 line of HG were kinda dissapointing, lot of painting to be done there, but the UC were always pretty amazing, Katoki was behind all the designs and Bandai has a mutual love with Katoki as you guys know.
How do the stickers happen to hold up current day? I'm really kinda holding off on sinanju as a whole as of now cause on one side, the RG looks really nice but needs some gluing for I say a few parts at least. The HG I mean it's great from what I see but the stickers are what worry me. So unless the stickers do actually stay on(I'm careful when applying mine) than I'd have to go for the HG. It's just something thats kinda stressing me out a bit because I don't have a deal breaker
weird thing about the seam on the legs is that on the official art of the sinanju it has a panel line going down the side of it but there isn’t any panel line on the kit
The HGUC Sinanju Stein is probably a better kit. But you really can’t go wrong with either. It’s just that with the red Sinanju you have to use stickers or paint to get the gold lining
@@TY-PO HG Kampfer is better than the original HGUC Hyaku Shiki, but not better than the HGUC Hyaku Shiki Revive. But Kampfer is great for all the accessories
@@ZakuAurelius Thanks for the recommendations! I narrowed it down to the Kampfer and the Hyaku Shiki Revive. I’ll just get the Sinanju or it’s successor another time like during Christmas.👌
Customization question, I'm planning to add some pla plates to certain areas of it, like extra armor, but how can i cut out the right shape and size for the round, curved areas?? Like the shoulders for example.
I mean if it's rounded two ways, then you can bend plaplate around that. But if it's more like a dome shape then obviously you can't bend plaplate like that without essentially melting it, which is probably possible but I don't know about that.
That would not be great, sorry. That's very subjective and really shouldn't matter at all. Time it takes to complete a build depends on how much you wanna do, painting, modding, etc. Even just for snapping some people work at different speeds. There's no use in me saying it took me 4 hours, when for someone else it may only take three, or someone else may take six. See what I mean? It's just not really useful for anything.
It’s possible but if you’re gonna go that route I recommend letting the paint out into a paint tray/cup and painting it on with a small brush, rather that putting the marker directly to the kit
Friendly reminds, it's quite hard to get neo zeong right now and is not really worth it for that price, I suggest you get this one and the SD neo zeong no joke it's actually better than hg if you don't mind the cartoon stylish design
Thanks. I'm on the backorder list from hlj. I'm sure there are others way before me in line. I'm a stickler for scale. Pretty much been getting 1/144 UC kits exclusively. Mostly HG but a few RG mixed it. I'll either get it if hlj informs me of availability or that I reward myself from achieving my next goal of getting my cert, even if I pay more for it.
What I really want to get right now is the RG Zeta and hopefully they will make the Z-Variants and the ZZ/S/Ex-S Gundams. For some reason I could not bring myself to buy the Sinanju. I liked the Geara Zulu (Angelo Custom) and the original design, the Sinanju Stein more. Every time I look at the Sinanju it looks like an over designed Sazabi. Still its a fantasitc build if you have done there.
Well, the Sinanju whole point was to look like the Sazabi after it was stolen, that's why the red paint, the sleeved gold and the green fake monoeye (we all know that it still used the red eyes below as camera lenses). The Stein was pretty much designed as a gundam...and the Sinanju itself shows that when it comes to performance.
Both are great. If you don’t paint the Stein will probably look nicer out of the box because you have to use the gold stickers for all the lining on the Sinanju
ZakuAurelius hey,i was wondering how big is the arm of the sinanju without the shoulder between a hg zaku also without the shoulder.... do tell me which arm is bigger please i need and must to know
The RG achieves the gold and black parts by giving you undergated gold pieces with hollow sections that the piano black parts are slotted into. The HG, otoh, uses seals all over. As do the MGs. Well, the ver Ka. came with waterslides as an option. There are a few foil stickers for the RG, but they're incredibly minor details that would never be made into actual parts - probably even at 1/100 scale.
Looks great, but those stickers man.. The RG is gonna be worth it just for the sake of having the right color separation for the gold without stickers, let alone any differences/improvements in the frame that it might have.
Yeah I get what you mean, just saw your unboxing of the RG. Thanks for providing all the content you make to the community. Always looking forward to new stuff on your channel.
Mine didnt came off and its been there for like 4 months and its still looking like how it was when it was fresh out of the box, im surprised on how strong the stickers are
well it's really skill and the fact that he normally doesn't put to much work in for the sake of time... and yet somehow they all look better than mine....
You get used to build kits fast if you are straight building them. Cut, sand/cut nubs and put together. I personally take quite a lot of time with the detailing while Im building though.
Rare Egg here are the pros and cons you might wanna consider in each one of them: RG- shiny, great engineering, posable - fragile, loose, fingerprint-magnet MG- nice and big, posable - but very fragile as well, gold trims are stickers HG- more durable compared to those 2, not very loose -but has stickers for the gold trims, has no decals. Imo, I prefer the hg. But if you want an eye-catching display that you're not gonna move around frequently, go with the rg.
Yup, and comes with Alt parts to make it appear retracted so you can attach it to either the rifle, the shield, or both since you get two. However, when attached to the beam long rifle it gets way too heavy and drags the arm down much like its MG OVA counterpart.
After watching Gaikotsu's review of the RG, I'm definitely going with this HG instead. Maybe I'll try to hand paint the gold trim or something.
yeah i saw his review, rather unfortunate. I've just finished the RG and I'll be filming my review today.
+ZakuAurelius Did you run into the same problems he did?
Yeah, I haven't messed around with posing it much. But it's super difficult just to get it to stand up on it's own. And can't get the head to stay on firmly...
ZakuAurelius darn. Part of me was clinging onto the hope that it was just an issue with his copy.
Mine came out good the only problems I have are the knee covers and the hand cuffs
I prefer this to its RG counterpart. It is no where near as detailed, but it is far less flimsy. The waist on the RG struggles with the weight of the backpack.
I recommend the HG if you are going to play with it and the RG if you are just gonna put it in a pose and not touch it ever again
and ive heard the rg is REALLY unstable so im probably gonne get the hg instead
The RG is not much more detailed. They have the exact same surface details, the only difference is the RG has a little bit more part separation on limbs.
I'm not really bothered by the limited articulation.
In my opinion you could have the Sinanju in a T-pose and it would still look awesome.
Lol I can already see your sinanju asserting his dominance over your shelf and other models by T posing XD

I used a gold Gundam marker on my HGUC Sinanju and it turned out looking good. This and the stein are a couple of really cool model kits

barron leg no actually. I wanted to do a miss sazabi style custom of the sinanju.
how did it go?
I know I’m late to the video, but is the Sinanju Stein a better kit than Full Frontal’s Red Sinanju? I can’t decide which High Grade to get:/

for rounded areas you might be better off using putting then sanding it. If you can use pla-plate, gotta go thin like 0.3mm or something.
So, with the rounded areas, you said to use putty, but when you mentioned the pla plates, you meant on the rounded areas, or another area??

which version version of the sinanju is better, the hg, rg or the mg?

Nope, he will never get it
How tall is the sinanju compare to a normal size MG?
It's smaller, even when this kit is 24 meters IRL, it doesnt change the fact that its a 1/144. Think of it as an smaller MG, like the Victory.

Perhaps, but the detail of the gold on the RG isn't as sharp. Just depends on what you want for the look. Painting this is not that complicated.

Honestly the only disappointment of this kit is the effect parts not looking vigorous enough

"stickers dont look that bad". trust me dude, give it a week or two and you'll notice them start to come off, i know from experience
