This is true. There is a scene after the failed hijacking of the Alex where Bernie and Al try and retrieve the other trucks of weapons, but find them being towed away for unpaid parking.
Also during the briefing before the failed attack Misha, even explains exactly where he placed the weapon trucks.

I had a master grade version I built over a decade ago. My kids destroyed most of my creations by playing with them but it’s all good. I really loved that kit maybe one day I’ll build it again.

Yan Jirujan Robot Spirits is not expensive when you think about the fact that Robot Spirits has resale value and Gunpla does not. You’ll get the money back you invested with Robot Spirits
For your country, maybe. For mine, it doesn't. I don't think it does for Japan either.
Robot Spirits Guren type SPECIAL and Lancelot SIN were both sold for 80$ or 70$ as MSRP. I went to Ebay and Mandarake and find them for 45$ and below. Hell, I even found the Guren for 25$ and jumped on it.
Same goes Robot Spirits Destiny Impulse, Barbatos, GP01, and several others. They were sold for roughly 60-70$ only to drop by 30-40.
So, Robot Spirits is expensive at launch but it really doesn't have much resale value for whatever reason. The only Robot Spirits whose value keeps going up is the Robot Sprits Evangelion and the Metal Builds. But that's because of their IPs and Metal Builds are just cash cows. This is probably why the new Robot Spirits F91's SRP is 40$. Bandai probably realized that they were going too far.
So, you might as well wait for a kit that costs only 15-20$ that you can find a hobby shop instead of hunting down a 30-50$ figure.
Besides, I'm not buying a figure for its resale value. I'm here to buy a figure to be a figure that I could display on the shelf and maybe toy with it for a while.
So, why won't I buy the Robot Spirits? Because I want a figure that I can build which makes the figure kinda unique and personal to me. Simple.
I mean, the product isn't that expensive (based on Japan Yen currency), but my country's money currency is hitting rock bottom for past few years. Some older Robot Spirits have same price as average HG (around $20), like Superbia GN-X.
But lots of store in my country didn't know Robot Spirits until Bandai release the Ver. A.N.I.M.E. and around that time, overseas product become expensive when it get inside my country

Just finished building this. It was a pretty simple yet nice kit and the articulation was pretty impressive for a HG.
Except for the legs right 😞
@@stiffslayer355The limited articulation of the legs is pretty much inherent to the design. You can probably get a little bit more out of the Ver ANIME Robot Spirits figure.

Seriously though, this review helped me make up my min(e)d and I'm now eagerly awaiting this kit's arrival.
This one looks like a fun project to bring to it's full potential, I just brought one yesterday but I also lend my tools to a friend so my Kämpfer will have to wait
ok, I just noticed that the two mobile suits in the intro are "the GM custom, and the always bulky, Zaku three." And they are even on the same sides as the comparison.

Man I wish the Kampher got more love in the shows it is such a dope suit.
It is a dope suit, but it’s for a very specific niche. It’s a spec ops unit meant to be shipped behind enemy lines in pieces, put together, attack with lightning speed, and then get the fuck out. It’s fast, but it has basically no armor and no operational time. It’s really good at the specific role it was designed for, but it sucks at anything outside of that role. So, there probably isn’t much use for the Kämpfer in the shows outside of War in the Pocket.
On my Kämpfer I painted the thrusters with metallic gold, giving it that "jet engine" look while still maintaining a similar style
Shame the shotguns don’t have a pump feature. Thankfully, the shotguns from the fmp arbelast show that they learned a lot since then
great review. this suit was my very first ever MG kit I bought. I know this review is for the HGUC one but just reminds me just how cool both kits look
Yes, the truck is plan by cyclops team, they mentioned few times, especially when Barny mentioned when he decided to fight, he need to retrieve the left over (including the axe he use to chop alex head) for the last fight.
I own that same model kit you built, I even customized it in red colors.
The kampfer might show its age but with all the accessories it’s one of the best kits I have seen.
Really, really loving this one, just building it and it looks so good, colors, shapes~
The Kämpfer is hands down my favorite Zeon Mobile Suit.
I have one of these I’ve yet to build, only because of where I’m living at. It’s easily one of my top favorite Zeon Mobile Suits.
The MG kampfer was my first ever Gunpla back when I was 12ish. It was kinda beat up and neglected but a while ago I resurrected it and gave it custom paint and it's way better now.

The Kempfer is my Favorite MS, and will get a couple of these.
The show explicitly states that the Cyclops team planted those trucks. They didnt even use them all, since Bernie went back for the rest in the last episode and found them all confiscated save one, and Al pretended to be a war orphan to distract the guards so Bernie can steal the last truck for the grenades and the heat hawk.

They had three trucks located in different areas with a random choice of weapon(s) which was shown and talked about lol
More mobile suits could use shotguns. Would help swat smaller vehicles. plus it'd be good for hitting vulnerable targets like sensors, joints, etc.

Get the Robot Spirits Kampfer. It will blow you away. I like my HGUC one but it just doesn't measure up to the RS version.

I know this doesn’t portray to the HGUC Kämpfer but I just built up the HGUC ZZ Gundam and I love it. Buti couldn’t find a FAZZ HGUC, did you ever review the old HG or 1/144th FAZZ in the Gundam Sentinel colors?
Afaik, there's no HG FAZZ(from ZZ), only the old 1/144 FAZZ (from Sentinel). I might have a look at that thing once I get through the G-unit kits.

Always felt bad the Alex cheaped out and had other armor plating on it. If not for that the chainmine would have taken it down

I accidentally put the chain mines in the wrong hand when I got it so when I went to take the chain mines out I kinda snapped the part that keeps the hands together

This guy in Battle Operation 2 is a pain in my ass. He shows up, outa now where. If you're a spec'd out Zudah, I mean normal Zudah, you can wipe the floor with him because his stats suck. Just kite him with your Machine Gun and Sturm Fausts.
Damn the stagger stun lock into melee knock down. Damn it all to hell. One of these days I'ma plant that 680 from the Xamel in his damn leg and then we'll see if he can keep being annoying.
That aside, this kit's package makes it look a bit older. I was right, it is old.

Officially, they can be fired with or without pump-action. Although I don't think it's ever stated what advantages there are to either method.

Yeah I noticed this as well the more recent re-productions of the Kampfer definitely feel less vibrant in color but honestly I personally prefer this
