This is why i searched for my 6 MT RWD M240i for months...6MT MK5 Supra is exepensive AF... I am so lucky i found my M240i its on Stage 2 E30 and its dumb fast, yet still very daily-able
Heck yeah! Car looks like an absolute blast to drive. We're glad the clutch worked out. The 1000 Series starts out a bit stiff but they definitely break in nicely, but that's the small price you pay for a clutch that can handle over 1000ft.lbs! Looking forward to seeing the owner continue to develop this car and see how far they take it. I'm sure for the time being they just want to enjoy it as is though.
CES is great to work with. They are currently helping me do a Pure 800/ E40/ meth tune and they really put in a lot of time and effort with great communication. Highly recommend if you want your car done right.
Does CES also offer E-Tunes or these tunes are only available if you come to the shop ? Also, who exactly is the owner of this Supra ? Can you drop their IG or YT if they have social media. I'd love to see some more pulls in this thing. Links in your description for tunes and whatnot dont seem to work BTW.
The S58 just moved the game on so much further! It's a completely different engine and not just a strengthend M-Lite motor. There is no way that one can justify any B58 powered car over the S58 equivalent, Supra vs. G87 M2 is pretty much a no-brainer at the same price point. Dyno results show that the new M2 makes around 540hp at the crank, stock, with pump fuel. This is significantly more than BMW quoted and almost the same as this modified Supra running meth! Crazy.
I agree with everything you’ve said, however for those of us requiring 4 doors, the B58 models (M340i/X3 M40) are a far better bang for buck as compared to their S58 counterparts (M3/X3M)
@Sostre360 I agree with you there, especially since they are just much more attainable. Also, almost any affordable second-hand B58 powered car that you modify will be better value for money since it's relatively easy and affordable to extract more power out of it. No doubt! However, for me, at least here in South Africa, the prices of a new Supra and a G87 M2 are fairly similar. The only reason I made that comment is just to slow down the B58 hype train for anyone looking to buy something new in the form of a sports car, especially to modify, like the Supra in this case. It's a great engine, but don't buy a new Supra with the intention of modifying it because of its B58. Your money would be better spent on the M2. It is mechanically superior in almost every aspect.
depends on your goals, if you want to stop around 700 yes the s58 is more cost effective, however for big power 1k+ the b58 has more support and more production and typically would be cheaper in the long run. Not to mention the m2 is not the same car as this at all, entirely different platform, suspension and size. Around a track the mk5 has proven to be one of the most capable out of the newest releases. Also I know you're in different country but in the states the m2 is $20-30k more@@kratos9223
B58 Gang 🔥
The B58 is nuts? Yeah, we know this. Gods engine.
I can hear the turbo flutter between gear changes, nice. The manual MK5 Supra is most definitely the one to have.
2JZ before, B58 now… the Supra has always been blessed by the engine gods
@3:35 thats a crazy grip technique ya got goin on love to see it!

Nice 👍
Do you have stock clutch? I have M240i manual too with sports cat, But dont know if stock clutch will hold stage 2 tune.
Finally got my hands on a manual. Currently in the shop for PPF/tint, then it's mod planning time!

Awesome! Glad to help 💪🏽
That torque curve when all out and not detune is nuts!
I love your ‘reviews’ because the cars are actually tastefully modified.
Got a 1 of 500 A91 loving this beast!
Any concerns about the rear end/axles holding up?
So which one are you buying since I’ve seen 3 videos saying “time to buy…”
How are they getting a tune done? Thought the ECU was locked. Did they get it cloned?
Femto unlock sir
Did they finally get rid of the manual shift bog in the new b58s
Love how this all came together. Great job all around 🍻
Thank you! Cheers!
What mods does this car have to produce these numbers? Is it just a tune and flex fuel?
I thought the ecu was locked how did u tune it?
Is the bov stock? I can't hear it at all.
Toyota really mastered the manual for this car the new m2 is not nearly as fun or engaging I’ve heard.
Is it worth it?! I'm unsure if I want my next car to be a v8 or tt 6cylinder
I miss the Supra. Love that build
Whats in the Blk MK5 @ 4:32? I have the same Weld Racing Drag Package.

Still running stock GR oil (0w-20)?
Great vid as always! Does CES generally do custom tunes off the MHD platform?? I'm conflicted which route I want to go for my n55.
They do both
Im on the stg 2 E30 on MHD but dont see a E40 option, is it the same tune but just put more E85?

CES offers all level of tunes in and out of shop. Hit them up for info. I don’t have Supra owners social unfortunately
Would love to hear about how it’s tuned I have a 22 on jb4 but looking for a real tune

Nope. I installed it correctly.
Auto Gang
😂
When my clutch goes, I’ll replace it with that 👍
what does the stock clutch hold?
good up until about 500-550hp
@@justsomerandomguymannot bad so basically stage 2 93
What happened to the modification diy videos?
Don’t have any mods to install right now
Dude please!!! I’ve been holding out for you to come back to the dark side!!
website is down?
Thing is… no… it’s NOT time to buy any car lol. Have you seen the interest rates?
Refinancing in the future is an option. Buying a MT Supra may not especially in this price range at MSRP
i think u get a manual g87
Toyota manual is wayyy better then bmw
NICE 👍
A German class A engine is the best japanese engine ever.
You won't buy a 6MT A90. You've said it's too small of a car.
Maybe I won’t. Maybe I will. You don’t know lol
Dope

The G87 M2 weighs 3800lbs dumbass. The Supra would destroy that car with the same amount of money put into it. Keep walking 🚶♀️

The S58 has 2 turbos and comes in a car that weighs 500 pounds more than the Supra.
