Would you say that you have large hands, at least in comparison to the guitar's neck's width? My hands aren't too small but I'd struggle to get my thumb over the top string and still get the rest of the chord, and I'm wondering whether its more dexterity or hand size. It's not too bad as I know you don't *have* to use your thumb but I'm wondering if I'd even be able to.
Very interesting question, I’d say my hands are larger than average, which helps a lot with wrapping my thumb around the neck, but I also know people who cannot do it due to their hands being too small to get it wrapped around the neck. It could be one, the other, or a mix of both. But you can always find ways around using your thumb with barring the fret
@@lukepruiett3899 Thanks for the reply! And also thank you so much for your version of this song, it's the best single-guitar cover of it that I've heard.
Sorry I didn’t respond fast! It can be very hard to get down with the pinky, but if it’s difficult you can always play a normal c chord at the root position A-3 D-2 B-1
bro you’re like the only one on the internet that teaches talk of the town that good

You did an amazing job because there are multiple guitars on the track. Jack himself doesn’t perform it this detailed the rare times he did!!
Thank you! I’m glad this version can be a little more complex for the solo player
I was looking at your other videos and damn your underrated lmao
Thanks!
Thanks alot man! Ive always wanted to know how to play this one, also your voice is really nice 👌
It feels impossible for me to barre in the two C chords using my pinky. How do I improve my pinky's ability to hold the strings down?

Great tutorial man!
It’s ridiculous to me Luke that there are so views to this video. That was a great lesson and you have tremendous talent.
