  • Former (haunted?) mining train tunnel on Gold Camp road, near Cripple Creek, CO. Originally a mining narrow gauge line established to move materials down the mountain, engineers blasted through 9 tunnels. The treachery of the trail combined with severe erosion led the line to shut down in the 1920s, where they turned it into a drivable
    Many of the tunnels have collapsed, while some remain drivable today.
