Just did mine, I gotta say, hats off to you man, I TRIED to do this with the wheel still attached and good lord it was just not gonna happen. Well done and much respect on you patience
For those looking to do this yourself - it is way more difficult than any of these tutorials lead on. I have a 2020 Ranger that I’ve done plenty of mods on myself. I watched this and other videos, and thinking I was up to the job, I ordered a cover made for my Ranger. It seemed tedious, but they don’t emphasize just how difficult getting the cover tucked under oem trim can be. I quit and tossed the cheap thing out before I damaging my wheel or trim. Just live with what you’ve got - this is not worth the headache.
I'm glad you had the heated steering wheel and included that fact and tested it out in this video. Exactly what I was concerned about... If you do see this comment you still recommend it?

Looks way better than I was expecting!
Haha thanks!
Great video! I just bought an east detailing wrap for my 2020 Chevy Silverado. Thanks for taking the time for walking us through your best practices.
You can find them all over amazon and eBay. Search for carbon fiber steering wheel bezel. Or you and remove the stock piece and wrap it
Blue stitching looks sick!
I just ordered mine with red stitching and red on 12 o’clock marker for my Taurus
Thank you! They look great you should enjoy the new look!
How has your experience been with it so far? Did it held up over time?

Great job. How much ya charge to do same on a wheel ? I couldn't even watch the stitching segment. Anxiety..... ;)
Your video helped me! Thank you so much man
Do you think I would have been easier to take the wheel all the way off and remove the trim for tucking purposes?
Question, where did you get the carbon fiber steering wheel bezel? I've been looking for one for my 2018 Raptor. Thanks for the videos!
Hey man, great video! How has the cover held up over time?
How long did it take to stitch it? Not sure I have the patience. Haha. Great video.
Haha I hear.that. it wasn't too bad though maybe off and on 2- 2 1/2 hours. I took a break part of the way through myself.
How does this stand up 9 months later?
How's it holding up?
How do you end each piece? The instructions say knot by lighter.
how many times did you accidentally blow the horn while doing this? haha
Haha once actually and I almost stabbed myself with the damn needle
Do you think there would be enough room to put a thin strip of padding under the cover to make the wheel slightly thicker?
No its a pretty tight fit the way it is.
Just my personal opinion but padded covers have never felt right, you want a solid tactile surface.
Why didn't I get an instruction sheet!?
promosm 😞
