I think the ending where you break the loop and are left alone in your apartment with your selfdoubt telling you to hurry to the actual date leads into the good ending where we see Aaron-Joshua celebrating his actual anniversary with Karen. I have no insight on the goose ending though and I imagine that's the point of it.

From what I took from this is you can never actually move on and find true love if you don't love yourself. Even if you are somewhat a cold or miserable person, your heart just aches to be loved. You develop self lots of self doubt, and no matter how much you try to find someone, you just continue the cycle of disappointment and often times attract someone who either worsens you or wants nothing to do with you because "you too are miserable." There is a way out, and it's not always a person who will make you feel worthy; it's how you make you feel worthy. Then there's the goose...🤨

As someone with depression and anxiety this game makes a lot of sense i can say i found myself in this scenario more than once. sometimes you just refuse a great opportunity just because you're afraid of what might happen when in reality there's no way to know, your mind creates all these scenarios where stuff goes wrong or stuff goes right and it all becomes so overwhelming you might decide to stop and just stay home. All the endings are the true ending at some extent, he imagined all of them, his anxiety showed him all of them but YOU as a person get to decide which one is the real ending, you decide if that loop happens again or not. I myself have to get out of the loop still

It took me a long time to be comfortable with someone long enough to stay in a relationship. My fiance and I have been together for 7 years and we have a daughter who is wonderful. I still think I'm gross, awkward, stupid, and boring but being around him changes that. He finds me beautiful, funny, and loves to talk to me still. There are rough moments where we get stupid angry and argue about dumb shit, but we learn and grow from it. It didn't happen overnight but it just works for us. From what I took from this is you can never actually move on and find true love if you don't love yourself. Even if you are somewhat a cold or miserable person, your heart just aches to be loved. You develop self lots of self doubt, and no matter how much you try to find someone, you just continue the cycle of disappointment and often times attract someone who either worsens you or wants nothing to do with you because "you too are miserable." There is a way out, and it's not always a person who will make you feel worthy; it's how you make you feel worthy.

As someone with depression and anxiety this game makes a lot of sense i can say i found myself in this scenario more than once. sometimes you just refuse a great opportunity just because you're afraid of what might happen when in reality there's no way to know, your mind creates all these scenarios where stuff goes wrong or stuff goes right and it all becomes so overwhelming you might decide to stop and just stay home. All the endings are the true ending at some extent, he imagined all of them, his anxiety showed him all of them but YOU as a person get to decide which one is the real ending, you decide if that loop happens again or not. I myself have to get out of the loop still
I know I'm probably in the minority, but I'm really sick of horror games where depression / anxiety was the villain all along. I never feel like they're as clever or as relatable as they're trying to be, and generalized "you suck, you're a failure, you're unlovable, you're crazy, etc." comments from a video game don't really make me feel rattled, just mildly annoyed and tired.

It took me a long time to be comfortable with someone long enough to stay in a relationship. My fiance and I have been together for 7 years and we have a daughter who is wonderful. I still think I'm gross, awkward, stupid, and boring but being around him changes that. He finds me beautiful, funny, and loves to talk to me still. There are rough moments where we get stupid angry and argue about dumb shit, but we learn and grow from it. It didn't happen overnight but it just works for us. We both found things we really like and enjoy in each. we reflect each other and have enough similarities for things to flow, but there's enough differences to keep us interested. I will say the hardest thing I have learned in love is that you can fall really hard for a person, and they can't return the feelings. what you're falling for is the person's qualities and how it makes you feel; so if it doesn't work out keep looking for the qualities you want and you will stumble into something great.
