You can use a different element heavy since it buffs weapon damage in general after Solar kills. Also if you feeling a bit supportive I recommend going Phoenix Cradle since it buffing teammates is always fun. Gotta love Sunspots
@@thatguyyouhate3743 True but maybe in certain activities where you may need a different element for shields or in scenarios if you aren't using Font of might.
I've been using something kind of similar but it focuses mainly on an Empty Vessel with Spike Grenades, Lead from Gold and Demolitionist to create well. You can use most of the same mods here except switch out grenade focused mods for artifact mods to deal with champions and run a bow or auto rifle as needed in primary slot. 1k Voices goes in heavy and the only ammo finder you need is Fusion since EV has Lead from Gold. Forces you to use heavy a little bit more but I've found you get all the heavy bricks that you need. Firewalker + Font of Might is awesome and melts everything. Used the build in a VOG, switch to Cartesian Coordinate for Atheon and was top in damage after taking out some supplicants and getting some wells
The Sola’s Scar sword works great when you have Chain Reaction and the Jotunn also makes elemental wells with this build so have some fun with the TOASTER

@@Lee-qq4rb You tried this build in a GM? What are your thoughts on it? I noticed that my grenade wasn't even one hitting red bars, so I was getting a lot less wells.
Ticuu’s is another great use in this build! Kind of meta built this in my head when the season launched, but the information on the font of might was new to me, and I figured you could run a build that looks something like: firewalkers x 4, Solar Well mod&font of might, and since firewalker is the same buff as CW/L, you can sub out TC&HEF for Rage and Wrath. Then on your class item you can stick PD and Focusing Lens, boots w/ rage, chest w/wrath. Arms will the well spawn and head with font of might. Vex for some reason can spawn warminds with it’s laser as long as the de-materializing body can damage another enemy. Idk how, all I know is it has happened for me. This kind of build would allow you to run all 3 buff types; Warmind Cells, CW/L, and Wells. It would also mean your Vex would be doing: +35% (firewalker), +25% (solar well), +50% (particle Deconstruction), and an additional 20% (i believe) if you’re using solar and a striketeam member is using stasis from the focusing lens. and you will still be able to spawn warmind cells! This build have potential to just wreck havoc. I’ve personally stopped centralizing my build around warmind cells, but I like to leave the one that solar explosions spawn them, but i usually use a rocket launcher, and like I said about vex and ticuu’s, they’ll be insanely viable this season with their champ mods. Lots of fun build crafting this season!
Possible alternate build - armour Hallowfire Heart, weapon - Jotunn. Heart speeds up ability recharge when your supers full & Jotunn is Sunshot on steroids with tracking. If your primary has Grenadier, it's even more fun.
I finally sat down last night and put this build together, and holy crap. I haven't had this much fun blowing stuff up in awhile! I felt bad for the folks in my Strikes trying to get sword kills while I just blew everything up on the map. A+ build.
I use the ticcus and sunbracers . Hip fire the bow to weaken enemies . Melee to start explosions everywhere. Then nuke everything with grenades. Works for everything up to grandmaster.
Just FYI, you can also do something similar to this with contraverse hold, top tree void warlock, vortex grenade and mods for however you see fit, Yada Yada. Making it feel like sunbracers but void. I've gotten off 3 -4 vortex grenades before the new mods. Hope this helps
I've been a Titan since I started playing last year. This season I wanted switch it up and use my Warlock. I put this build together with what I had available......all I can say is I am the fire god.
Font of wisdom works well with this. I run top tree dawnblade with elemental light elimental charge font of wisdom and we'll of ordinance. Picking up wells grants you increased ability regen for 30 seconds gives back a portion of Ur grenades and charges you with light. Run weapons with demolitionist to charge your super and you will rarely not have an ability. Pair this with sunbracers and melee kills give you unlimited grenades for a short time. And with heat rises you literally become a flying god raining fire from the sky or go middle tree and become the ultimate healer with Ur grenades healing and casting over shield on alies.
Curious how this works with Ashen Wakes, since in PVE, you need either a big enough target or multiple to get full energy back, but this cocktail of mods could maybe solve that?
I've been running something similar to this build with ashen wake. 2 kickstarters, 2 well of ordnance I can get a single kill and have my grenade back if I pick up the well.
You are a tinkering machine my man! Another crazy build. I just literally completed the catalyst yesterday on sunshot and it is so much easier to handle the recoil now. Great build
If you want a similar build without as many specific mods top tree dawnblade with sunbracers basically gives you infinite grenade energy permanently as long as there’s at least 1 enemy you can melee kill. Use explosive wellmaker and font of might for your weapon damage buff as if you’ll need it(use it and you’ll see 5 grenades does far more damage than you think) or you can use the one mod that makes well charge you with light and the charged with light mod that makes it so you get super energy for throwing your grenade while charged with light plus double ashes to assets to get your super stupidly fast. I’m talking 2-3 times a boss fight in a strike
Something kinda cool that I haven't really seen anyone talk about is that Igniting Touch (bottom tree Dawn) works with Burning Cells. It's fun to see enemies explode just by blowing up a Cell
do the same build except add melee wellmaker and use middle tree titan with severance enclosure and you will have LITERALLY infinite wells spawning. You can also use well of life for even more survivability if you need it with the hammer
Well of Life isn't quite as good as it's not giving an instant chunk of health, its commencing health regen when you pick up the well. Enemies shooting you interferes with it. Which is fine in lower Tier stuff but not ideal in NFs etc.
Just tried the titan version with sunshot, its kinda underwhelming tbh. Its good for trash clearing, but i really can't get decent single target damage out of it. Same mods and everything. Maybe im just spoilt with the vex desintegration font of might that i ran before. I'll try the warlock one with dawn chorus i guess. Titan is going back to missile.
If you want a legendary alternative to Sunshot so you can use an exotic heavy, Empty Vessel is a solar grenade launcher that can roll with Ambitious Assassin and Demolitionist. It's my go-to weapon for bottom tree Dawnblade. For the Titan build, couldn't you also use fusion grenades with Ashen Wake to get grenade energy back on kills? You wouldn't have as much Sunshot damage, but way more grenades.
Ehroar if you ever see this. *power preservation stasis helmet mod *bottom tree tether *taking charge *stacks on stacks *striking light *masterworked sword *powerful friends (better already on void boots) As the build has no weapon damage buff. I've been running a build similar to this for a while now, and I've loved every second of it. I just use a sword as my heavy because.. well I am a Titan main lol
Try similar with top tree dawnblade and sunbracers. 2x ashes to assets. Eat nade, float around with a solar primary (vex or sunshot are good). Melee kill from my the air, rain fire nades, repeat. If you wiff your melee float and shoot to recharge it.
If you guys hadn't realized it yet, the anteater code always shows up during Astral Alignment when you farm the taken/scorn spawning in the blind well instead of focusing on the boss. It doesn't matter what build you are running, it kicks you because you are not contributing.
This build is alot of fun. I never thought much of elemental wells, but this makes them worth using lol I put the same mods & weapons on a hunter with bombardiers and middle gunslinger. Playing with fire flows really well with everything. Awesome vid dude!
I literally just put together an exlosive titan build a few day ago. Only difference is that I use severance enclosure and the healing finishers mod since I don't have a well-rolled corsair. I also use ticuu's revelation on fights that require a bit more range like soloing the cube room in prophecy
Just found myself a servant leader with osmosis on it to pair with the titan build. The synergy is unbelievable. Throw a grenade to switch to solar for the servant leader melee kill to get a well and proc Sun fire kill things at range. Also amazing because I can pair Cartesian fusion with vorpal and anarchy just for extra damage. I thought I would share for anyone else to try. I think you can do this with the judgement hand cannon too.
I've been using sunbracers + 2x ashes to assets and top tree dawnblade. Melee, infinite grenades, glide while grenades are killing enemies to fill melee again repeat. The wells get me a super every 30 - 40ish seconds in rooms that have lots of enemies
It would probably still do some damage but nothing like what's going on in the video. Only because the enemies in this video are much weaker then the nightfall guys.
You can do this with hunter if you run young ahamkaras spine and blade barrage, will literally keep getting your grenade back and if you mess up your knives will give energy back
This build without overload mods is melting overloads in seconds in Master difficulty Nightfalls already. 3-4 shots at most with sunshot because there's so much damage coming in from everywhere.
@@THEGRUMPTRUCK i can believe that but once GMs are back available i don’t see there being enough output to kill a champ without a stun but i could very easily be wrong if the damage buffs all stack high enough i guess
Also works very well with Ticcu's Divination. Fully buffed, your hip fire can one shot red bars and cause explosions so you LITERALLY don't even have to aim. Also good for overload champs.
I feel like these videos don’t talk about endgame pve at all, which is where buildcrafting matters the most. It would be nice if you compared this build/showed gameplay in nightfalls, or GMs so we can gauge it’s true usefulness
I'm pretty positive the anteater thing is because of Astral Alignment. That mode for whatever reason lags the netcode, sometimes it lags out so hard, your loot from the chest doesn't drop until much after you're done with the activity. I had it anteater me twice yesterday.
We did that today. All with mythoclasts and the steppes. Atheon became basicly a dog toy. I think the game only crashes because of those sunshot explosions. But the mythoclast deals way more boss damage I think
The most fun dmg dealing I've been doing is super simple. Malfeasance + Lucky Pants + Null Composure + Particle Deconstructor. I don't really like Fusion Rifles and Linears but I have to admit they're great at boss melting now.
So I've been trying this build since you posted it and outside of the 3 weekly strikes, its quite useless. As soon as there is Match game, Champions or many Majors, the sinergy is lost. You can use a heavy with a different element to cover 66% of match game shields. With Champions you basically depend on the arms mods, so you have to weaken the build.
Hell ya, thanks. Been meaning to test a Chrysler Mellow Auto Rifle build with Burning Steps but this looks insane. Really need a new ornament for the Burning Steps so it doesn't look like we skipped all the leg days. Path of the Tiny Feet
Phoenix Cradle > Path of Burning Steps. As you said, the weapon damage increase from Steps is redundant with the sun warrior damage increase. Phoenix Cradle makes sun warrior last twice as long, which means you will pretty much always have the buff. Also allies will get sun warrior from your sunspots as well, making the build not only good on it's own but also very good team synergy as you constantly give your allies increased melee and grenade recharge and a damage boost.
@@BigSpazzard I’ll give you that one, Mods vs an Exotic. Then I have to ask the question of why is a weapon Exotic providing better damage than an Exotic that boosts ability damage? The thing that isn’t constant and requires stacks.
I wanna try this build with Sunbracers. Double solar nades on this build would essentially give me 100% grenade uptime. Then I can spec to have a lower recov Stat and put those points into something like resil (while still maintaining 100 discipline) so I can be a walking tanking nuke. Love these build videos so much man, thank you
Has anyone actually tried this build? I did but it just doesn’t seem to work well in anything other than normal lost sectors and patrols. Any kind of end game content destroys be.
You're doing something wrong then. If you follow the build to the T, you'll be able to solo Master lost sectors as if they were normal lost sectors. It is that stupid.
Finally after weeks of attempting to get the mods, I got this fully built. Or almost, I’m still one off but otherwise the build still works. Positives first. This build is hilariously good. Most PVE game modes I’ll drop double the kills of anybody on the team. It works so well. Except for the fact that during end game content you’re kinda useless. Not having any room for overload, barrier, or unstoppable mods seriously hinders you in any activity where champions are common. Even some yellow bars are too beefy for this build to work if you don’t have the ads to get your stacks. It’s really fun and I recommend it to everyone. Just have something else on hand for end game stuff.
This is a lot of fun to play with. Nice job with putting this together. I've also been having a lot of fun with essentially taking the same build and using Khepri's Horn instead and it's insanely fun, especially in dense areas. Just spamming fire barricades all over, haha. Good times.
I've used a similar build this season but with ashen wake + roaring flames + fusion grenades. Insane uptime on roaring flames along with throwing hammer and melee wellmaker. I'm stoked for solar subclasses to get the statis treatment to hopefully have roaring flames with normal hammers too.
I stumbled upon something similar, but I have to stop in the sunspot long enough to recharge grenade and melee as I'm not using wells. While in the sunspot, I use Crimson to continuously heal. The result- less explosions, but just as tanky. It works amazing for the ascendant whatever activity. I'll have to give this a try! I'll be sad to have to give up the mod slots, but I have to try it!
Don't forget that the Firewalker perk boosts ALL weapon damage, not just solar weapon damage. So you only need 1 solar weapon/subclass equipped and you can buff all your equipped weapons.

Try similar with top tree dawnblade and sunbracers. 2x ashes to assets. Eat nade, float around with a solar primary (vex or sunshot are good). Melee kill from my the air, rain fire nades, repeat. If you wiff your melee float and shoot to recharge it.
I was already using the sunshot and warmind build last season with energy axelerent
If you guys hadn't realized it yet, the anteater code always shows up during Astral Alignment when you farm the taken/scorn spawning in the blind well instead of focusing on the boss.
It doesn't matter what build you are running, it kicks you because you are not contributing.
We need some hunter builds now my man, it’s all warlocks and Titans, I need some hunter theorycrafts please!
Hunters aren't so flexible for crazy builds tbh.
Simple, get lucky pants, equip a hand cannon, profit
@@beni6533 not exactly exciting or creative
@@xScatmanChris86 true, sadly that’s the hunter meta tho. Hunters have been shafted for too long imo
@@xScatmanChris86 idk about that it’s pretty exciting melting bosses with a primary. Honestly vex does it better anyway tho
This build is alot of fun. I never thought much of elemental wells, but this makes them worth using lol I put the same mods & weapons on a hunter with bombardiers and middle gunslinger. Playing with fire flows really well with everything. Awesome vid dude!
That build would work well with ticcus for GM content!
maybe i should bust it out i dont think i have the cat for ticcu
I literally just put together an exlosive titan build a few day ago. Only difference is that I use severance enclosure and the healing finishers mod since I don't have a well-rolled corsair. I also use ticuu's revelation on fights that require a bit more range like soloing the cube room in prophecy
Us- *using this build
Game- “Aight I’m out”
It's not the build it's the mode, I've crashed it just by using top tree tether.
@@AlexEatsCats its a joke bro dont take it that literally
@@finleymillen802 Excuse me?
@@AlexEatsCats one....
Should have shown gameplay with champs. Thanks again for another awesome build. This is probably the bat of the season as you are maining a titan
I've been using sunbracers + 2x ashes to assets and top tree dawnblade.
Melee, infinite grenades, glide while grenades are killing enemies to fill melee again repeat.
The wells get me a super every 30 - 40ish seconds in rooms that have lots of enemies
Can you do gameplay in master nightfall instead of the weak ones .
It would probably still do some damage but nothing like what's going on in the video. Only because the enemies in this video are much weaker then the nightfall guys.
You can do this with hunter if you run young ahamkaras spine and blade barrage, will literally keep getting your grenade back and if you mess up your knives will give energy back
ticcu’s + starfire + withering heat all synergize with this build incredibly well too, with ticcu’s being a better option than sunshot bc overload imo
Imagine a full raid team running the titan set up.
They one phase the boss and all crash at the same time lol
Ah a classic server melter build, I like it
We did that today.
Jep, as soon as the enemies are even SLIGHTLY beefier then a standard Strike/ lost Sector this completely falls apart.
@@christophfischer4796 yeah, that's why he didn't show any tanky enemy fights video with this build lol
I mean worked fine for me in high lost sectors : P
Hell ya, thanks. Been meaning to test a Chrysler Mellow Auto Rifle build with Burning Steps but this looks insane. Really need a new ornament for the Burning Steps so it doesn't look like we skipped all the leg days. Path of the Tiny Feet
Time to give our enemies WW2 flashbacks
You mean Vietnam
@@dubsax4allgaming207 i dont recall nukes being dropped in nam
Phoenix Cradle > Path of Burning Steps. As you said, the weapon damage increase from Steps is redundant with the sun warrior damage increase. Phoenix Cradle makes sun warrior last twice as long, which means you will pretty much always have the buff. Also allies will get sun warrior from your sunspots as well, making the build not only good on it's own but also very good team synergy as you constantly give your allies increased melee and grenade recharge and a damage boost.
Why is Bungie so scared to give a mod to boost grenade damage but let something like Lucky Pants roam free? -.-
Because lucky pants is an exotic and mods aren't? You kind of answered your own question
Love these build videos so much man, thank you
I have been kicked out of the game 5 times already for using T-Ghoul and Orpheus Rig on top tree void Hunter
Seconded
ohhhhh... I need to try that... or not.
@@chrisjohnson3912 I recommend caution
What's so good about Trinity ghoul on top void?
@@Rocityman if you hit a group of enemies with the tether and then fire a charged T-ghoul arrow in there... it´s not hard to guess what happens next
How I was making a build like this in game a hour ago goal well some differences but you have made it 100x better
Has anyone actually tried this build? I did but it just doesn’t seem to work well in anything other than normal lost sectors and patrols. Any kind of end game content destroys be.
Yeah same sadly
You're doing something wrong then. If you follow the build to the T, you'll be able to solo Master lost sectors as if they were normal lost sectors. It is that stupid.
@@BenTan89 hey I’d like a video of you soloing a master lost sector using exactly this build with no champion mods on GL
Love this build for Titan. I've been loving Ashen Wakes for instant Fusion detonation and feeding grenade energy even more in a crowd of ads 👍🏾👍🏾
Good times.
I recently got into playing titan because of my simple protective light set up with vex. But the minute you said walking nuke you grabbed my attention
I was waiting for a build like this one!
Thank you so much!
Going to put a . here for later
Scorn: *freezes titan*
Titan: *supernovas the room*
The warlock build in this video was the first build I tried out today when I got my first demolitionist osmosis Judgment. My God is it overpowered.
Don't forget that the Firewalker perk boosts ALL weapon damage, not just solar weapon damage. So you only need 1 solar weapon/subclass equipped and you can buff all your equipped weapons.
I love it!!! Those explosions make me feel
some kind of way😂😂😂
Im glad to see sunshot getting some good love
An insane build, can't wait to try it out. Have to master work several armour pieces yet but it's on my to do list. 👍👍👍👍👍
