I noticed the gear shifts smoother as well. Didn’t expect that, quick shifter is definitely smoother. And yeah engine fueling is so much better, much much smoother at low rpm’s, it’s transformed the bike around town
Yes the quick shifter improvement was definitely unexpected but immediate after the tune. Weeks later I’m still impressed. You’re right about the improvements of the bike around town overall 👍 as the better fueling makes the bike much easier to ride even in stop & go and off WOT scenarios.
I've just ordered the t800 so that i can install the grt map! Gabro seems to be the go to tuner in the Aprilia world (a bit like rs2e in the bmw world).
Around town, mine got much smoother as you said. However, did you notice at high rpm the vibrations in the handlebars kicked up higher than stock exhaust? That is my experience.
Honestly I haven’t turned the electronics off in sport mode and had enough guts to just do a full send on the street. I’m still awaiting some track time to explore the limits of 1st and 2nd gear. Compared to stock it’s definitely a noticeable improvement for me.
@@conceptanddesigntheory thanks for the quick reply! I wouldn’t recommend turning off electronics on this bike unless you’re a professional LOL. What I was referring to is the 2021+ v4s come neutered in the first two gears compared to the older Tuonos electronics off or on. I feel it like crazy in first on my 21 v4 in first gear. Even with the electronics guess Aprilia thought we needed more safety 🤷🏽♂️. I would get the tune for that reason alone 😎. Ride safe!
@@harmantoor4893 for sure does feel like they’re limited in those two! My old 2011 APRC pulled like a truck it felt like, although my 2023 factory still is fast it’s not as much in your face kinda speed… lemme know if the tune makes a massive difference or not thanks :)
The 360 camera motorcycle kit from Insta360 works but it does come lose at times so I ended up switching to the bolted solution from motowolf that can be purchased on Amazon 👍
There’s a specific Gabro tune with the stock exhaust and I’ve heard nothing but great things about it. Also the ability to open the exhaust valves when in gear vs in neutral which is very cool. I would definitely look into it 👍
I did the Gabro Racing Team tune and UpMap install after the 1st service and the dealership told me that as part of the process they automatically updated the engine cpu 👍.
@@conceptanddesigntheory I also had the first service, they said they updated the engine cpu, but upmap gave an error saying I needed the Aug 21 update. Guess I'll have to find another dealer to update. Thanks for the reply.
@@afinom I’m unfortunately hearing more and more in the Aprilia forums that some dealers aren’t completing the update correctly. This is definitely frustrating and I would definitely recommend trying a different dealer or talking to the master technician beforehand at your current dealership to ensure the person working on your bike has been certified and trained to work on our bikes vs. a new technician. Unfortunately high turnover rates for techs are more common these days…
@@conceptanddesigntheory Taking it to a larger dealer some time next week. Hopefully they can update my bike. I too scrounge the forum and am also hearing a lot of people having issues with the update.
It lets you remove the front turn signals physically then they work like the European versions where the turn signal internal to the headlights are activated.
thanks for the good review! I'm glad you are happy with our work!

Absolutely 👍 💯 Gabro is the man for Aprilia
btw saw you installed a bar quad lock. evotech makes a really nice quadlock mount for the handebar bolts. it's super clean. I'm gonna pick it up.

I just received my Stage 3 kit from Gabro for my '19 Tuono Factory. But my question to you is....... what mirrors are those?
ua-cam.com/video/41ro6X-MToU/v-deo.html links for the Rizoma Genesi mirrors are in the description of this video 👍
Thanks for the review.
I'm wondering what kind of mirrors you are using. Looks great.
Sure thing! They are Rizoma’s and here’s the install video with the product link in the description ua-cam.com/video/41ro6X-MToU/v-deo.html
@@conceptanddesigntheory that was quick. Thanks! 👍
Beautiful bike! Does this Aprilia race tune and/or Gabro remove the power restrictions in 1st and 2nd gear?

One last question(s): does this void the warranty? If so I assume I'd have to flash the standard map before bringing it into dealer?
Exactly. I always play it safe and flash back to stock and I’ve had no issues thus far.
Only if April is can prove any issue was caused by the upmap or any other mod.
Can’t wait for mine to arrive to flash the bike with Gabro map. Btw from where u got the 360 camara stand ?

Quick question. Can this tune be applied with the stock exhaust, or does it need a slip on, or full system? Thanks!

@@conceptanddesigntheory Omg that t800 unit is 600 bucks. I'll need to find someone locally who owns it and just buy the map on their account.
@@DizzyVizzle you can’t. the upmap bonds to one specific bike and cannot be used to flash other bikes, sadly
@@uppe makes sense I ended up ordering from Italy and it wasnt too bad. Didn't realize first tune was free which helps as well. Thanks!
So is this there Race map or there Dekat map?
How Many hp did you gain with the GBR stage 3?
So nothing changes on the dashboard? It still has the same Aprilia maps?
Yes it has the “Race” on the dash just like the Aprilia race ecu map 👌

How is the fuelling and smoothness at low rpm?
It’s much better with this tune. The low rpm range feels much more robust now and it’s not having jerkiness on/off feeling.
That's where this tune stands out, better drivability in the usable range. Well worth the money.
Check out The Video Magazine @lndcrsrmoto on UA-cam!
does the tune let you take the front turn signals off also?
It lets you remove the front turn signals physically then they work like the European versions where the turn signal internal to the headlights are activated.
Thanks for the video! Do you have stock gearing? Curious if at low speeds ride-ability is maintained/improved for the street.
Yes I’m running the stock gearing and the low speed ride is just as smooth as butter. Truly a great tune 👌
Did u pull the baffle out?
Yes…the AKRA baffle is out 👍. The sound is glorious in real life.
