- Flashed the 135i with MHD to an MHD Stage 2+ tune. First I tried 91oct and then tried E30 and it totally transformed the car! Definitely a must-have mod for any 135i or any BMW with an N54/N55.

I said the same thing about going from 93 to e30, aint no way i should be spinning in 3rd with only 400 crank hp
I’m spinning in 3rd too but I have run flats on atm so that makes sense I guess? (Just bought it)

Probably because of torque spikes with the little turbo and the ethanol tune. Ethanol lets you unleash some good timing and boost.
I have a 2013 135i N55, I just got a bms intake, VRSF catless downpipe, upper & lower charge pipe, boost pipe, & upgraded intercooler. And the MHD Tune. Have not installed the parts yet or tuned. My question is to get on the stage 2+ with E30 once all the parts are installed and tuned to that map do I need to upgrade anything else to fuel E30 blend?

I’ve got a 2012 135i m sport. So the N55 + “custom tune”, pure stage 2 turbo, gofast BOV, VRSF intercooler and charge pipes, aFe magnum force intake, and a VRSF cat-less downpipe mixed with berk tech for a full race exhaust. All the work was done by a shop that the previous owner chose, so I dont have a definitive WHP number without taking it to a dyno. My guess is somewhere between 400-450 WHP on pump gas.
My “Custom tune” was done by someone that no longer works at the shop - nor does the shop still tune or have any info on how it was done…so I guess that will always be a mystery haha
Around 320-330, hard to get alot of power on a pre 2014 N55
Did you do anything to the DCT? I have read people say that the stage2+ has too much nm for the dct
Can you do another 7.3l power stroke video? Maybe one about upgrades and tunes. I’ve put a lot of my buddies on your video about the 7.3 and the 6.0 vs 7.3!! Would love to see you do another video on this.
My car come with MHD Stage 2 tune and I can't sell it. When potential buyers knew my car was tuned, they lost interests. How can I revert it back to stock?
I believe you'll have to buy an MHD handheld tuner + buy the licenses for the files in order to flash it back to stock. I'd recommend reaching out to MHD directly and asking.
What is your plan for turbo upgrade? I also have MHD on my 2013 135 with backend flash from BMS. Running ethanol gives me crazy power. Naturally, I want more juice so my plan is to go high flow cat on it.
Are you going hybrid route or full send w/top mount big boost style turbo?
Either way I'm sure you know you'll have to upgrade fuel system if you wanna make over 450hp + on upgraded turbo.
Are you referring to upgrading the HPFP? I just bought my 135, but I’m almost positive its putting down at least 400whp on pump gas. Lots of mods, but AFAIK it has the stock HPFP.
What year is your car? I’m considering running the bootmod3 e30 tune to try it out over the stage 2 93. Do u think it’s gonna be a huge difference? Any fuel pump issue?
I got an e70 x5 with stage 2+ on e30 pushing 22psi. It's insane. Vrsf down pipe, intercooler, charge pipe, turbo smart bov, meth injection, oil cooler upgrade.

DP’s, FMIC, and Intake you should be chillin like that also don’t forget to do your spark plugs and coils

When i tune to e30 mix I gotta put E85 before or after the tune?
Do it at the same time. I switch tunes after putting the fuel in and before starting the car, that way it fires up at the gas pump on the correct tune file.

Hpfp upgrade?
Stock HPFP, I've since added a Fuel-It Stage 2 LPFP to help with E50. If I remember correctly, 2012 was a split year with some N55s having an N54 HPFP and some having a different HPFP. I have the one that's good enough to handle E50 on the stock turbo.

@@N55Koby that might be why. Could be a lpfp issue, hpfp issue, or something else. I’d hit up Wedge Tuning and see what they say about running an E30/E50 tune, you might need upgraded hardware first.
