The first Band I ever saw live! "The Kinks" 1982 at the Centrum in Worcester MA. 40 years later, I will never forget them. Amazing show, amazing performance, phenomenal songs. The reason I play and write songs to this day. One of my best tween memories.
@@StephanGioHahahahahahahahahahahah How incredible that anyone who even dares to express a personal opinion by only suggesting that 'Mrs. B' are not the best, nor the greatest, nor the first and the last in absolutely everything that exists in the three-dimensional universe and far beyond... should prudently clarify that 'this is just a personal idea'. Friend, I warn you: be careful not to continue with those types of public displays that imply some kind of criticism, or at least show 'not total submission' towards the inmaculate 'Sect B'... Their hordes of intolerant and authoritarian automaton mastiffs are always there lurking, and can jump for your throat at any moment 😝⚡🤘🏿.
This is a fairly modernized take of this. It's glossy like a hot Porsche on pch. Careful around there though supposedly where James Dean met his fate. Unsafe speed. Lemme be the first to tell ya it'll be your last deed. James Dean. See him on the silver screen but he's not here today.
@meherbaba7566 I'm telling you... This guy's are posting terrible mixes of good songs recorded live at shows with shitty cameras that don't help the band at all!!!!
Oh course the early Who was quite intent on copping from the Kinks -- going as far as hiring their producer Shel Tamy. Pete will tell you -- in his book anyway.
Cmon guys at the sounding mix table, that was awful!... Terrible mix, try again... For a band like that approving your work to be posted just like that, are you serious?
This whole live performance needs to be remastered. Saw 2 shows on this tour. It would be a great DVD video release.
One of the rare live versions of this song that is complete, actually sounds like the original and on correct time. Unfortunate the audio mix is bad.

Trips from Chelsea to the Centrum early-mid 80’s… great memories!
I started getting into this song in the mid 80s. It's way rad.
Greatest band of all times!!!!
+Stephan Gio Beatles are you ignorant sod
The music of the Kinks touches more more than the music of the B.
(my opinion)
StephanGio
but they don't use enough cowbell

Oh these brothers, I love them so much!!
Can't hear Ray singing over the loud guitar.
Nice to see the in the eighties with those shoulder pads. ;)
I wish someone would post up the Do it again. Promotional video. Where Ray's a busker & they are performing on a pier.
It's available on UA-cam, now!
Love it. The old women commuters on The Tube with their choreographed moves.
DD is VERY cool.
Was that mixed on a Mattel “My First Mixer”?
oh! My 1977 saw them @ Winterland still have ticket stub!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best band in the world but the sound man at this gig should be clubbed.
excellent song... shame on video quality, but thanks anyway
This is a great Rockn version! Wish it could be remastered for vocals and then whole show released on disc! Is it available on dvd???
The Bros. playing Les Paul's, WHAT ELSE ?
ok... I meant the video as one.... the whole thing... but it's ok, that's why I thanked.

WHAT?!
Ray didn't wanna give Dave a long solo-thats bullshit
I noticed that
Totally in the field, the song is played the same way of the album.
the audio is horrible
Was this recorded with a cell phone?
It sounds and looks like it was recorded by Mr Zapruder.
right? and HE landed chrissie hynde ?
In 1984, not likely, plus, it would have been MUCH better!

a bit WHOish
Oh course the early Who was quite intent on copping from the Kinks -- going as far as hiring their producer Shel Tamy. Pete will tell you -- in his book anyway.
In Pete’s review of Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy upon its release , Pete said “ I Can’t Explain” can’t be beat for straight forwards Kinks copying!”
