Hey, we're Chad and Paul. We lived a pretty typical life up until a few years ago. Chad was a speech-language pathologist and Paul was an attorney. We worked in New York City and by all means were set. But we didn't feel settled. We wanted something different. … that Euro van was incredible. Someone def needs to raise the bar on the US industry. Btw… Promaster is a Fiat Ducato and always has been. It was just rebranded with an old familiar North American brand… Ram. You sounded so disappointed, but it’s truly the same… and likely will be the 2022 Promaster, which has a redesigned dash. It’s also called a Citroen Jumper and a Peugeot… something. 😃
Yeah, I’m just not a personal fan of the looks of the promaster personally, but with that euro shell design I could see it looking pretty good.

Water fill on the inside keeps outside clean however the down side is you have to open your rear door to fill which can be a hassle if you have gear on the back. It also keeps your water secure from tampering.
Thanks for your coverage of the show. It is as like I am right at the show and your B interests align right with my interests. I have a 2020 Ford Transit AWD custom 19’6” build featuring what I feel is the best of the best for our needs (no separate bathroom and higher fridge with microwave above opposite galley).

With the Jayco… you commented on the Amp Hours as if it was a 12V system… since it’s 48 V I believe you would quadruple the Amp Hours to get the equivalent so that would be a robust power system…

What is your take on why so many manufacturers don’t go with a lithium system like Volta. Power/tech ability is something that is what consumers desire and need.
It’s a bit baffling to me why volta isn’t in every rv! haha likely because it’s not as cheap as some other lithium alternatives. We think it’s without a doubt the best system on the market.
The coolest thing would be to purchase the 17 feet, apartment style, european design OASI motorhome..... And take it to Volta to make it perfect.
Wait, I just got to the part of the leisure travel vans.... So the coolest thing would be for leisure travel vans to put Volta system in all their models.
Wait, you just got into the ekko's prototype.... Now the coolest would be an ekko with Volta.
I wish that instead of those copycats stealing ideas for their floor plants..... More companies upgraded their motorhomes and vans with the Volta system.
The other day I watched a video of a Newmarv class A that had a huge Volta system, at least double than the storytellers have, including twice the dedicated alternators....and despite having also a generator and solar, they said that the system allowed them to never turn on the generator.
Agree with you 100%! There are really only a handful of companies we saw (storyteller included) that are offering truly originally designs. And we agree about Volta- we think it’s the best power system on the market.
For perfection, it needs the Volta system.

Thanks for checking out the Jayco Terrain! The following items are a summary of the Terrain's specs and features as compared to the Revel:
-10.2 kW of lithium output vs the Revel's 3.2 kW (Run an AC for 8.5-11 hours straight on a full charge vs 3.5 hours in a Revel)
-The AC is STANDARD and is 48V, meaning no converter needed = higher efficiency (110V AC option on Revel)
-STANDARD black aluminum wheels and off-road tires (option on Revel)
-Upgraded shocks and sway bar
-Front light bar
-Sliding and reclining rear passenger seats that spread apart to provide more shoulder room
-Exterior speakers
-On-board air compressor
-Powered rear passenger window
-Electric powered, heated, and memory front seats
-Cassette dump station utility light
-The van is spec'd as a passenger van with a large window in the sliding door vs the Revel is spec'd as a cargo van and they cut out a small window
-The clothes line in the shower is retractable
-2 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY vs Revel's 1 year limited warranty

Airstream imported 250 Westfalia Sprinters in 2005 and slightly Americanized them. We had one and LOVED IT! It spoiled us and it ruined US RVs for us. The STO is the first thing that spoke to us. Very different but love the minimal quality. BTW, the Westy has a queen bed, full bed and the most perfect wet bath in a 19” chassis. The drawback was the beluga top and the sprinter vintage was very utilitarian and tinny.
Those European designers are ages above the ones we have here in the US… always wondered why.
That Wingamm is great. If it had Volta in it….
Yeah- would love to see something like that with a volta system, and something more off-road capable

Assuming that the Wingamm as it comes from the manufacturer does not have anywhere near the overlanding capacity of the Storyteller, could it be modified to go off-road? Or is it meant to stay on paved roads?
It’s going to be on a promaster chassis, so off-road capabilities will certainly be more limited. Hoping they increase the power system as well at some point.
What video stabilizer do you use guys? I want to start using phone for video more and your videos are so professional looking 😎
We use a gimbal for the phone- Pauls also a pro at it.

I am all about electrified vehicles and own a Tesla; however, owning a Ford Focus Electric, its was the WORST car I have ever owned. I would not be confident owning a ford electric at this time.

Yes we can try. Most of the RV industry uses MSRP so you’re left to haggle down the price with the dealership. Except for storyteller of course which uses see through pricing.

American RVs has no innovations with cookie-cutter layouts everything look the same. Catch all is that the Wingamm sells for around $100k in Europe.
