IRISH MARGARITA
2 oz/60 ml Irish Whiskey
.5 oz/15 ml Dry Curacao
1 oz/30 ml Lime Juice
.5 oz/15 ml Simple Syrup
Method
1. Add all of the ingredients to the Shaker tin.
2. Shake with ice for 10-12 seconds.
3. Fine strain over fresh ice in a Rocks glass.
4. Garnish with a Lime Wedge.

I just saw this video. Looks like an excellent margarita variant. I will have to try it. I have a bottle of Writer's Tears as well as the Writer's Tears Double Oak. I am curious as to how they do in a cocktail, because on their own they can't hold up to being served on the rocks (the taste crashes into nothing). I do like the two whiskeys neat quite a bit.
Its a great recipe and should work well. I would love some feedback if you do try it.
