  • Venerable Hasapanna from Dhammasara Nuns monastery investigates the origin and effects of afflictive emotions. Using examples from her monastic life as well as humour, she provides practical strategies that allow us to deal better (and even eliminate) these often quite destructive feelings.

Sadhu. I am really grateful to Venerable Hasapanna for giving this speech.
I often recollect this talk when I have emotions which could be delusions,
and remind myself that we often do not see the whole picture whenever we have strong feelings.
    Thank you so much.

The guy with the second question - I've heard him ask a question in another lecture, "What is My Business?" and he talked about gratitude. I would love to hear this guy lecture - although he is not a monk, I can tell he has so much to say, lay wisdom. Her lecture was beautiful, but I want to acknowledge him as well. Thanks!

@MICHAELMELCHIZEDEK1 Maybe some of it could be that way. But then again, are you a monk? If the qoutes go along with the topic of the subject being spoken about then that's fine. Its not like she was writing a book.

Feels like shes quoting from books and not personal experience.
