That silver expandable “thing” is an old school collator. Back before copiers did all the collating, each page of a document (say 100 copies of page 1, etc.) would be placed in each section. Then you would take a page from each section, in order, straighten them and then staple together for a complete document.
Love the way Steve reacts to the toys. He says they are for his grandkids, but I'm having doubts!!!
Steve look on how to make a silicone mold. Some of the thing you get will make great cement molds. You don't have to mold the Entire item just the good parts. You cement molding will improve a lot.

Hi, I am new to your channel ( just about a week or so) and I just love each video that I watch of y'all. But I have to tell you....Steve, you had me literally rolling with tears my eyes as you were playing with the toys and talking to them. Especially the doll with the messed up legs, lol. Maybe the fact that I was watching this at 5am after being awake all night had something to do with it but I swear you were hilarious. And Steph was right there just sorting along, lol. I just came across your videos and you guys are great! I got my husband checking them out too. He checked our area for rules on dumpster diving and there arent any except private or locked up ones. So I think it's a go for us I can't wait to get started!

An idea for the books:get a stand to line the books on like a library +put it in your front yard with the books on it+a sign that says”take a book,leave a book” seeings you get so many in dumpsters,just make sure it’s a covered stand cause of rain/weather

The metal thing is a sorter when you’re doing manual collation. I use them all the time when I create proposals, to build big things.

With kids there is alot of peer pressure and some parents can't afford to buy their kids new clothes or name brand clothes that kids are wearing like Addis or Nike and stuff like that so selling these things cheap at a yard sales is a really good thing for these kids and makes them a part of today's world. So I think its a really great thing what you 2 are doing. Thank you

Aluminum drink containers are awesome, if you hike, or camp, you can always heat up soup, or water for coffee. Of coarse really move the plastic lid, before heating.

I have the bed pole. It helps me get out of bed when I got a injured my arm. It easy it install. Just slip it in between the mattress and the box spring.
Steve, the blue odd shaped, empty container is a razor holder for traveling. Just like they have ones for soap, toothbrushes and so on.
I’ve debated looking at a local music store dumpsters. I see cymbals made into clocks and older Tom drums made into lamps and end tables for man caves.

In oz ,we donate stuffed toys RSPCA (animal shelter)toys that are not good for children. Dogs love companionship in stressful times.
I’ve seen those hangers to hold ope magazines or paper cook books open to your page! Just hang the hook on your cabinets doorknob.

Just realised..as you are in a state where dumpster diving isnt legal, less people do it so you get great stuff.....in the videos of vloggers where its legal there is a mixed amount, some plenty, some fails....Love yours, the risk of an hysterical employee adds to the fun/anxiety . I nearly reach thru the screen to help you sort quicker!

I love your videos I'm thinking about doing this myself I live in Florida and there alot of people here that could use things that shouldn't be thrown away Its a crying shame I seen videos of people pulling food out of dumpsters and I think that is so wrong being cheap is one thing being disgusting is another
