    Played your videos in slow motion to understand your form and instantly brought my power score up to 99-100% on supernatural. Insane amount of energy used to make those power moves! I was dying! Thank you thank you! ❤

    Thanks for posting this! I love your Supernatural stuff. I got into it last year and have had a lot of fun with it and it kept me sane on cold winter days, but I'm getting out to run more and getting back to strength as well. I look forward to following your progress! I became an ultrarunner in my late 30s and am planning to try to run my first 100-mile race a month before I turn 40 :) You can do it!

      Wow, what a goal, Jennifer! I used to run in my youth but I don't do it anymore, due to the inconvenience of having to drive out, and such like. It's a great way to sculpt legs and lose weight, though. Maybe one day I will get myself running again. Thank you for sharing. Good luck and stay motivated, consistency is key! Cheers!

    you body's propensity for relatively easily developing muscles is evidence of your EXCELLENT genetics (especially at 40, as our hormones start to change). You can absolutely reach all of the goals you mentioned. Start slow, push hard!

      Thank you for the encouragement, I appreciate that! Yes, it's true, my flawless Romanian genetics play a huge role in the fact that my muscles get toned just by doing the dishes. It's a little ridiculous, lol!

    I'll miss your videos! You are so right about the Facebook group. I love SN. It has gotten me back into exercising and now I am ready to add in some weightlifting with dumbbells on my SN off days. I do diet (400 calorie deficit), SN, and strength training with machines. I use SN just to help kill my calories which actually allows me to eat a bit more but still burn more than enough to lose weight. Doctors always say Diet and Exercise (I hate it when they are right lol)! Well, Diet, Exercise, and SN. I am going to miss your videos. I just started following you within the last few months being I'm new to SN (July 23') I really started rolling in Aug and found you serveral months later. You inspired me to keep going. Thank you for your video!

    also as a thought, you can tie some weights to a belt (or elastic straps from belt to floor or shoes).. and be in a partial squat, engaging muscles under extra tension to get your leg muscles all toned. imagine an hour of VR in a partial squat with weighted belt. ;-)
    ALSO.. if you want to be strong, that usually means a bit of strength in ALL of your body, not certain parts being big...
    look into natural animal movements... these are some of the best ways to get MOST of your body strong at the same time.
    otherwise you're doing a lot of isolation, which works parts by focusing on them, but ignores most of the rest of you.
    rock climbing and swimming are two excellent 'nearly all body' workouts. ;-)

    • @supernaturalvraddict
      @supernaturalvraddict  2 місяці тому

      The weighted belt idea is really good, I'll have to figure out how to get that done in VR. You're right about the whole body functional movements, that is my ultimate goal -to have functional muscles, not just showy. I am seeing how the animal movements are so beneficial for full-body strength and mobility. Looking at some videos now, I am suddenly reminded of doing some of these movements in my Capoeira practice, a few years ago. I will definitely re-incorporate them in my routines. Thank you so much for your advice and suggestions!

    • @CrudelyMade
      @CrudelyMade Місяць тому

      @@supernaturalvraddict oh, yeah. Capoeira is marvelous. one mor thing.. look up 'horse stance' .. it's a common stance used in kung fu and a bung of other martial arts. it's a type of squat, effectively.
      do an upper body workout while in horse stance... your legs will let you know they also got a workout. ;-)

      Once in the game, press the Quest home button (on the right controller) , and click on the camera icon, and then "start recording video". When I was done, I connected the Quest device to my computer and dragged the files onto the computer. I also recorded myself with a separate camera, then I edited the video syncing the camera video with the Quest video. It's a bit tricky in the beginning, but it gets easier over time. Here's a video tutorial that I made a while ago: ua-cam.com/video/Va-sfcm_wAY/v-deo.html . I hope it helps!

    Ok…for starters….THOSE ARMS😍😍😍 Gonna miss looking for you on the leaderboard and your videos. But I understand! I DESPERATELY need to start lifting weights again. As much as I LOVE Supernatural boxing…it’s preventing me from gaining weight, but I’m not losing. (My eating isn’t clean either). As far as the Facebook group….yeah…it’s fallen way off. It used to be fun. You could disagree and argue (respectfully of course). AS SOON AS they were trying to sell to Meta, they started HEAVILY censoring the group.
    But I’m looking forward to what’s next for you! I’ll still be around😁👊🏾💪🏾

    • @supernaturalvraddict
      @supernaturalvraddict  2 місяці тому

      Thanks, Akim! Yes, SN is a great way to stay fit while we get our sh*t together, as they say. As long as we move consistently, we are doing good by our body. When we get tired of our personal status quo is when we start making changes. The only way to get stronger is to start loving the pain that is needed to get stronger. I know you'll get back into it, some way or another. I'm not a gym rat, but I'll try my best to work out at home and with as little equipment as possible to start with, and we'll see when I hit the next wall. I don't see that happening anytime soon. And tbh, I might even sneak in a SN workout every now and then just for that sweaty cardio experience. I've got a full year subscription still :D

    muscles are a funny thing, you're not always using the ones you think. if you want to see how good your biceps are, do curls. doing pushups are primarily pectoral muscles and then triceps. pullups are mostly posterior delts and then biceps... so.. your tests of pushups and pullups aren't testing your biceps. ;-)
    so you should test some curls, maybe 30 lb dumbells, see how many reps you can do.. I'd bet its a healthy amount. ;-)

    • @supernaturalvraddict
      @supernaturalvraddict  2 місяці тому

      Yes, I can see that, I haven't thought of the muscle groups that I was using. I wouldn't do too many dumbell curls, though, the last thing I need is bigger biceps! Looking at the backs of people doing pullups, I can see incredible strength and definition, it's like a back 6-pack on their backs, or a washboard. Crazy. I guess back, triceps and abs should be my focus then. Thank you for the comment!
