With a DJ and music production career spanning over 4 decades, Ben Liebrand has mixed, remixed and reworked over 800 titles.
He was among the first to introduce the concept of multiple artist megamixes, noted for their extended running times and intricate craftsmanship. His annual Grandmixes, starting in 1983, have been heralded as true moments in dance music history, with his work influencing and kickstarting the careers of many notable contemporary DJs.
Liebrand’s influence on the dance music scene is profound, with his solo albums and Grandmix series achieving massive success. To this day, Liebrand still produces multi-format analogue and digital releases of ground breaking productions, both unique and highly collectible.
Now in June 2024, we warmly welcome Ben Liebrand to the Mastermix platform.

Amazing! I'm glad that Ben is part of the Mastermix Club team, I've always had him as the second best dj of the 80's, simply because I also worked in radio where I met my favorite ever Les Adams "The Mixdoctor"... Both Ben and Les will always be a source of inspiration!

Love Ben Liebrand. Together with Peter Slaghuis and the DMC (Disco Mix Club) he was part of my 80s when I was a toddler and danced to his GrandMixes.
