- This 2005 Subaru Impreza 2.5L lost throttle control, stalled on the highway and wouldn’t restart. Lots of parts have been thrown at this car including a junkyard ECM. Relays and solenoids are clicking, the dash is lit up and flashing no communication with the ECM and the harness is Melted! This was definitely an interesting car to work on! Very unexpected find and the fix was a suprise!

Thanks bro, yeah definitely feeling better! I’m not going to lie was pretty sore for a couple days. I hate soldering in locations like that, didn’t help it was a lowered Impreza.. But she running strongish now 😂..

THANKS FOR SHARING when wires get hot and you have unwanted connections crazy things happen sometimes. i have had a few that was kinda like yours first thing i did was separate the wires and check fuses then try to figure out why they got melted because you don't want to fix all them to have them melt again. great video
What a mess right? I wasn’t even going to attempt diagnosing that car with the harness melted! Became pretty apparent the turbo was the culprit. I fixed the harness and put it all back together and shipped it. He ended up immediately taking it for a few hour road trip straight from the shop, to visit his mom for Christmas! 3 hours each way over a mountain pass. He said all is well 🤷 thanks for watching!
