Clearly, you’ve never “tried” to put out a vehicle fire with an extinguisher! Too much heat and fuel available, extinguisher merely knocks down the flames temporarily by depriving the fire of oxygen. Once the extinguisher agent dissipates and fresh air becomes available, the fire re-ignites!
@@DavidJones-hr9bn Ah, far from it.I have 40 years of experience in "putting out fires"". 18 as a full-time urban and 40 as a volunteer. At the start that fire was a grass fire, started by heat from the car's exhaust system and would have been dead easy to extinguish. Even if it had been the car burning it still would have been an easy-to-extinguish fire, you, sir, have no idea of what you speak. Dry powder extinguishers do an excellent job on car fires and the 2kg size carried by LEO vehicles would have had no issues at all in putting that out any time in the first 3 minutes of that fire. It grew slowly and until the vehicle itself was fully involved would have been an easy mark for a small DPE. Stick to whatever you know buddy because you know jack about fire.

I cannot believe these cars attain now When I was a teen ager in1955 Chevy had just come out with the V8. People claiming to be knowledgeable on things such as this swore that if you drove at high speeds you would burn your motor up. In those days high speeds were less than 90. The world has really changed
Hey numbnuts they are more worried about clearing the scene and checking on the perpetrator. Life before Limb. But apparently you know nothing of first responders. Take your nonsense somewhere else and also don't be late for your Harris rally snowflake.
I thought the same thing. Simple to put out a small fire, if they’ve secured everything else. And what about evidence within the car? Might make the difference sometimes to what the perp is charged with. Weird protocol.
One thing that blows my mind is why one of the 19 cops that were sitting there didn't grab their portable fire extinguisher and put that fire out when it was just a tiny fire instead of letting the car go up into a complete Blaze and possibly exploding and hurt people😮
He is professionally negligent...he stood around doing nothing and allowed the fire to become a blazing inferno instead of knocking it down when it was small and manageable. Lousy policing.
Holy CRAP! Consistent 140mph on a narrow, 2 lane, country highway, riddled with RISK! The car just floated over the rough bridge crossings. Helluva ride! Thumbs up for the video.
The way the officer and the guy spoke so respectfully to each other even after all that makes me cry and I am so glad that nobody lost their life and I truly hope the driver had a wake up call that day and wants a life he can be proud of for himself and the people in his life and I pray these type of videos will keep others from making choices like this. My son spent 10 years in prison and let me say that he suffered the most but me as his mother and younger siblings and grandparents suffered every day until he came home and he has changed his life for the better and was actually able to get a well paid job and have things in life that really matter like wife and kids all thanks to God.
Thank you for sharing your story. It is really important that the perpetrators family should be seen as victims as well and that after serving their time can turn their lives around. I'm not a bleeding heart liberal and of course it really depends on the crime/s committed and the sentences of the perps and whether they have a family to go back to and have been rehabilitated. Not all criminals come from terrible homes and have committed a crime against innocent people. It is wrong to blame the perps family who may have done nothing wrong.
I feel sorry for you ammo but your son could have had all that except for poor choices. He paid the price and got a second chance and hope not a day goes by he’s thankful for your live and support.

Please excuse the ignorance of a foreigner never been to USA, but I thought you all had to have really expensive health insurance so how does that work with this reprobate?…in our country we all get health care paid for by our taxes so that is normal.

I think the word “stolen” is redundant when referring to these car chases. Let’s just all agree that pretty much every Dodge Charger or Challenger you see ripping down the highway is stolen. Saves time…..
Right? it always gets me when I see people running when a cars on fire yelling "the cars gonna blow up". Like do they not know cars dont blow up like they do in the movies, only things that blow are the tires and airbags which even those arent gonna destroy the whole area
They all need to go back to the station and critique this one .... Geez can't they afford turnout gear.... Their training officer needs to be fired....
@rickitynick4463 in what way exactly.... It's pretty obvious that the guy running the hose was either in training or newer he was being directed. Everyone was outta harms way the car was a total loss obviously so what's the point in being in some big massive rush anyway. If you where EMT in a small town then you know these guys are more than likely volunteers. Maybe go to your local firestation and help out alittle roll up some of those hoses and then come back and tell me it's some easy task or they should have been in more of a hurry.
Two broken legs, possible internal injuries, a totaled car, and a long list of felonies. Was it worth it? This guy should get 5 years in state prison and permanent loss of license.
You can't apply logic to that lifestyle. You are a danger to everyone around you, could be killed any day of the week due to your actions, and after a while that's all you know. Been thru County Jails, State Prisons, and finished up serving time in the Feds. A combination of warped values and denial, no matter what the risks are, fuel the madness. Toss in some drugs and alcohol and you're ready for action. Between the overcrowding and the violence, you can't imagine how primed up you are to get out and top your last adventure. 99% of the guys are sure they got screwed and want to take it out on anybody they can. Yep prison sounds like the answer if you've never been there. Went in out of shape with asthma and came out running 30 miles per week and on my best day I did 750 pushups in sets of 25 while walking the track. They thought I was dangerous before?
Sadly typical. Its why I hate drink or drug drivers. They usually come out of incidents they cause much better off than the people they hit. Something about being drunk or on drugs means they are non reactionary in an accident meaning they dont tense up and it seems to result in less injuries.
If you read the description it looks like his first impact slowed the car down significantly and then he left the road flipping him end over end. If he had popped out at 160 there would be pieces left, nobody survives that.
it's the lifecycle of a Hellcat: 1st owner buys it and can't make payments so it gets repo'd. 2nd owner buys it for a good price and parks it in a bad spot where it gets stolen, then chased and wrecked. The amazing thing here is that the perp did it himself rather than have the ASP help him out with a TVI.
As long as DeVandre keeps respawning there is a chance that all Hellcats will eventually be stolen and destroyed. We will all be safer then. Until that time watch out. Thanks to the judges helping DeVandre continue his quest.
@@ryanmoore8556 they probably didnt want too get shot by possible cross fire. I dont blame them for running, I would have too. I was just stating that, this was probably the most action that Town ever witnessed, currently living.
@@ryanmoore8556naw they don’t now if you said they do pits a lot then yes 🤣 ASP are no joke in pits only fool would run from them. And dude had a car to get away just wasn’t very good a driving 😅 those railroad tracks helped ASP with the pit this chase. But on the shoot part any agency will do so if you threaten life. Just like you would if someone threatened your life. Just because they wear a badge doesn’t make them not right to do so if justified and being in that line of work they are more at risk of having to use deadly force because criminals aren’t real smart and they try using weapons in get away in return they end up shot because of it. And that’s a good thing because sometimes they don’t survive and it saves tax papers money. And no I don’t feel bad saying that because these criminals should stop being criminals. But I also know not all people shot are criminals and the officers are the criminal and they get charged as they should but we have more good officers in this country then bad. And I feel as if I’m a good deputy I normally never pull people over for speeding unless they are doing so recklessly then I do. And revoked license if you don’t have warrants and doing right I normally have them call a driver and have them drive in home and don’t even ticket them just warn them and say if I see you again then I’m going to tow the vehicle and your getting ticketed and or arrest. And I’m less likely to ticket if the person is respectful but if they aren’t then they are 100% getting ticketed. But I’m pretty chill and everyone I come in contact will also will tell you that and the ones who have forced things will also tell you I can be a ass 😂 and I’m not scared to drop a elbow if needed when you wanna run and fight. But it’s gotta get pretty bad for that. One right of hand was a guy who was beating the shit out a of one of are local PD officers and it was a female officer and dude had got in top of her and was endlessly punching swoll both eyes shut was in the hospital for I believe 3 days over it. And he did end up in it as well because I did get even almost lost his life because rolling up from the look of her I thought he had killed her and drawed on him and he stopped thank god and then I holstered and went hands on and he tried to fight me and lost I’m 33 and been in BJJ for 19 years so I can hold my own. But anyhow long enough comment but please don’t think all of us are bad because we are not and you really gotta be doing something bad for most of us to be assholes and some might be stand off ish because we wanna go home to are families at the end of the shift as well. So just treat us like you wanna be treated and we will do the same and will probably let whatever slide unless are hands are tied in whatever it may be. And even then being nice and respectful looks good on you because we will put it in that the person was respectful and seems as if they have changed and are trying to do better and in court it’s gonna look good on them in whatever the case may. But respect and honesty goes a long way with any law enforcement and it might just get you off with a warning or if it’s more work out in your favor in court being you didn’t fight or argue. Have a good day or night and stay safe.
Parts, my boy. You'd be surprised at what's surviving these wrecks. Let's be honest the parts are the only way the white working man will ever get one of these.
Well, to be fair, if its a volunteer dept, they probably made good time and i mean, what else is left to do but let it burn down. Its not like they were going to save it.
Got ejected from a car doing half that speed, to this day cannot remember what happened. I was the only one hurt in my car. Had my ears sewn back on and throat sewn up. 200 stitches in my head because the glass was old like Ford 1949 plate glass. We rolled 5 times sideways and 3 times over end. I am still pulling glass and gravel out of my head and face.
Just thought I would answer some comments since my step dad is a sheriff and he gets a kick out of some videos. The fire crew was Luxora Volunteer fire department. One of my step cousins is a VF and says he can be out pouring a foundation and get paged. Drives 5 miles to the station and waits for at least 2 more firefighters before they can roll out in an engine. So a 10-20 minute response time in th emiddle of nowhere is normal or good. Some places someone will grab a rig and the others responding go to the scene. So these two probably had no one else show up and headed to the scene. You do what you can with what you've got. And for the PD cars. Their speed is controlled electronically based on the engine, transmission and tires. No Explorer or AWD Tahoe will go over 130. A manufacturer limitation based on the vehicle weight, transfer case and tire rating. AWD Chargers and V6 Chargers are limited to 130. 5.7s with the proper tires are governed at 140. A new 392 with the speed rated tires is 150 from the factory. (and all remain during the warranty period without exception) If the 392 didn't have the speed rated tires it is mandated to be maxxed at the tires top limit. So Dad's 392 slick top would be limited to 120 if he had the crappy tires installed. (apparently that wipes out immunity from liability and is considered faulty equipment if involved in an accident.) YOu can hear the tires in many videos with the deeper "screech" that are the softer high speed tires. The troopers that drift around the on ramp loops and fishtail probably have the after market harder compound tire for longer life. And the lighter the skid marks the harder the tire and the slower the top rated speed. So there's no one answer on why some are 130, 140 or 150 governed. Thanks all! Now back to the videos!
Ask your dad why do they mute or tell each other that body cameras are on? Like what are they hiding? Mc Donalds workers have more accountability than police do.
@@bbeast1113 Usually they are muted for confidential conversations with pro\ivate info like someone's phone or address or with some minors. And when there is an incident, say a shooting, they go "off" but they actually are just passive. That backs up the file in the recording so it does not get overwritten and is a flag on the file when it gets uploaded when put back in it's charging dock. The recording is going into a buffer that can retain anywhere between fifteen seconds and five minutes of video. 30 seconds is typical. The video going into the buffer has no sound. When the officer hits the “record” button on the bodycam, the contents of the buffer are appended to the start of the live recording. This is why many of the police recordings you see on UA-cam and other services begin with 30 seconds of silent video. The sound begins at the moment the officer pressed the “record” button. Some bodycams can be activated by external controls or sensors, such as activation of the patrol car’s overhead lights or siren, opening of the car door,
Did you not watch the video? The cop held strong at 140 for a while. Some ASP vehicles can even do 150. Pretty sure you have to prove yourself before you are allowed to drive one of the 140 or 150 cars.
I love how the back up officers did nothing to help put out the fire when it was manageable with a fire extinguisher. Then the FD guy spraying the hose doesn't even have gear on!
One thing that I’ve always found interesting is how our troopers can go from 100 not trying to hear any BS to a care taker in a split second once a scene is secure
The police don't have a fire estinguisher in their car?? They wait and allow the fire to spread in the field? With the risk of the fuel tank exploding??? Unseen in any other country. They should be better organised for any unforseen occurrence.

And all your info is BS. Top speeds can easily be programmed . My sierra reg cab used to top out at 105 I can do 145-150 now
@@bbeast1113 Of course they can. But they don't on vehicles under warranty or so they aren't liable if overspeed for the equipment on the vehicle.

HIs full name is DeVandre Felontavious James.
🤣 lmao
I keep googling that name but can't find any info on this incident.

Who gives a hoot what his name is if that's what this idiot fool wants then so be it idiots fckn piss me off majorly.
Key and Peele 😂
Now that's a good one! 😅
Surviving that wreck is so lucky, that man better shape up. Someone is giving him another chance.
No luck, he's blessed, only God's hand of protection covered him.

I'm sure. He's blessed.
His Mother Shamanthaconda Johnson said he’s a fine, upstanding young man and honor student, who attends church Wednesday nights and twice every Sunday. 😮
And he was turning his life around.
And not a school shooter

He's damn lucky he didn't end up on the left side of the highway instead of the right.
Same state, same car, same suspects. It's like groundhogs day every day 😂
It's lawless in that area of the state. Half the drugs in the southern US go down the road they're on. Look up Delta Blues police sting. This is the wild West.
Same for the Harrison area. Extremely radical area. 1/2 the meth in America is made here. This is the dregs.
Arkansas is one big time loop.
It's not same car, most chases are showing Dodge Charger scat packs variants,
This video here is a stolen Hellcat

Its LaFelon.😂
his community will convince him he has "the gift" and is protected from harm... until he's not
Mad props to the Trooper for keeping his cool and treating this suspect like a human.
Low performance driver in a high performance car, what a waste of a good car 😂🤣😂🤣
It's stolen, the owner will get his money back from the suspect or state.
I agree with you, it’s just a waste of a good car, I’d like one in my garage in Australia 👍
Mr Middlecoff is a true professional. He never once even yelled at the injured man. He treated him with respect and empathy.
Yea because treating criminals with respect and empathy is what keeps them from continuing to victimize innocent people and communities 🙄
That's a 'big man' who maintains objectivity in a cauldron like that.
Must have had a great mum and dad!?
Well said I can think of a few things I’d love to say to the comment above you like what world are you coming from treat a felon respect and dignity? After he goes on a driving rampage to put everybody at risk in the community and destroys somebody’s valuable merchandise? Oh I’m sorry should we protect his identity don’t show his face we have to make sure that he did this with intent what a joke and yes agreed the usual suspect you can hide his face you can’t hide His voice. Nicely please comment above also even a child gets it why is the same man keep getting arrested why does the same man keep doing the crime well sad child
But only ONE fire fighter shows up in his jeans and a tee shirt!!!!!!!!!!! Even the other red states tell Arkansas jokes.
I wouldn't have.

The red earth road scene is outstanding. Amazing.
I can't believe not even one of all those police vehicles had a fire extinguisher when the blaze was small.
Probably wasn't replaced from the Hellcat chase and crash the day before.
Bad choices never equal good outcomes.
Is that a cemetery? Comedy really does come from tragedy
