One of things I love about you guys is, you’re pretty much competitors in online teaching, but you introduce each other in your classes. In some cultures, it maybe hard for competitors to cooperate this well.
Hi Eli thank you so much for your vedios its really amazing so worthy ,,finally id passed my 2nd attempted taking test lately april 29 test ,for my ukvi im so happy to know my result thank you Lord and thank you too Sir Eli,,your helping us a lot,,
I actually said i will come back to say thank you when my result is out to convience my self that, i did improve. I got 6 on first attempt and after then i came across your videos. i learnt how to organise my speaking in a more appealing way to the examiner....it 7.5 and enough for what i want to use it for 😊 am glad. I wish i came across your video before i wrote the first one...
I remember in mock in part three question I was given this unfamiliar topic to me about characteristics of people of different cities of my country and since i have never been out of my town i was really confused what to tell, then i told i have no idea about this topic and why (because i have never been in these cities and never talked to people there , to know about their way they behave ) and after speaking exam the examiner told me i should have said how modest that people are , how hospitable and etc , but how i would be able to tell about this if i even didn't know about it 😂
I kind of feel a sense of achievment in developing my vocabulary basement everytime i copy the vocabularies in band 9 holders' speech😅 i do love this feeling😊 thank you very much both of you. im sure that i got not only awesome vocabularies but also amazing ideas for speaking questions❤❤
I have a question, is it important to use idioms or phrasal verbs to boost speaking score? Or I can get a high score using only just verbs without repeating for example?
Hello Eli, fabulous video! I'm an Italki teacher, so found your content really helpful, great work! Just a tech question if you don't mind... Can you please tell me how you managed to get both speakers on the same background? No worries if that's a trade secret! 😉

You should include some appropriate use of idiomatic langauge if you want a higher band.

Oh my gosh all the questions that my examiner did to me I hear in this video😧 wow I see some of mistakes in my speaking test😥
Well, I'm sure you also had a lot of great answers as well
Hi Eli, you recommended 2 expert IELTS teachers. Do you also introduce a good teacher for IB DP English (LL) ?
Hey Henly! I focus only on IELTS but preparing for IELTS should help you improve your overall level in English anyway.
Quaint
To have a good work-life balance
Background music
Probably varied
Wow lovely
Glad you enjoyed it!
Do real time examiners smile and nod their heads repeatedly? Does it mean if they do all that, the person is really doing well?
It doesn't necessarily mean the candidate is doing well. It's just to acknowledge what is being said.
great job! thanks for your effort! I love it.
I love your video Eli. I'm preparing to write in a month time. Still feeling so nervous and yet to cover any part of the exam. Believe your videos will take me far.
I really hope so! Good luck
probably ... it gives me ....
whenever ... it sorts of turn into ...
i ... more than enough to ... but i guess everybody would love a little bit more
tend to
productive, lie in
work-life balance
pursue hobby
go with the flow
a little bit of both actually
there're certainly times when ... however, there are other times
have music on at the background
a little varied, if i had to choose just one, i would probably pick
not necessarily. for example
before i dive into the topic, i should probably mention that
step in
commonality
finesse
there are pros and cons to everything
the big difference comes with
full-fledged and well-rounded
migrate into
leave hometown
surround oneself with people available
transition from place to place
1,000th like from me:)
