Noemi and I did a practice test before she went to do her real IELTS test. Noemi is from the Philippines and got a band 8 in the IELTS speaking test! There is a lot of great language in this practice test- which I have highlighted in the video and stick around until the end of this speaking test to see what advice I gave her- particularly for part 2 of the test. Enjoy!

Huge respect for examiner he even smiles at candidate (many examiners doesn't do that) to make her calm and enjoy the speech, and he looks like Mark Zuckerberg
Thank you! I do my best. Sometimes, it's difficult to remember to smile when you're concentrating a lot on what the person is saying.

Noemi is so adorable and she clearly has a great command of the English language.
I am really impressed with the feedback part when the instructor analyzed strength and weak points that examinee had done in the previous parts. It would not only help the candidate to improve some tactics by herself, but also help me, one of the audience to lift my skill up for speaking. Wonderful! Thank you, Eli and Noemi.
Same, you're one of a kind Sir!Very concerned about the examinee's room for development.Such a good heart!💖
Am a Filipino i am proud to you Ms. Noime but i really proud also to the Examiner. I hope when my ielts exam come I'll be better too..🙏
Hands up to both of you. 🙌 Congratulations, Mam Noemi. I'll be snatching your vocabulary, 'ubiquitous'.. such a fancy word. Ang lakas makatalino. 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
this is so much better. its not scripted. and you can able to see the reaction..
wow!So impressive👏👏👏
Really awesome and on track. keep it up Eli
Wow! Amazing!
learned a lot from this.. thankyou.. more videos pa more...
I just came across your channel and I found it incredibly educational which I can benefit from a lot. Since I'm currently preparing for the IELTS exam, I need some understandable and also precise sources, thankfully content of your videos is fully straightforward as well as fruitful for me 🙏🤩
I really appreciate it.
Very good!😍🍀🎈
I’m impressed how she respond the questions, she is calm😇 thank you for this video. Hope that I’ll pass my exam this coming September .
I hope so too 🤞
Your tip on talking about the future during part 2 really helped me with my speaking test. During my test, I can tell that my 2 mins wasnt up yet and I was done with my story already. Talked about the future and made it just in time. Got my required band score btw. Thank you soo much ☺️
Thank you so much! That's great to hear!
I worked with your tutorials on speaking and writing, I scored a band 7.0 and 6.0…. Keep up the good work bro. Cheers🥂
Thanks, kabayan..so proud of you. Awesome feedback. I learnt a lot from here...
Great to hear!
I really enjoy your videos and feedback😊😊
All best my dear you have done a nice job😊
This is amazing
Thanks for sharing this video very informative
Hi Eli! In my opinion, band 6.5 or 7 is a better fit than 8. A medium degree of accuracy was observed on FC and GRA. To award band 8 a wider range of lexis and less inaccuracy would be necessary. Thank you. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I'm really impressed both of you .. It's nice feedback..
Great to hear!
Wish i had a friend like u sir. 🙂🙂😌😌😌😌
You're both awesome 😎
Thank you (also on behalf of Noemi)
hi sir, your vlogs is really helping us watching this conversation.
Great to hear!
She is typical Filipino speaker when it comes to speak english. But it was fantastic.
It seems as though Filipinos have a very high level of English!
Wow congratulations.. Nice video
Thank you!
I like the way she talk it's smooth and you can understand what she says and mean good job kabayan❤️
Salamat po! If you want to have practice with Eli, i recommend he is the best!
Wow! what a confidence! I wish I had the same intelligence with her!
Hi sir.. i was impressed by this video and on how my "kababayan" got through your interview. I would just like to inquire if you could fit me in on your 1 on 1 mock test speaking. Im planning to havr my exam this coming november. I hope you notice my message. Thsno you
The examiner is so kind.. i hope i can get that kind of examiner..
There are many friendly examiners. Here is a very friendly one: ua-cam.com/video/wzzOowpCryw/v-deo.html

💖💖💖
Listening to this, while waiting for my speaking test. 😅
good to learn
I learned al ot on this video
Sir, I hope you will be my interviewer. I want it to be on zoom as well. I feel like I can answer with ease if you are my interviewer. This is such a relaxed conversation. Congratulations Ma'am Noemi. I hope I can be the next to pass the IELTS exam. 🙂
Yes, it's much nicer if you have an examiner that you feel comfortable with. There are certainly a lot of very friendly examiners who will make you feel confident and relaxed. I hope you get your desired score 😊
Thank you
Wish u had face to face classes here in the UK I would definitely join 😢
Perhaps my courses will help you instead 😄 You can start for free here: englishprotips.com
She's Filipino, so it wasn't that surprising. Besides, she passed the nursing examination, which means she has a good command of the language because the exam was in English. What I didn't expect was her score in writing since she said she's better at it. I'm guessing she got a bit complacent on that area.
Great video! I'm wondering if I can also have mock test with you.
Hey Isaiah, I'm trying to do more in-person interviews these days. If that changes, I'll let you know!
@@EnglishProTips That would be so cool! Thanks in advance~
I think Noemi is an adventist because she goes to church or attends church service on Saturdays
Yes you are right Jessica.:) proud to be one.
You are right. Good listening skills girl. :)
Hope to meet you sir and be instructor
Wow
Was this an actual interview or just a simulation? This is very inspiring. I'd like to know then, of how I would score in the IELTS exam. By the way, do you have any recommendation as to which school I should go to, in order to get a formal training on English language proficiency? I believe it will be a great contribution in my resume.
It's a practice speaking test. You can do one too if you become a premium member of English Pro Tips: englishprotips.com
when filipino's spoke in english .. everything is so clear ❤❤🤞
I couldn't agree more.
Thank you po. :)
Not spoke, it's speak
Hi Eli. Is it possible for me to have mock interview with you too?😊
How can we avail some strategies for speaking?
Thank you for posting this video. I got a question: when the band descriptor for 8 says: "..uses a wide range of complex structures", what does the adjective "wide" refer to? A big amount of complex sentences or a wide variety(namely a lot of different types) of complex sentences?
Hey Aldo, it means a wide variety. I wouldn't worry too much about this. Especially in Part 3, when you get asked more abstract questions, you'll find yourself naturally using a wide variety.
@@EnglishProTips yes, but what do we mean by "wide variety "? Different types of complex sentences or a wide number of complex structures? Does the band descriptor refer to? Quality or quantity?
@@aldosimonetti9581 "Wide variety" means different types of complex structures.
@@EnglishProTips ooooh...got it...the wider the variety of complex sentences(eg. Using different types of subordinate clauses, of relative clauses, conditionals, noun clauses) the wider my score...isn't it?
@@aldosimonetti9581 Yes. Just do it accurately and in the correct context! 👍
😎😎😎
With regard to the topics that are written on the paper,
are you specify the topic or the testor?
What do you mean?
Good job MArk Zuckberg !!! ^^
I live in Iran .it is also common peopke sit outside their home watch kids playing and talk to neghbors
That sounds lovely!
Hi In there, I just want to asked if Do I need a IELTS exam Cause I’m Going to process my UK Fiancé Visa, I’m a bit confused at the moment,Please I need help 😇
If you are trying to find out the IELTS requirement for your specific needs, you will have to search online for the official information. Good luck!
Can I use interjections in my IELTS speaking test?
Definitely, you can! It will help your Fluency and Coherence score
Thank you 😄
Do we have to incorporate all the bullet points in part 2?
There is a lot of debate about this. I would recommend that you try to, but don't stress if you're not able to cover them all.
I saw someone said that if the bullet points say: you should say... It's fine not to tackle all of it but if it says: you must say... It means that you MUST tackle all at least. Nevertheless, I think you need to speak at a length to get a higher band
@@natchabebe It always says "you should" (not must).
How cool is that to be speaking with Mark Zuckerberg😁
Kidding aside, fantastic job to both. I've learned a lot
Haha, I don't see it 😁
can I take online test with you?
what happened to her eyebrow in the middle of conversation.
I want to curse all the examiners. Im so sorry for this its just that I answer like her but I still got lower than 6... Im just so f*cking frustrated...
You love the song..but the song doesn't love you 😆
Kulang n lng sbhin filipino maretes
True Filipinos is very judgemental when it comes of grammar and when you speak up.
It is true and I wish we just chuck this mentality away. Most of us associate intelligence with how good you speak English. :(
Not all pls. Dont genaralize..
for ross ielts and adrian. it think she can ahave the same score or 7-7.5. i hope i can have a examiner who is considerate
