This is the IELTS Speaking test with Nicy Wagui from Kenya. Nincy got a band 9 in the IELTS speaking test, which she did while she was still living in Kenya. In this speaking test, we talk about how she learned English, what it's like living in the UK and we discuss working as a nurse for the NHS in London.

simple. natural. comes from the heart. i think everyone here can speak same level, however anxiety strikes and keep us out of tune because most of the candidates thinks so deeply before speaking making the ideas more difficult to express verbally.

Thanks to Eli and Nancy for this Speaking IELTS Test. I particularly like the way Nancy is expressing herself so easily and very clearly and i would like to speak up like her. I guess English beeing a national language in her country has been quite a good advantage for her. I think this test will help me preparing mine. I'm already feel stressful dough.

nice language. it's not about fancy worlds but accuracy and collocations. i can understand every single word she said. i , however, can't speak as natural as she do. that's the difference.

@@Selima_net_propal Yes! I think reaching such a high level is a long process. I wonder if there are many people who have got band 9 without living in an English speaking country...
She is from Kenya and we are taught English from when we begin school, and as a Kenyan I did my IELTS test without any preparation and I got 8.5. It felt like doing a difficult high school exam paper. English is the official language in Kenya, and most educated people have very good diction and the grammar is good.

My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!
