I have to be completely honest with you. I made this for a friend and it was a complete experiment and created out of love. If someone put a gun to my head I am uncertain if I could re-create it as perfectly. I can try to do another video and film the process. But it really was one of those art by chance experiences.
You need to buy some copper wire in different gauges. You will need a stronger density wire in the areas of the mask that demand more weight. You can use thinner copper wire for detail. You need a good pair of jewelry cutters and needle nose pliers. They sell jewelry tools in kits online. Get the basic tools buy some wire and then start to play around.
A fellow mask maker! That's some Talent right there. However it looks rather uncomfortable. Might I interest you in the padded wireframe that I created? From one mask maker to another. I just saw your video in my feed and had to come by and see it! I really like the webbing.
First of all. You could make one. But I think you missed the details. This was a commission piece for someone who was wearing it for a spiritual retreat. It was created for a man. And not the runway. And your wording is funny. It was basically saying if you completely changed it it could look amazing! LOL. It’s OK you don’t get it. We get some copper wire get online by about $1200 in gemstones and get to work! I’d love to see what you come up with. Including your version with the accessories and what have you.
OMG!!! I love it, can you help me with a DIY I really want to make it. PLEASEEEEE!!!
