It bothers me that Bob doesn’t press the point about the timing being suspicious. He’s obviously trying to say that his dad wouldn’t have believed him because he was leaving too late in the day to realistically get to a hypothetical open day in time but Lee missing the point just cuts him off and Bob gives up.
Never understood how they could have David and Victoria on other teams and have something as abstract as the Tim Henman crossword thing. There's no chance that David wouldn't know that's a lie and so it's probably his best acting to date haha

The majority of curry take-away shops also do pizzas so it's not that unusual to have an asian pizza restaurant. I've definitely had more Pizzas made by an Asian than an Italian or American.
intelligence is an interesting thing, at 7:10 a world class scientist can't comprehend that a caller would in fact know they're talkign to rob if he didn't pretend to be someone else. we're all tools for specific jobs, there is no flat intelligence that makes you good at everything.
Nah, he asked why Rob's got a new agent now and Rob said it's very difficult to do your own negotiations and not come across as a horrible person. But that's not a valid point as his clients didn't know it was him so he wouldn't have come across as a horrible person. Rob probably wanted to say that he himself felt horrible about doing it but that's not what he said.
@@zytennit actually is a valid point. Because if he negotiates hard for more pay and then he gets the job, they have a negative impression of him on the first day as someone who wants more money. The panel members all chipping in to make fun of Rob pretending to be his own agent is one of my favourite moments on the history of this show :)
The lies are often too easy to spot, it's the unexpected truths that are generally the best parts of this show.
"it was in the mid 90s" is a great start of that😊
True
I do enjoy Paul Foot's rare appearances. Desperately intelligent and affable too.

Morgana's Australian mum accent is actually perfect hahaha
It’s ludicrous that this doesn’t include the Anne(-Marie) story.
How did things progress to marriage after this between Victoria and David after he believed Victoria needed Henman's help to do crosswords...?
She looked quite disappointed like she was already into him back then.
Dave hasn't been one to override his team's decision, and that's why I think Victoria looked a bit upset!
